Shower curtain installed improperly so water drips off onto bathroom floor and pools around toilet. Smoke alarm has small strobe flashing every few seconds, very distracting in darkened room. Chips and scrapes here and there. Disappointing. Room 114.

Estuvimos hospedados 6 dias y tuvimos una Excelente experiencia. Desde el transporte del aeropuerto al hotel hasta el check out, la atención fue muy buena, tanto en Recepción, como en el Restaurante y personal de limpieza. Nuestra estadía fue muy agradable. Disfrutamos mucho nuestro tiempo allí. ¡Totalmente recomendable! Gracias a Lesly en Recepción, Maria y Danitza en el restaurante, Arnulfo en el transporte desde el aeropuerto.

It was ok! Was charged an additional fee for when we arrived. My recommendation would be to arrange for transport and travel to Zorritos or Punta Sal. There’s nothing at the hotel or the area.

el personal es excelente, doy una recomendacion no es reclamo es solo una humulde opinion, el desayuno haganlo simple porque la gente no se comporta se come todo como que fueran naufragos y tambien desperdician, es decir no se comen todo lo del plato, los meseros hacen lo mejor posible pero los latinos sin limites no funcionamos, un buen desayuno con cafe leche pan y huevo mas que suficiente.

I needed plain food and room service and the staff were lovely. They would even go fill up my water bottle for me. Cristian was particularly nice. Breakfast was delicious and I had a few other good meals too. I liked how the hotel was linked to the shopping mall. Made visiting the farmacia and other necessary shops really easy.

Very noisy as next to the plaza. Free drink was water. Breakfast both days left something to be desired. First day we came at 9am. Everything was empty from food to glasses to bowls. Second day we had to leave early so had breakfast at 7am thinking that since we were there early things would be better. Yes everything was filled but everything was stone cold. They just opened so why was everything cold. We hardly ate anything. Who wants cold scrambled eggs and wieners for breakfast. Very disappointing for sure. Will not be back.

Mi familia y yo tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en el hotel Wyndham Costa del Sol Tumbes. Desde el momento en que llegamos, fuimos recibidos con una atención excepcional y una cálida hospitalidad. Las habitaciones eran amplias, cómodas y estaban impecablemente limpias.

El personal del hotel siempre estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades, haciendo todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera placentera. El restaurante ofrecía una variedad de deliciosos platos locales e internacionales, y el desayuno buffet era abundante y delicioso.

La ubicación del hotel es ideal, tiene un centro comercial para realizar compras con muy buenas ofertas y precios muy buenos, disfrutamos del cine, y de las principales atracciones turísticas como Puerto Pizarro. Disfrutamos de la piscina y de las demás instalaciones del hotel, que nos permitieron relajarnos y disfrutar al máximo de nuestras vacaciones.

Recomiendo mucho el hotel Wyndham Costa del Sol Tumbes a cualquier persona que busque una estancia cómoda y memorable en la Región Tumbes. Sin duda, volveremos en el futuro.

I thought everything was good. The only thing was that they have the music too loud on the fourth floor Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, so I think that they’re doing the week they need to be more conservative when it comes to the music and the fourth floor, making sure the door is closed so the guest are sleeping at 10 and not listening to the music still playing until 12 PM during the weekday since Since I do have to go to work, then there for that reason.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, from the moment we checked in they were super polite and friendly, very courteous. Miss Karla and Mr. Arnulfo were very accommodating and welcoming. Mr. David at the bell stand super helpful. We experienced their breakfast at the restaurant and was delicious, they had lots of different options and it was a great atmosphere, Marisela and Maria were the best and always very attentive to my 3yo daughter needs❤️
I usually don’t write reviews because I either forget or don’t have time but I really felt compelled because of their outstanding service. Thank you Costa del Sol Tumbes and Cynthia for showing what you do best!

On check in desk staff were rude. On arrival to room it was found that the key would not lock the room. Made us wait for almost an hour while maintenance man tried to fix lock. Then made us wait again for someone to clean a different room. In the middle of the night the air conditioning stopped working. When maintenance arrived in the morning they went somewhere and flipped a switch to turn it back on. Apparently they just turned it off. No apologies from anyone for anything. In fact when I asked them to comp a bottle of water I used during the night because the children were suffering they flatly refused. I will never stay here again. I thought Wyndham was a quality hotel but I guess not. I will review further on my YouTube channel. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this facility.

A lot for the cost

A really nice hotel, especiallyy for Tumbes. It is centrally located, has a parking garage, is attached to a mall, a really nice complementary breakfast, outdoor pool and bar area, and the suites are nice for the price.

No tienen un control adecuado sobre la política de reserva para el uso de la piscina.

En recepción me ofrecieron reservar una camioneta de confianza para hacer un traslado. A la hora pactada llamé al contacto que me brindaron y la persona no tenía idea del servicio y que se encontraba fuera de la ciudad. Al conversar con el recepcionista me dijo que la movilidad ya estaba en la esquina, cuando salimos nos dimos con la sorpresa que era un auto, al preguntar cual sería la diferencia tarifaria, puesto que el precio pactado para el traslado era para una camioneta y no un auto, me dijeron que el precio se mantenía. Fue un mal rato, totalmente innecesario. Al final si nos dieron un descuento, pero nosotros que éramos 4 tuvimos que hacer un viaje de más de una hora en un auto, totalmente incomodos.

What I liked: it was in the city close to the places I had to go.
What I didn´t like:
1. Had to change rooms as the first night was a nightmare with no A/C and the heat was terrible.
2. The bathtub in the first room was dirty, there was green gooey stuff in the metal jacuzzi outlets.
3. Someone came the first night to fix the AC and was not prepared to do it, had no clue, how come a 4 stars hotel does not have someone competent 24 hours to take care of that?
4. I ordered food (room service) and my order was wrong.

We stayed there for 3 nights. When you enter the hotel lobby and the room, everything appears fine but the issues started. First the air conditioner was a problem. You have to bring set it to 10 degrees Celsius for 10 hours til in gets 24 from 28C.
2nd: poor drainage in bathtub. After you done with your shower you stand in 6 inches of soapy dirty water. We called the front desk a few time and our last evening the finally send one of the maintenance guys. No tools, no nothing. After 5 min he said it’s fixed, well, the next morning we take showers and there’s 6 inches of standing water not draining.
3rd: the bed, the linen smelled like urine. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. The should have changed our room but chose not to.
By the way, their towels we wrinkled and ruggedly looking ( see pix)

A little disappointed

Older gentleman that works outside near main entrance was extremely helpful as he has been on our previous visits. Front desk staff was indifferent, he was more interested in talking to a co worker than getting us checked in. Room we booked was supposed to be a queen, but was actually a double bed and pretty tight for a couple to sleep comfortably.We have stayed here several times in the past and this time was a bit of a let down. Still very clean, but service is lacking.

I have always stayed in costa del sol around
Peru and this time in tumbes was the worse. The man in the front desk was not kind at all. We booked on the phone one day ago and when we arrived this guy tried to charged us a little more the rate than we heard on the phone. So we left the hotel and tried to look for another hotel but we checked Expedia and found a good price and we came back. This guys was not kind at all. The room was not good, he didn’t give us the wifi password neither our key. I had to go back and ask for the breakfast time and the key and also for the free airport shuttle... so if you’re coming from Punta Sal or Màncora stay in other hotel

The restaurants were very nice. My first room was disaster next to kitchen, noise and smell. Second room looked into the center of town and the windows are not sound proof on the first floor. Once we settled in, the attention by staff to try and accommodate was notable. We stayed at the same hotel a week later on our return home and it was a much better experience than the first time. Beds were incredible, helped to forget about the drawbacks.

Modern, clean, quality hotel in central Tumbes.

The hotel is central, on a square and connected to the Plaza de Armas (about 3 blocks away) by pedestrian street. A good restaurant (Paprika) with Peruvian specialities. Next door is a shopping mall with large supermarket, ATMs and fast food options. I was on 4th floor, which also contains pool and bar - the bar was lively when I walked past and I was concerned about noise but the soundproofing was good and I did not hear the bar from my room.

Definitely the nicest place in the city. Huge room, comfortable bed, great staff. Free shuttle to the airport was a big bonus. Pool and bar area was nice and lively. Lots of people hung out there in the evening. Complimentary Pisco Sour upon arrival made me feel like I was on vacation. Pool could have been a little cleaner, but that's really my only complaint about the place.

I stayed here one night and was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is in a great location with a shopping center connected directly to it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were good. They have a gym that is well equipped. Overall I was happy with my stay.

I drove from Ecuador, and as I didn't want to spend to much time in the car I went for the city of Tumbes, and that wasn't really a good call. Anyhow, the hotel was good, but there where 2 mayor problems: the air conditioner didn't work in my room, neither in the other 3 room they offered me the firs night. Next day they worked on it and fixed it. The other thing was that the pool was closed for remodeling, but we only found that when we where there

The free breakfast buffet couldn't be any better, plentiful and delicious!
The room was spotless and spacious. The king sized bed, good pillows, and air conditioning made for great sleeping.
Being a commoner, the hotel, especially the dining room, offers more service than I am comfortable with. If that´s your cup of tea, you couldnt ask for better.
