I really liked the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The guy who cleaned the room was especially friendly and made me feel valued as a guest. This was my first time staying at this hotel but having stayed in about fifteen hotels in Tel Aviv over the years, I’m sure I will return to Jacob Samuel in the future. One small thing: hair conditioner and body lotion would have been appreciated.

I didnt realize the hotel was not kosher. It was not for me. They were accommodating and helped refund part of my stay. The air-conditioning worked well. Yet the rooms were small and nmorw importantly clean. The location is pretty convenient. I my only recommendation is to add somewhere on the description its not kosher.

We called the reception to complain about the lack of of hot water and he said \"its hot\" when the water was warm at best.
Then he admitted the water was cold and said to run the water for 20 minutes.
We just laughed and had cold showers.

There is construction outside which starts very early in the morning! Beware of this!

No A/C. Many guest complained about the rooms being to warm. Opening windows not an option due to noise. After 2 nights they did bring me a fan, fan didn’t work…so they brought another one.

Great location. Only complaint is that early in the morning at 7 am I wanted to shower and there was no hot water. Apparently the heater was off and it took a while for the water to become hot. In a hotel of this caliber, the heater should always be on so there’s always hot water.

When I checked in, the room was not ready, it was dirty and no blankets on the bed and the elevator was out of service. The day after, the manager Tomer made the best and upgraded me and gave me a preferntial tariff, which I appreciated a lot so I decided to stay in the hotel. After this the stay was very pleasant, thanks to Tomer. The hotel is in good shape, but the rooms are small. Location is perfect.

The facility is beautiful. It's very European inside out. The only challenge I had was the construction across the street that bothered me. The service was amazing and they immediately offered to transfer me to their other property- Prima City that was really outstanding- my room was great, location was even closer to the beach and the service was really exceptional.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish with new furnishings. Bed was large, comfortable and the room was fully equipped. Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was surrounded by shopping, dining, markets and cafes. 10 minute walk to beach.

I wanted to give a 5 star review and express how wonderful my stay was here but I can't. From being skipped for maid service (no it was not Shabbat) to the elevator not functioning to having no one at the front desk, it was just not a five star experience. I would definietly stay here again for convenience, location and local conveniences but I will lower my expectations.

I had a wonderful stay here. Gilad & Dave we’re both very helpful and accommodating with my stay. I arrived early the first day Gilad was able to get me into the room earlier, which helped me. One thing we struggled with was the street noise as everyone likes to honk their horn or you hear sirens a lot, however I’m sure most hotels have the same issue.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Jacob Sameul. We arrvied on a red eye flight and were able to store our luggage and have a cup a tea and quick rest before we went out for the morning while we waited for our room. We were able to check in early and that was so helpful as we'd been up for a long time. We really got the sense that the staff understood this and worked to get us in as soon as possible. The room itself was just beautiful and clean. The bathroom glass door and the brass shower head could have used some extra attention and the air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived but it was very quickly fixed but the staff. There is a busy restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel and does detract a bit from a calm hotel lobby, but otherwise, I understand it's a top restuarant in Tel Aviv. The hotel is in a superb location and if you're new to the area, this is a great place to start. We loved our stay, would certainly stay again and have already recommended The Jacob Samuel to a friend who will be traveling to Tel Aviv soon.

I HAVE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL IN THE PAST AND ENJOYED IT BUT THIS TIME AROUND I HAD A VERY ANNOYING STAY . THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON HELPING ALL THE GUEST AND EVERYTHING TOOK FOREVER. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO CHECK IN WHEN I GOT TO MY ROOM THE TV DID NOT WORK AT ALL ,I ASKED TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A ROOM WITH A WORKING TV AND IT TOOK ANOTHER 3 HOURS UNTIL I WAS FINELY IN MY NEW ROOM . THE TV IN THIS ROOM WAS ALSO NOT WORKING PROPERLY . MOST OF THE CHANNELS DID NOT WORK .THE PERSON BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS NICE BUT HE HAD SO MUCH GOING ON THAT HE COULD NOT TAKE CARE OF ALL GUESTS COMPLAINS AS WELLAS CHECK INS. iI WAS NOT THE ONLY FRUSTRATED GUEST .

Overall we had a nice stay, the room was relatively spacious with nice bathroom and comfy bed. No hotel lobby, as it is occupied by a busy bar/restaurant, but our room was quiet although it was on the first floor. Nespresso machine in the room was nice, although we had no capsules when we arrived.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The staff are very helpful and friendly; especially Margarita from the front desk who went out of her way to accommodate my requests. Location is great and there are loads of bars and restaurants nearby. I walked to Jerusalem Beach often and even walked back from Jaffa after dinner once. They booked my airport transfers and a day trip to Jerusalem for me at short notice. All in all I was very pleased with my stay.

The staff were brilliant in responding to a problem and very helpful at every request. The hotel is well situated for restaurants (has a great restaurant down stairs) and bars and cool shops. The only issue we had is the frosted glass wall to the bathroom means if someone gets up in the night the light shines through the room - and who wants to see what the other person is doing in the bathroom.

Perfect little place to stay to get visit tel Aviv. Super luxurious, clean and quaint with great walking access to phenomenal restaurants. Pharmacy across the street too. Try goocha restaurant when there, great great great food! The staff was helpful with booking tours and even manicure services! I will stay here again.

Excellent room in a great location. Only slight downside is the size of the rooms - they are very small. There is a bar in the basement which is really noisy and i was lucky to be far enough up the property to not be disturbed by it. I had a balcony and enjoyed sitting out on it in the morning with my coffee.
