The condition of the rooms was amazing let's say immaculate.

Well kept, with nearby assistance available whenever needed, if required.

Each bunk is equipped with a curtain for privacy a light for individual illumination in the night if you need to pack a few things and be mindful of the other guests.

Staff was helpful and kind as well as knowledgeable about the area and activities to fill up your day.

I really enjoyed my experience at Nomads. The staff were friendly and very helpful! Especially Andriana, the amazing yoga instructor with whom we started the day with relaxation and reflection. She was super funny, great company, and a fantastic guide for exploring Cancun! The rooms were clean and practical.

Everything was nice but the rules posted all over the walls did not help. Lots of patrons storing and drinking their own alcohol in the Kitchen refrigerator and area no matter all the signs expressly forbidding that. It wasn’t that big of a deal but seemed strange to have people openly flaunting the rules.

Good area if you want to be near the Bus Station, or around the downtown area for less expensive places to eat or the supermarket. But not close to the beaches, so you definitely have to get a taxi to go to the beach or the main strip / bar tourist area of the city.

Very clean and easy spot to stay when passing through Cancun. My private room was well-maintained and spacious with a window. The one drawback of Nomads is that it is extremely noisy. I had to download a white noise app to sleep.

Well located in downtown Cancun and close to ADO bus station.
WiFi was terrible. Very slow if working. I asked the front desk and she stated that their WiFi was not good. Very surprising for a nomad hotel.
It was very loud. In the room you could hear the music and party from the roof. Door was not working so it was a loud sound every time some came and went. Roommates didn't respect quiet hours. I wanted water and the jug was empty and there was no more until the morning. Staff were polite though. All in all not a great stay for a nomad. Maybe for someone looking to party

Bed bugs and watered down cocktails! Save your $

There was bed bugs in my bed. Woke up every night with more bites and rashes. The room was nice besides that, but that really was a terrible way to start my vacation. The rooftop pool was nice, however the bartenders need retraining on how to make a proper cocktail. He would measure the liquor with a jigger, which is fine; but then we over pour the other ingredients causing the drink to be weak and watered down. A third of my drink was still in the blender with my shot liquor, and instead of pouring in a glass and giving it to the person that paid for it. He would give it to other people in the bar as a freebie. I work in the service industry for over 20 years and bartended long enough to know when I am getting ripped off. After that I just stuck with draft beer. I don’t think I would stay here again when I return to Cancun or recommend as a place to stay or spend money.

Totally loved the amenities rooftop was divine, other guests were cool, calm & collected. Room bed was comfortable, seem to be clean. Only thing I I dislike was the bathroom was never clean shower or toilet areas both were dirty both nights I stayed only toilet paper was taken out, that grossed me out. Ither than that hostal was very convenient & pleasant to stay

I was heading to Tulum and needed a place to crash from a redeye flight. I only paid $10 so the lack of AC, the smell of feet and the creepy guy trying to take me to Playa adel Carmen at 1:00 am just go with with the territory.

The dorms are prefect. The windows are shaded so it always seems like night time. The people i stayed with were very respectful and i felt safe. Also the aesthetics are awesome, from wind in the kitchen to rooftop bar. I didn't do much care for all the partying until 1am but things were take after that.

This hostel has a standard much above any hostel, you feel like in a -star hotel.
Excellent service, cleanliness, tast of furniture - everything is outstanding.
I regret that I had no time to use the pool on the roof-top, but I preferred the atmosphere in the bar which was very relaxing, and worked in a quiet atmosphere on my laptop in the breakfast lobby.

Home in Cancun

I have lost count of visits over the years since this hostel open , it has been my go to since whenever in Cancun and thats two to four times a year. On my last March 22nd 2020 after escaping Colombia border closing, i heard a fellow roomate say its his go to hostel whenever in Cancun. Tried a few places in Cancun however non more affordable ,clean and centraly located and staff remember your name and ewlcome you each time you visit . Thank you Hector

The beds are absolutely horrible. The dinner which was shown as a perk is very small and I found myself eating out after dinner was served. There was one host at the bar area (party rocker staff) who used racial slurs while on an outing. I would not stay here again based off of that. Side note: The front desk staff and cleaning staff are absolutely amazing! There's a taco place across the street that serves amazing tacos and they're open late.

Good location, questionable pool and service.

Good: Near Central station. The cleaning staff are really nice. Met some fun fellow travellers.

Bad: Don't expect any peace, or privacy here. Bed ceiling is too low to sit upright. Definitely a party hostel and there is drunken rowdiness in the rooms and the halls all night, every night. Quiet time is posted for decoration and isnt followed. We saw a heated and drunken argument in the stairwell and couples arguing in the hallways at 3am. With all that alcohol flowing, the guests are left to self regulate if something gets out of hand. The whole place is a rooftop bar first and hostel second, so if that's your thing, you might enjoy it here.

Would definitely shower after using the pool or avoid it altogether. It made us feel itchy. We asked the staff about it and they shrugged saying it's cleaned regularly.

The dinner was chaos. All 3 of us are vegetarians. I ate some of the beans on the plate before realizing it was a meat dish. Waitress was nonchalant and unapologetic and gave our semi eaten food to the next table!

At check out, they will insist you give them a positive review on the spot. My deposit money is in his one hand, their tablet is in the other and they ask me to take a minute and leave a positive review. We told them that if we leave a review, it won't be all positive because of the food service and the pool. Guy stopped smiling, handed us our money and walked away without saying anything.

Perfect Hostel for a trip to Cancun

This hostel is perfect for a trip to Cancun. Its location is perfect, close to the hotel zone, just a 15 minutes bus away. The hostel is also close to the bus station. It is new, clean and even includes breakfast and dinner for a reasonable price.

I think the hotel staff and the people who were staying there made the whole experience of staying there much better. The hotel staffs are very friendly and lively, they will help you with any problems or issue. They give the best recommendations too.

I would like to compliment Maurico. He was really helpful and attentive to my requests and enquiries. He is also very positive and provides the place with a lively mood.

I will definitely stay there again if I go back to Cancun!

Super modern hostel, spacious dorm with its own bathroom. Social areas are great, pool is amazing. Free breakfast and free dinner. The only downside was the music, which was loud at night. However if you want to party you will be fine. The hostel is 5min walk from ADO.

The good The bad and The Ugly this is The best. Can't find a fault except for enforcing quiet time at night ! some clients who have no understanding or respect for others they are sharing accommodation with.

Mayan Monkey put their foot in this location. The amenities(pool, bar, included breakfast/dinner, activities, lounges etc) are best I’ve seen at any hostel. Ramon and the rest of the staff are amazing. And the hostel is conveniently located just steps away from the bus station and supermarket. I look forward to staying again in the future!

Great affordable stay in Cancun!

We went to Cancun from Playa del Carmen (where we live) to do some errands and go to the beach there. We chose his place because of the great location, it's a few blocks away from the ADO downtown station and from the avenue where you can take a bus to the Hotel Zone. We had a private room, extremely clean and spacious, everything worked well, and it included dinner (could be a bit better) and a great breakfast. The vibe of this place is unique, you can meet people from all over the world and although we weren't there to party, it's a great place to do so without losing the chance to rest afterwards!

I really like the place. Very clean and new. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs pool and bar were amazing. They even had made to order omelettes for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The only negative I found that in each room there was only one toilet and shower. If everyone was trying to use them at the same time it would be impossible.

Great now, probably a nightmare at \"Spring Break\"

Very clean, brand new hostel with an awesome rooftop pool and bar. There are nightly activities and very expensive drinking excursions. The staff is just \"ok,\" not particularly friendly and the location is great, just 4-5 minutes walking distance from the downtown ADO bus station. You can get around easily by taxi or public bus to the beach (12 pesos each way) There are a few restaurants nearby offering pricey to super cheap eats. The place is great for 20 something party goers.

All room fans have remote controls They were not labeled as to which room each remote was for. A staff member brought arm loads of remotes to my room but could never match my fan with its remote. On the positive side staff did try to make my stay good. Air conditioning was excellent I wanted to shorten my stay as I wanted more luxury than offered by a hostel and I was given a full refund.

Nous étions dans une chambre individuelle, grande et propre. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. Service aimable à l'accueil, possibilité de laisser ses bagages à la consigne. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester la piscine ni le bar/restaurant sur le Rooftop.
Stationnement gratuit devant l'auberge mais non sécurisé (nous n'avons eu aucun problème).

He pagado para no dormir, han hecho discoteca y hasta las 3 de la mañana y luego la gente ha continuado la fiesta en los pasillos.
Nadie los ha detenido.

Desde que llegué fueron muy amables en recepción y la atención en general, lo mejor es que tienen recepción las 24 horas y transporte hacia el aeropuerto con costo extra que sale más económico que contratarlo con otra empresa. Un lugar perfecto para caminar a playas cercanas o tomar autobús a las mismas, está a menos de 10 minutos caminando a los restaurantes de la avenida principal. Me encantó la estancia, conoces a personas de todo el mundo en el hotel.
