Although they are showing their age the shower and room were clean. Room had all you need for a great night’s sleep. Clean, Cool, quiet and dark. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
ALESHIA
The first room that I had small ants crawling around on the bed, on the nightstand and on the desk. I requested to move to another room and that room didn’t have any ants.
Vicki
I would stay again clean &friendly staff

When we checked in, the person on duty told us our room was just to the right…. Turns out it was all the way down at the end of the hall, so we could have parked down there instead of carrying our luggage so far, but at the same time there were people smoking at that entrance, so every time someone came in and out, the smoke drifted into our room.
Sheets had stains on them, the bathroom sink barely drained at all. The mattress sunk down in the middle and instead of regular pillow, there were a bunch of small weird ones.
We went to breakfast fairly early, but the quality and amount available were both poor. The waffle maker had no instructions so there was a crowd of people messing up waffles and taking so much time that we could not make one before leaving. The sausage was kind of white inside and did not even look like real meat, and the bacon ran out early and no more was put out.
I realize this was not a 4 star property, but cleanliness and maintenance can’t be compromised.
The best thing I can say about this property is that the water pressure in the shower was good.

Melanie
The hotel was comfortable, nice breakfast area and the breakfast food was very good!
Roy
The night staff was awesome. She answered all questions and was very pleasant to speak with. The property was all that I expected and I slept great.
John
Room was extremely expensive do to the graduation. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly, but way overpriced.
Barbara
From the time I arrived, the staff was very helpful and courteous. I appreciated the quick response and the way they went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. The property was very clean.
Joseph
Room had bugs in it, black mold though out, burn holds in the blinds, the tolit made a load banging noise every time you used it, bath tub water was slow to drain, tv was small and I can go on. Staff was nice... Felt like I was staying in a motel but paid the price like I was in a high-end hotel chain.
Juan
The area was quiet, the front desk was accommodating, the owner was very nice. The staff were wonderful people. Always willing to assist. Be mindful it is a small hotel, there is no elevator but the stairs are right past the front desk. It’s 2 floors so the walk isn’t bad. They do have the cart right at the top of the stairs to get your luggage to the room. Overall this was a great experience.
klarissa
Child running desk, back door propped open, sketchy things in parking lot that child had no interest in inspecting and red stains on carpet and lampshades in the king suite. Mattress was wobbly and had a dip and husband woke up with a tick. Don’t stay here.
Nick
Stayed one night, we wanted a bed and a shower and that’s what we got. Clean, friendly staff, the hotel could use some renovation but it served the purpose
Michael
Front Desk is amazing. 2nd floor smelled like marijuana.
William
Food was good
Javier
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The level of service was extremely poor—staff were unhelpful, inattentive, and seemed indifferent to guest concerns.
The facilities were in bad condition and clearly not well maintained. Everything felt neglected, from the rooms to the common areas, which made the stay uncomfortable.
One of the most unpleasant aspects was the strong smell of marijuana throughout the property, including in areas where it should not be present. This created an unprofessional and unpleasant environment.
Additionally, the noise levels at night were excessive. There was constant disturbance, making it nearly impossible to rest or sleep properly.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It does not meet basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, or customer service.

Do not stay here. Try to find other place. It is not family friendly
Angela
Staff was great. We had issues with noise in room next door and the young man on night shift was a big help.
Lyda

Gregory
Good clean room. Good value for price
Patricia
Friendly & hard-working staff, lots of breakfast options (fried eggs, both sausage patties & links, biscuts & gravy, etc), very clean.
Theresa
I had to switch rooms because room was not acceptable. Curtains were torn, dead bug in floor and carpet had red stains.
Gwen
The individual that checked us in wasn’t very friendly. The room had no wash rags, coffee maker, phone, ironing board, blow dryer, extra mirrors. The shower leaked if you don’t get the shower curtain to stick to the side of the tub just right. I wasn’t impressed for the price at all
Mayme
Just an average hotel. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was cleaned daily. No real complaints, just average.
Davis
Nice and Quite

I had 2 rooms for a conference that we were attempting in Lynchburg. I didn’t eat the breakfast because there were roaches in the bedrooms and they switched our rooms twice. The 2nd time had other bugs in the rooms and a bunch of dead bugs on the window sill. The toilet was broken and the rooms had a bad odor. I never slept under the covers in fear that there might be bedbugs since there were so many other bugs.
Kate
We were aghast when we entered our room and discovered multiple insect infestations. We also were taken aback by what appeared to be human bodily fluids on the mirrors, sofa, headboards, and carpets. Two of us had difficulty breathing within about 3 minutes of entering the room, due to how thick the air freshener was. Because we were afraid of being bitten by the many living insects, we left after about 5 minutes, after having taken extensive video - it was so comically bad, we were worried nobody would believe us if we didn’t have video proof! Thankfully, we found a room at a hotel about 20 minutes away (which had no bugs or obvious bodily fluids).

Room was clean and fresh. Check in was good and no issues.
Heath
Stains on the towels. Questioned if the sheets had even been changed - cleaned. Smelled like everything was just washed in water. You could see boot prints in the bathroom. Lots of hair in the shower. Every time the AC cut on it sounded like it was about to break. Having to use two remotes on a tv that come up in Spanish. Only two eggs left no waffle mix. Breakfast drink machine was broken no sign. The girl just watched everybody figure it out. It looked like she was wearing Spider-Man pajamas.
Elizabeth A
Only 1 channel on the TV. Reported, not fixed. Large bug crawling along the wall in the breakfast room. Hopefully, was a spider. Hard to tell. The place has seen better days, but is right off the 29. So easy to get back and forth to/from Lynchburg...which is is a 30-40 drive, depending on where and how you go. Definitely not next door.
John
Excellent choice clean staff was very nice and accomodating

Nice place

Good Breakfast
Robert
The room was dirty - 1/2 cracker in the floor between the beds. Extremely dirty under the beds. Very small TV didn't work ,no cable box or remotes. No double rooms available to switch to had the guy at the front desk get me a cable box and remote. We went to 5-6 rooms, with much nicer and bigger TVs before we found a cable box we take. Hooked the cable box up and was still unable to connect after three attempts and verifying connections. Assumed that they new the TV in that room didn't work - coaxial issue probably. Didn't stay for breakfast as we were upset with out stay....
Suzann
Great place for us to visit family.
Linda
Perfect for my dog and me! Will be happy to stay here again.
james
heat and air were effective. breakfast was excellent! everything was fresh and hot. especially liked the hot potatoes, eggs and sausage! even tried sausage gravy and biscuits,,,biscuits were freshly made and so soft! room and lobby and areas were all very clean..will definitely recommend to others...one of best Days Inn, that we have stayed. keep up the good work!
William
Good breakfast, staff was great ac worked fine , a little dated but clean
Patti
No elevator. Makes it difficult with bags, etc. TV did not work properly.
Patti
TV cable was horrible. Unable to watch. Carpet and room needs to be updated.
George
Last minute stay. Overall great experience the hotel is outdated and could use a technology upgrade. You could add phone charging system to make it easier for costumers.
Araceli
You get what you pay for
Philip
Room was dirty
Kim
Ok place to stay
The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good and replenished often. Our beds were small but, comfortable. A dehumidifier was sitting in the middle of the room and there was a slight funny smell in the room. No luggage rack or closet to hang clothes. Not fancy but, fine.
Rachel
The staff were cordial and polite. The room was neat and tidy, but it had food odors and wall plugged air fresheners to make it smell better. The beds were fine comfort wise, but one mattress was terribly stained. Fortunately, there was a mattress pad, so we just dealt with it. The bedding was clean and comfortable. There was spilled food or something white behind the tv stand, which was slightly pulled away from the wall (otherwise I wouldn’t have thought to check).
The bathroom was fine. The shower head was stained with black stuff on one side, but the water pressure was good and the tub and shower curtain were clean. It was a little odd that there was no toilet paper holder and the toilet paper was just set on on the bottom of the sink vanity.
Breakfast was good. There was a nice selection of hot and cold foods, as well as fruit and good attendance by the staff.
The rest of the hotel was fine. The gym looked good and well-maintained. The parking lot was okay, but a little anxiety-producing if you are a female coming in alone at night.

I am here from last night and to midday. So far, it was pleasant. Even though I checked in later than expected, it was appreciated that they still had my reservation, so I was able to get into my room without any issues. I also love that when I ordered delivery from a local restaurant, they knew exactly where I was and no searching. I would definitely return if another opportunity present itself.

The property was safe, clean and quiet. Staff are accommodating and nice. Hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway, and about a mile from dining and grocery stores like Food Lion and Walmart. Really small town where people are friendly and mild mannered. If we’re in the area again, will definitely stay in this hotel again. Overall a pleasant experience.

Good experience over all
Our room was nice! Comfortable with everything you need. We stayed a total of 6 nights and had no big issues. Breakfast was just ok, some days were better than others. We asked for top floor and it was pleasantly quiet. Housekeepers do a great job
Patrick
No elevator, morning desk staff could not look up from her phone , no food for breakfast we waited while they found the cook, we gave up after 15 minutes it was 8:40 am
Patricia
Breakfast was a treat! There were fresh cooked eggs over easy or scrambled eggs with veggies along with expected self-cook waffles and other breakfast items.
Doug
Breakfast was above average. Hotel was hard to locate. Employees were very polite.
Jeremiah
Great clean
Christopher

Don
Close to my event and quiet and relaxing
James M
Clean room. Loud AC.
Loraine
Is the room was clean, the bed confortable, breakfast was included and there was plenty variety. My key did not opened the back door, even though they changed it twice. In the room the phones do not work, one of the lamps did not have a lightbulb, and the lamps shades were broken and dated, also the desk chair that was in the room was peeling off..... honestly it felt like the furniture was the leftover from another hotel...lol but all the staff was very helpful and amicable.
Lori
I liked the jet tub!!!!
sergio
No food options at walking distance, but very quiet and nice place .
Jana
We were very unsatisfied with this property. Upon check-in, we were told there was no elevator. There was also no staff to help us carry luggage upstairs to our assigned rooms.
There was a need to use two remote controls to access the television, but there was only one remote in the room. After asking multiple times and multiple staff members, we received the second remote on the third day of our stay.
The room was very stuffy and smelled of mildew. The windows did not open, so we had to keep the air conditioner on high to air out the room.
The hallway carpets were soiled, and we noticed that they were not cleaned for our entire stay. Additionally, though we understand that water-saving efforts precluded daily towel replacement, we were very unhappy to find that room housekeeping would not be supplied daily. On multiple days, we returned to the rooms to find that the beds had not been made.
We are most unhappy with these issues, specifically because we could not change the dates to match our travel dates. So, although we only stayed in one room for three nights and the second room for four nights, we PAID IN FULL for full nights for both rooms and received poor service throughout the duration of our trip.

Overall with the time we spent it was not bad. The king bed was really nice!
Monica
The tvs didn’t work, beds were extremely uncomfortable, no place to hang anything, no iron or iron board, no mirrors. This was by far the worst experience at a Days Inn. The only thing that was ok was the staffs customer service and the breakfast.
Danielle
Clean and quiet

BEWARE
Upon entering the front door of the facility, you will be taken aback by the overwhelming foul odor that occupies the space. Do you have a bad back? Don’t worry about it, you will work out all the kinks as you manhandle all your belongings up the stairs to the second floor since the facility is not equipped with an elevator! Once you have finished your ascent and meander to your room, feel free to kick off your shoes and relax in the full size bed complete with what appears to be unlaundered sheets and pillow cases, unidentifiable particulates, and ants.
