Tram was across the street to get anywhere along the coast there, even to Brisbane. I was told fares are only .50cents, including all the way to Brisbane, did not comfirm it, but information was given to me by a reliable source.

First of all we would def return to Neptune .. the only negative was no hand rail or anything to steady oneself in the shower ..( Im on a walker ) and felt with a tile floor , which soon gets slippery ,this was a necessity...also nxt time we would request an apartment at the rear if the building, maybe less road noise ??? Over a we enjoyed our stay ...

Balcony doors remained closed, and the balcony could not be enjoyed. Less than a relaxing experience. A certain staff member was not welcoming, understanding or friendly. This has to be one of the best places we've stayed at on the GC. The apartment was well appointed with absolutely everything you could possibly need, separate bedroom, livjng and dining area. Washing machine, dryer. Air conditioning and a lovely big balcony. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The pool was private and lovely and warm with a hot tub. Really quiet rooms and we hardly saw anyone else around. I will be recommending this resort to everyone. Thank you for a relaxing and perfect stay.

We stayed in 2 different appartments. Nice and convenient place to stay if you are into the rush of the city. Shopping mall, public transport and the beach are right there.

Disappointed with every morning vacuuming “alarms” at 5 am or earlier on the ground level. I have asked the receptionist if the cleaning could be performed later and they said they will try and ask them to do it later however I don’t think they did as nothing has changed. We stayed with a baby and this wasn’t ideal. Also the amount of complementary dishwashing tablets and laundry detergent considering the length of our stay wasn’t sufficient considering I was meant to take care of clean towels myself.

They showed the 1 bed superior which had been renovated. The 2 bed has much smaller kitchen & bathroom than pictured and was decorated in 1980. Not new decor. One of the single beds had a badly broken spring- unable to sleep on. The staff changed it out to new beds that day. Quick service. We were a little bit disappointed with the amount we paid for superior only to receive “standard”, however it was clean & close to the beach, restaurants & shopping.

Apartment was clean and close to restaurants and shops. I was disappointed that there was no aircon in the bedroom. Also we were given only 2 towels per couple. When asking for more towels at reception we were told it was a self contained unit and that we need to wash our towels. I didn’t come on holidays and pay the money for the apartment to do washing. Plus what were we going to use whilst we washed them. We had to pay extra for more towels. This is ridiculous for the money we paid. Also we didn’t have access to pool towels as reception closed at Midday Sunday. However the sign said 5pm.

The apartment was a great size, with a balcony. Pool, spa and sauna, tennis courts on the grounds, plus a cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and Pacific Fair, the beach and the casino were very close, as well as the light rail.
