Had a great time at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres for a week with my family of 4. 2 buffets available to all guests, 7 bookable a la carte restaurants, multiple pools, snack bars, drink bars, entertainment, shows, and of course a beautiful beach coastline. Be aware that many amenities such as pools, bars, buffets, liquor selection, are locked behind a "VIP" paywall. Different colored wristbands offer different levels of access at the resort. We were given VIP access (black wristband) for booking through Expedia.ca which gave us basically all access, but my family and friends We're not (pink wrostband), booking through other methods. They have flexibility in room requests/adjustments and accomodations for babies, children etc. We had a concierge contact via WhatsApp messagin us daily with the scheduled events and activities for the day, and offering to book us virtually anything we wanted to do here. I'm sure this resort has everything you need and want out of a Mexico All Inclusive package. If you've been to an all-inclusive resort before, this will likely top it, and if you haven't, you might be disappointed going elsewhere. :P Special shoutouts to the Indian and Mexican restaurants, our concierge contacts Dan and Emiliano, and the rest of friendly staff who look to please you day and night. Would absolutely visit again!

We had a great stay at Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres. The resort itself is absolutely immaculate—everything was spotless, well maintained, and the grounds were beautiful.

Breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit always available, which we really enjoyed. Lunch had plenty of good options, but our absolute favourite was the wood-fired pizza and gelato—both were excellent and something we looked forward to every day. Dinners were okay, not as memorable as lunch, but still decent with enough variety.

Overall, the cleanliness, beautiful resort, and amazing lunch options made this a very enjoyable vacation, and we would definitely return.

This was my family’s second stay at The Grand Palldium in Costa Muejeres. It truly feels like a paradise away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The grounds and the property are beautiful and well-manicured. The spa was extraordinary - the hydrotherapy circuit was refreshing and relaxing. The services were comparable to a high end spa. I had a facial that left my skin looking fresh for days.

To get around the property there are golf carts and boats. My family had fun picking which way to travel when going anywhere on the property.

The staff (95% of them) are very caring and helpful. They are very hard working and the housekeeping staff was also constantly cleaning and available (we needed the rollaway bed made up; they were there within the hour).

Our favorite was a boat captain named Arturo. We would cheer when we saw him and he always had a wide smile for us and a jolly laugh when telling us stories. He felt like part of our vacation family.

Thank you to all the staff for creating a great experience for us and my 2 boys.

I had a wonderful stay at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. The facilities are beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience.

What truly stood out was the level of service. The staff were consistently kind and proactive - whether it was stopping golf carts or boats to help me get around, I always felt supported and taken care of.

I travelled alone with my young son, and the experience was seamless. The resort offered ease, comfort, and entertainment, which made the trip especially enjoyable for both of us.

A special thank you to Emiliano and Jonathan Del Valle, who was incredibly responsive, helpful, and always checking in to see if we needed anything. Their support made a meaningful difference in our stay.

Overall, a very positive experience, and I would absolutely return.

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and while the resort itself is impressive and visually stunning, the service didn’t consistently reflect a 5-star experience — often feeling closer to 3-star.
Many staff were excellent and deserve recognition, particularly Pedro in TRS, Odon in the Japanese restaurant, and Maria, our WhatsApp concierge, who was responsive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, reception was a major letdown. Staff were unfriendly and our checkout experience was very poor. We were overcharged on our bill and, when queried, reception could not provide a printed invoice. This left a very bad impression as we departed and felt unprofessional for a hotel of this calibre.
We also had issues with our room keys/wristbands being deactivated twice during our stay, both times in the evening, resulting in a 10-minute walk back to reception. Although resolved, it was their error and we expected a better apology.

Despite having premium drinks included, these were unavailable in the sports bar and pool bar, with no clear explanation. Premium spirits also had to be specifically requested or you were given local brands by default. The steak restaurant charged extra for “premium” cuts, which felt unreasonable for an all-inclusive resort.
The outdoor jacuzzi failed on two occasions, only discovered after filling it. Minor but frustrating issues also added up — the upstairs minibar wasn’t replenished, adapters weren’t available to borrow (requiring a $12)

I disliked the loud music that was piped in everywhere except the beach. While it’s an all inclusive resort make sure to bring plenty of small bills for tips.

The room was great, excellent view. I loved that there was always something to do regardless of the time of day. The trip was extra special because I had exclusive access to an Expedia staff member on WhatsApp. Maria was so helpful and checked in on me, made sure I had my dinner reservations confirmed.

My only concern was that housekeeping staff entered my room twice, despite telling them in person and having the do not disturb sign on both days. I had no valuables so didn't think much about it, but something to keep in mind when leaving the room.

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Most of the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful.
The à la carte restaurants were just okay.
The beach was nice.

Cons:
We tried to make dinner reservations in advance but were unable to get the restaurants or times we requested. Be aware that if you don’t have reservations for the à la carte restaurants, you will have to eat at the buffet, which was not good.
The nightly shows were very basic and boring—definitely not what you would expect from a 5-star resort.
There were only two restaurants open for breakfast for a resort with over 600 rooms, and the food was bland and basic, with limited options.
Drinks were watered down.
There were not many activities for kids besides the kids’ club.

Overall, the stay was not worth the money.
We would not stay here again and would not recommend.

Great experience thanks to Maria our VIP concierge. Booking through Expedia gave us the perk of her advanced service. Everyone was super helpful but Maria stood out as she put together the perfect room and the perfect spa packages and dinners for our family. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this resort experience was so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others.

Three out of five people in our group became sick for more than half of our stay, and the only common factor was the food and drinks at the resort. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into days of stomach issues—something no guest should have to deal with.

The automatic lights in the room were a nightmare, constantly shutting off even while I was using the restroom. Waving my arms in the dark is not my idea of a luxury stay.

Getting around the resort was just as bad. The property is huge, yet the shuttles were unreliable, rarely stopping for checked-in guests, and often displaying “check-in/check-out” signs that meant they wouldn’t pick anyone up. We were dismissed multiple times, leading to long, exhausting walks in the heat just to get food or meet our group.

The buffet hours were extremely limited, leaving no food options for hours if you didn’t have a reservation. When it was open, the food was mediocre, not fresh, and many stations were left unattended, which is especially concerning given how many of us got sick.

Room service was no help, with hour-long delays for basic items.

On top of that, the resort feels almost entirely catered to weddings, with blocked-off sections and constant disruptions that make regular guests feel like an afterthought.

And if you’re hoping for nightlife, there is none. The resort becomes completely dull

I want to start by saying that the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms, the restaurants, the pools, and the beach — everything is gorgeous. The staff treated us incredibly well, and I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about them. I only have great memories with the staff. I can’t remember many names, but I do remember that Jorge took great care of me at the pool — he was amazing.

The only issue we had was that my friends and I got sick on our second day. We were a group of five, and three of us got sick during the trip. I’m not sure if it was the water or the food. I’ve never had a stomach bug before in my life, and this was my first time. This was also my third time in Cancun and nothing like this had ever happened before. Even sick, I tried to enjoy as much as I could. Unfortunately, things like this happen. I don’t want this situation to take away from how beautiful the hotel is or how wonderful the staff treated us, because they truly went above and beyond every day. I just hope the hotel can look into what might have caused this, so future guests don’t go through the same experience. Besides that, everything else was perfect, and I would love to come back one day when I can fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

This is my fourth time staying at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres and I keep coming back because I love how beautiful the resort is and how great the staff treats my family. We stay in the Family Selection side because of the great amenities it offers to families. We love The Nest Restaurant (exclusive to family selection) because the proximity is so convenient and they have a kids club on site that is super helpful during meals. Also, the staff at The Nest were so great to us during our stay and always made us feel welcomed. We especially loved the noche de carnes at the nest, food was so good! We loved the Family selection pool because of all the activities they offer and the attention to families. Throughout our trip, Expedia concierge Maria checked on us daily and assured everything on our trip was going great. Really appreciated her attention throughout our trip! Shout out to our butlers, Sebastian and Felipe for being amazing and helping us book all of our dinners! Shout out to our favorite golf cart driver, Oscar. Thank you for taking us to and from our dinners and being so great and patient with us! I love this place and can’t wait to go back!

It was a great stay. We booked though Expedia. When we first arrived I asked to be be upgraded to a different room and they were more than happy to do so. We stayed in the Loft. Wow! Very impressive! We went to the buffet the first night. Not that great. The food was not warm and we ate something that gave us both a stomach bug. We had to go get some Pepto at one of the shops. $23. For Pepto. The service around the pools mostly catered to the party life next to the bar. They barely came around to the other side of the pool. The boats are cool and a fast way to get around. So I would say all in all. This place is a 4 star out of 5

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and we had an amazing time! All of the staff in every aspect of the resort, was very kind, professional, helpful, and made the experience so great. I want to specifically thank Maria, our VIP concierge who was amazing and went above and beyond for us! Even before check in, she reached out and offered assistance. Throughout our stay, she was very attentive always making sure we were okay and asking if we needed anything. She was particularly helpful in helping us book all restaurants for dinner, last minute tennis, and assisting us with a last minute extended stay of one night, she really provided exceptional customer service. All of the rooms, facilities, restaurants, buffets, and pool areas were very clean. Our experience at the spa was amazing! The staff was great and we really enjoyed all of our services and the hydrotherapy. The food was really great! We enjoyed it all and were impressed by the quality and taste. Our stay at this resort was an incredible experience from start to finish. They truly exceeded all of our expectations! The food was delicious every single time, with plenty of variety and quality that made every meal something to look forward to. The staff was always so friendly and welcoming everyone greeted us with a smile and made us feel right at home. The bar service was excellent and very attentive; the bartenders made sure our drinks were always fresh and exactly how we liked them. Room service was a solid 10/10, always quick and professional. Having the beach just a short walk away was the cherry on top. It was so convenient .We felt completely comfortable and relaxed during our entire stay. Everything about the resort made it easy to unwind and enjoy ourselves. It was truly nothing short of a perfect experience, and I’ll definitely be booking my next trip to Cancún at this resort!

Maria, our concierge during our stay was pivotal in making this a relaxing stay for us. She set up all of our dining reservations and checked in with us every day to check if we needed anything. Pablo the Teppanyaki chef was superb and very entertaining. The host on the La Trajinera was superb and made us feel very special, I wish I remembered his name. Would definitely return to this resort next week if I could!

This property is huge. It is well kept. I personally like walking but it’s nice to know and see the trolleys constantly running. They even have ferries available. Maria is absolutely the GOAT in hospitality. She is amazing.

Overall the stay at Grand Palladium was okay, the room smelled like mold and was very humid. Even with the doors closed it was hot, we complained about the Air conditioning and they came to fix it but moments later the AC was blowing hot air again. The sheets on the bed were damp and stained. The food was subpar but edible.
