We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights full board. I was not sure it would be as good as the photos, but it’s better. This resort is fantastic. It’s better than the photographs. We stayed in a Neer cottage with a plunge pool. It was as amazing as the photos suggest. The gardens were pristine and the swimming pool was very clean. There was a large menu for lunch and the breakfast choices were comprehensive. The quality of food was excellent. We had a small problem with the laundry but this was rectified to satisfaction with a free rewash. We would 100% stay again.

If you book a safari then the morning safari was better than the afternoon. We had a private jeep for around £200 per safari. We got to see a tiger so we’re very lucky. We were in zone 6. Check out which zone is closed when. We only got to see deer and antelope on the afternoon safari in zone 8 but the views on the mountain were breathtaking. The tour of the fort was amazing. A unesco site and the people at the temples were very welcoming. Great local guide.

We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the earth. The staff were wonderful. They could do enough.

Nicest most attentive staff that go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be and I would be remiss not to give Nivesh a special thank you. Clean rooms that are wonderful and comfortable, and they make your evening full of interesting activities like music, stargazing, and outdoor theatre under a full moon. A true gem! Great food!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Earth, our room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are very peaceful, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent, and restaurant staff outstanding. The pool area was large and the pool itself clean. Only minor issue with the facilities was the gym which was a bit disappointing, the equipment being dated and in need of a good clean, but still usable.

The evening entertainment, magician and bands were very good.

I would be happy to return and to recommend to others.

Booked for a 2-day stay for us to do a Ranthambore safari. Chose this property due to pool, eco values and appearance.
The good points: the pool is small, but nice. Grounds of hotel beautiful and well maintained, Vayu villa very nicely done. Outdoor shower was quite cool - a bit dirty (there was a storm on one night) but I guess that’s normal.
The less good points: the Earth’s own website states it has a bar, but there isn’t one. ‘Under construction’ according to an embarrassed staff member. Except it isn’t. Can’t order alcohol in the restaurant, only on room service. Which is false advertising in my book. Restaurant is ok. Has lots of western cuisine options on the a la carte menu, many of which are not actually available when you order them, but there is always something available. When we checked in we were given a single A4 print out with details of the resort, activities/entertainment etc. but no map or explanation as to where we’d find these things. We had a driver who took us to the safari jeeps but this hotel is quite some distance from the village, so you are somewhat reliant on eating/staying in.
This place is expensive compared to similar hotels in locality - £140 per night - for this price I’d expect a little bit more in terms of service/facilities.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and super comfortable and the property itself is very lovely overall. The only things i really disliked were that the owner of the handicraft store on the property was extremely pushy and it made it quite uncomfortable as he was always around and would harass you to visit his store and then push you to buy something, and that it was difficult to get towels for the pool. When we asked for towels the worker said he had just laid all fresh towels on the chairs, but then later when we were still at the pool we watched him pick up the dirty towels, which people had used and moved into a pile on the ground (which very clearly indicates they were used since there was no basket or anything to put them in), and put them BACK on the chairs as if they were new and fresh. This really grossed us out and made us feel very uncertain about if the towels we had used were actually clean.

Very hospitable staff service, receptive to feedback. Excellent property. The mud houses kept it cool inside the cottages. Evening high tea with interactive arts and crafts for the guests makes it very unique.
The entrance needs better signs and lights to direct in the dark. There is stagnant water around, which can give foul smell which they are trying to work on.

Comfortable eco hotel. In a lovely setting. It was very cold when we stayed so a heater in the room would have been good
This is a DRY HOTEL, even though their website mentions bar and cocktails ( this should have been cocktails!) - so this is very deceptive.
Staff friendly although rather disorganized . Seemed there were many at the reception desk all trying to do the same thing and when asked a question they got a little flustered .

It’s a beautiful property with so much to do in between safaris. They help you coordinate your safari pick ups. The staff is so nice. There’s fun entertainment including a magic show every night. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. One note is if you’re coming in the winter like we did, bring warm clothes because the mornings are chilly

Incredibly beautiful place. Traditional and eco friendly. Food and hospitality are terrific. We had lots of wonderful entertainment organized by the staff. Your mud house residence is luxurious with all the modern amenities. It has a living as well as a backyard. The pathways are surrounded by rose bushes. It’s really a wonderful place.

Absolutely stunning hotel with beautiful rooms and gardens, perfect for a safari break as feels like something unique and rural rather than just another hotel. Pool a bonus. Negatives were food was ok but not amazing as I’d have expected given the rest of the place, and the internet was shockingly bad very patchy and could only get it in one spot while stood outside the restaurant. Also pigeons poo everywhere meaning the outdoor shower was covered in it so we didn’t want to shower in it. Shame as would have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the internet and pigeon poo!

Fantastic in every way

FANTASTIC!! The Earth is in an ideal location. Short drive to RNP main gate for zones 1-5 and an interesting drive to the other zones. All easy.
The hotel is beautiful. Lovely gardens which are very well maintained. There are 4 different types of chalets/rooms. We had Amber 1. Located near to reception and the restaurant. Perfect location. Loads of space inside, very well designed. Good space for suitcases and putting things. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with good shower and lots of hot water. AC worked well as did fridge which was quiet and kept things really cool.
Food excellent. Choice of local or international. Nothing too much trouble. Chef was frequently in restaurant to make sure everything was good!
Lovely swimming pool area, pool very clean.
In the evenings there was usually local live music which was tasteful and very enjoyable. Local crafts, tea and pastries and an evening large screen nature documentary.
There is lots of choice in this area but I am so glad we chose The Earth. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you everyone!

Loved our stay at Earth. Enjoyed the pool, massage in the spa, dinner service, family friendly nightly entertainment. The grounds were amazing and lived our sunrise and evening strolls smelling the fragrance from various flowers. Staff was amazing and our villa rooms were the perfect for our family of 5. Can’t beat the price!

This hotel was welcoming and peaceful. They have a problem keeping the pool clean, I guess it is due to being beside a nature reserve.

Overall we found this a fantastic stay, the nibbles after the afternoon safaris are a great idea, and the magic show was very entertaining. We would only stay here if we went to Ranthambhore again.

I would have rated the hotel much more - but I find they have been dishonest with me . The hotel itself is lovely and the food is very good . But we came to do a Tiger safari not sit in their lovely garden. I brought a group of 12 people . There was NO info about booking safaris - despite booking the hotel months in advance . So when I arrived in India 2 weeks before we arrived , I emailed them again . I was told they couldn't arrange it and would put me over to an agent who could. The agent told me we would have to go on a waiting list and let me know a week later - and cost was 7000 per person. - I was very nervous - but they DID get us on - and although one of our jeeps never spotted tigers , I've no complaints . I was told no cantours 2 weeks before - only jeeps. After the safari some of our group wanted to try spot tigers again. They asked the hotel who immediately said they could book safaris at 2000 p/ They could not care less about getting a safari booked , just wanting their agent to make a lot of money out of us. When I told them this, they just kept putting the situation back on agent. Sad

Lovely stay at The Earth at Ranthambore

We had a wonderful time staying at the Earth at Ranthambore. We stayed in Vayu 1 and the space was great for my husband, adult daughter and I. The beds were fine and shower was mostly warm enough. The property is very nice. It was too cold to use the pool. The restaurant was nice and the food was good. They seemed to adapt times and buffets based on number of quests and if guests were on safari, so best to check in with the front desk every day. They did accommodate our daughter's gluten free need. It was a little hard to explain but we worked it out. The hotel had high tea with a very fun magician both nights. They had music on their outdoor stage one night. The musicians were good and the guests seemed to really enjoy it. We were given blankets for our safari and they were much needed and appreciated as it was quite cold. They also made sure that we had breakfast on our return from the morning safari. The property is a great location if you are visiting zones 1-5. It was far for zones 6+. Everyone says the interior zones are the best and the most likely to yield tiger sightings.

This is an excellent place if you are a nature lover. Not much to do though since the main attraction is Tiger Safari which consumes 3 hours max. And best time to see tigers is summers so very difficult to stay outside.

What an amazing earthly experience. A fabulous resort that is 5* on hospitality, ambience, service and comfort. Now on my all stays in Ranthambore will be in this resort only. Special mention for Mr Sunil (Ops Mgr, The Earth) for his professionalism and courteous behaviour and the Head Chef. Also the team earth was exceptional

Nice hotel and a very ecological concept of mud houses.
The room phone was not working and you needed to walk up to the restaurant for placing in room dining order in the morning.

Jeden Abend gibt es im Garten Musik und traditionelle Tanzvorführung, dazu weiteres \"Unterhaltungsprogramm\": Töpfern, Sterne erkunden mit Astronomen...
Flexible Eisenzeiten (wegen Safaris), und alles sehr friedlich. Es lohnt sich, ein bisschen mehr Geld für den Aufenthalt hier aufzugeben.

We initially planned to stay for just two nights at The Earth at Ranthambore, but ended up extending to four! From the start, the hospitality was exceptional—we even received an upgrade, which was such a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we were both hit with \"Delhi Belly\" during our stay, but the staff went above and beyond to look after us, providing everything we needed to feel comfortable and cared for.

Although we couldn't fully enjoy the food, we heard from other guests that it was delicious. The location was perfect as a base for safaris, and we were lucky enough to spot tigers! And the pool area is beautifully maintained and refreshing.

Overall, The Earth at Ranthambore provided a wonderful experience that was both relaxing and memorable. We’ll definitely remember the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, and we hope to come back soon.

The restaurant service was great. Raj Kumar & Buddhi were very attentive to our needs and always helpful in making the kids comfortable and happy. The Vayu house was lovely and spacious. Achtung bei Buchungen und Stornierungen. Keine Rückerstattung oder Kulanz!

Ich bin während meines Aufenthalts in Indien erkrankt und konnte nicht weiter reisen und musste die Buchung daher leider am Anreisetag stornieren.

Ich habe das Hotel über Expedia informiert.

Kulanz, leider nein. Ich musste alle Tage komplett zahlen obwohl ich nicht da war.
