A very helpful staff. Very respectful and kind. There was a. Breakfast and was tasty. The pool was refreshing. Room was clean, only criticism- no bidet.

Breakfast needs to be ready at 7am. They offer breakfast which I paid for but it wasn't ready. I had an appointment for 8am and couldn't have breakfast.

Decent value for the price. But keep everything locked up. What is not locked up will get stolen. Had everything locked up in suitcase except for handkerchief that I had handwashed and was drying, going to travel with it. Cleaner took it, saw him with it. Even the small items are taken. No respect.

There was not a difference in the room types but charging more money and stating that there is. Also, the front staff is very rude, disrespectful, and disappointing, this hotel should be removed from Expedia hotel choices. I really feel I deserve a refund from this experience.

Home away from home

This started being a trip to spend time with my husband, but then we had to extend our stay because of the Coronavirus. I’m very thankful we chose to be at Citilodge! The staff is great, the managers are so very helpful! It makes it a much easier thing to deal with. This is my home away from home.

(1) My hotel room is smelling, as there is no ventilation in the toilet.
(2) Water that is runing from the tap is not clear and smelling, and toilet bow is not well fixed. It is shaking when sat on it.
(3) The Conference room which is right besides my hotel room had been turned into Church and this worshipper are making noise with their drums and singing.
(4) We could not use the Gym sometimes because we have to go to the gym through the Conference Room which has been turned into Church.
In fact, I do not recommend this Hotel because it is very noisy either during the day time or night.

I didn't like the place

The receptionist, Mercy was nice and the guy at the door. The breakfast was a disappointment both in the amount of food offered and the taste and the service. My room, well, I killed two cockroaches in the two days I was there, and the AC worked but was loud like an airplane, and the bar at night had music that was just under me, in Sunday they had a singing church just above me, I had to leave the place and went to another place.

Is a budget hotel

Lots of construction going on. So noisy. Access to rooms blocked sometimes. I expected buffet breakfast but it was basically yam or pasta, stew and cereal with coffee or tea. Initially planned to extend my stay but had to move to another hotel. My bathroom was not that clean and a better skilled workmanship needed in conducting repairs especially inside the rooms like wallpapers not placed nicely or bath tiles fillings looking rough. 1 brown newspapers coloured tissue paper and 1 bottle of water per day in your room. Is really a budget hotel.

On the other hand staffs were very friendly and do acknowledge guests presence with good location.

Good value

Overall an excellent bargain there. So not upscale, but you get your money worth. It is very loud, though, especially if you are by the pool. You get pool noise, and noise from the church that is held there. Breakfast is only for one, but Hotels.com does not tell you that. Wifi not so good. Good location to get taxi, especially for Uber. Nothing close by to eat, though

It was not quite the greatest stay ever. My room was not cleaned for a few days, they didn't give me a towel till i requested it. Infact I had to request for a lot of things, even tissue paper. However, the staff were easy to talk to and the location was great for my needs

Lovely spacious hotel with very friendly staff.

I had a very good time at this hotel during my one week stay there.The staff will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The whole hotel is very spacious and clean. Stairs are very wide. Good air condition and television in all rooms. Good free breakfast to start your day.

Lovely spacious hotel with great staff.

Excellent value for your money. Tasty free breakfast to start your day. Gym and swimming pool on site.l booked a room and actually got a suite for the same price. Very spacious rooms. Lovely dining area. The entire floor is tiled and has a very nice look. The entire property is kept clean at all times. Very pleasant staff who will answer all your questions to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You will never regret staying at this hotel. I recommend it 100 percent.

Impressive Looking but Falls Short

Overall the stay was OK and I would have rated it as good or very good but for some major issues.

Booking details not respected, such as two breakfasts, this had to be pointed out to staff who should have been made aware of it in advance instead of challenging me about it in the middle of breakfast.

Dead cockroach was found in cereal at breakfast and while I commend the attitude and swift action of the Manager in the breakfast room, he apologised and provided an omelette and fruit juice, this was not offered for the remaining days of my stay and obviously, I did not touch any of the cereal again.

The room was fine but the bathroom's condition was very poor and this was a deluxe room. The shower unit was coming off the wall, towel rack was broken and whole set-up looked liked it should have been refurbished or replaced years ago. The shower burst before I left and while it was replaced, I was at first told that as it was Sunday nothing could be done. It was when I then asked the staff how I was to shower that she said they would change the room. In the end the unit was replaced. The attitude of the staff to my report was quite unacceptable.

I would single out for commendation the guy who cleaned the room for most of the days (I believe Noah was his name) and the Manager who responded to my breakfast cockroach complaint for their attitude and the care and concern they shown.

not bad for the price, but a little misleading

It was an excellent price, room good size, bathroom okay, had A/C. Advertised as free breakfast, but booked as 2 adults and they would only allow one free breakfast. Second one was 1800 nara, or around $5. Breakfast not much choice, much less choice later days like they forgot to put stuff out. Last day only choice spaghetti.

Comfortable accommodations; Nice staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sufficiency of Citilodge Hotel for my stay (I was initially a bit wary after seeing some bad reviews). Staff is friendly, Operations Manager was very accommodating, rooms are comfortable with power/backup generator on all the time, water running, wifi was intermittent but worked anytime they reset it. Altogether a pleasant stay.

Very low class hotel not worth the money

Intermittent wifi - mostly not. Electricity outages backup by generator every day and night - no maintenance and showers were disgusting. Hotel is in the middle of no where.

Save your money.

Het positieve punt zijn der mensen die er werken.

De kwaliteit van het eten liet te wensen over, het ontbijt stelde niets voor, handdoeken op de kamer krijgen bleef een probleem en bovenal er stond nergens vermeld dat er een kerkdienst in het hotel wordt uitgevoerd. Dit geeft erg veel hinder. Ik heb veel gezien maar niet zo beroerd als hier. Ik hoop dat het management hier verandering in weet te brengen.

Safe hotel, but the physical appearance was poor

The hotel was safe and service friendly. The standard could have been much better. The maintenance and cleanliness of the whole hotel was not very good.
