Absolutely beautiful hotel, Mediterranean villa style and incredibly spacious. The private beach and pool are beautiful and comfortable and a true escape. The hotel is on the pensinula which was lovely and quiet and we rented a scooter to go into town each day and out for dinners which was a nice balance, without transport its quite hard to get around from the pensinula (public transport or an hours walk).
The staff made our stay incredibly special and were always friendly, helpful and available to assist whenever we needed or had questions.

Considering coming back again next year!

Stunning location with great views. Pool lovely & lower deck area where you could jump/climb right into the Mediterranean and swim in the crystal clear water was fantastic. Rooms were large & very nice & we had a balcony with a partial sea view. Breakfast outside in covered area near the pool was very good. You need a car to stay here as it is out of town. Parking area provided but quite a challenge & a very steep driveway. The town of Kas has plenty of shops & great restaurants. Only complaint is their CS is lacking. The front office & restaurant staff need a lot of help & training. The restaurant was not at all consistent with their service especially at breakfast.

A hidden gem

Beautiful hotel. Absolutely loved our stay there. The room was spacious and bathroom very large. The pool area has breathtaking views. All is all amazing hôtel however the highlight of our stay was the service, all the staff were outstanding especially John, Faris & Ozan they made us feel home.

The location of the hotel is great, the room had a great view and was clean.

Not very pleased with the restaurant staff and the food. The staff tried so hard to sell the most expensive items on the menu, brought stale bread to the table and the salad greens had the stems.

It is a great place to sleep however, would recommend to have dinner plans in Kas instead.

The hotel was beautiful and the beach area. However the service, staff and food was terrible. The first night we arrived, We ordered the prawn and the seafood risotto which we had to send back as the food was not cooked properly and had to send it back. The service from the waiters and manger made us feel unwelcome. We won’t be staying there again unfortunately.

Villa tamara should is at a 3 star level now. The doors barely close, the window nobs are broken. The ac is terrible makes horrible noises that wont allow you to rest. The view is amazing and the food is great. Everything outside the room is great but the room is definitely not worth the price.

Amazing views and location but needs updating

We booked because of the location and views and they were outstanding. The communal spaces and pool are also great, you can swim in the sea from here.

Unfortunately the quality of the rooms were not the same. Very cheap, things broken, old looking sheets, unfinished and in need of an update. The staff were also not very friendly and lazy they need some customer service training. Also worth noting that the hotel is accessed down an extremely steep concrete slope with limited parking. We saw a few cars get knocked and scratched trying to rev the engines to get back up and out of the slope.

Great staff, fabulous location and view. Amenities need to be improved. The food and beverage prices are too expensive for this level of hotel. The owner’s dog was annoying and disturbing the guests who are trying to tan and enjoy on the pier.

Stunningly beautiful hotel with great ocean access but there are many maintenance and convenience issues. Everything about the hotel looks amazing from outside, seating platform near the ocean, and step down access to the turquoise blue crystal clear ocean is great. Bars and restaurant seating area is very nice and pool is also great. The rooms are dated, we had a suite which was massive but the bed had an old worn out mattress that was hard to sleep on. We had a massive bathroom with a circular tub in the middle, with no standing shower. Also our toilet flusher had issues 2 days, took a long time and many calls to get it fixed. Breakfast and dinner was average, not great. We only stayed there 3 days, which was manageable, any longer would have been unbearable.

Awesome views near Kas

Stayed in a very spacious suite here for 4 nights, should have planned to stay in this lovely quiet hotel longer! All the staff were very friendly and extremely attentive. The views were awesome. Immaculate pool and outdoor bar and dining areas. Be prepared to climb many steps as this pretty stone built hotel is built on a hillside down to a swimming deck on the rocky coastline. The drive down to the car park is daunting the first time you do it. Many shaded, comfortably furnished alcoves and patios to relax in. It is about 4 km from Kas on a good road. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful little spot. Quiet, secluded and private. Nice ancient style building with stone and mortar with modern conveniences. Air conditioning in my room worked great. I had a beautiful little patio to watch the sunrise and look at the water. Food was great at the restaurant. I would recommend a car to get to this hotel, it’s a bit far from anything and a steep hill to get up and down from the main Road. Close to an ancient theatre to watch the sunset over the water. Cool little town to shop in and take a ferry ride to Meil Greece.

Rooms Need A Good Clean - everything else is FAB !

This was our 4th stay at Tamara and although we don't want to we do sadly have to mention the poor room cleanliness this year - there were 2 dead spiders in the room that looked like they had been there for many months; the bathroom taps hadn't been cleaned for a long time, most surfaces were dusty and the floor was obviously washed with a dirty mop. If the new cleaners spent less time on their mobiles and more time cleaning then it would be a different story. However, that said, everything else was as amazing as ever - food was really good, waiting staff were super and the waiter on the beach (Can) was as fabulous as he was 3 years ago. If you want a hotel that has amazing outside areas then this hotel is the one for you.

Villa tamara is exceptional. Its one of the most beautiful places ever. The hotel from outside i fabulous. We arrived at 2:40pm and the receptionist was on the phone. We sat for a good 10 minutes ans she kept speaking on the phone until i asked her pls hang up we have been on the road. Then she made a call to someone and tried to waste a bit more time like out room wasnt even ready. Which it wasnt. The view was to die for but it looked like no one had been in that room for months. The windows hadnt been cleaned. But very big with breathaking panoramic viea. The restaurant and the beach was aamazing. The chef was amazing. The food was so good. The fruit salad was my favorite with tiramisu.

Cute small hotel with personality. Staff very friendly. Home made lemonade and pommegrenade and olive trees in the garden. Clean room. Pool ans also sea access via stairs. About five minute drive by car to the harbour and downtown area of Kas. Property is at the bottom of a steep street. Need to walk stairs. Overall very cute hotel.

Stunning vistas on Kas penisula

Beautiful! place, just outside of Kas central. The peninsula is absolutely gorgeous, of cou comes with some steep inclines and many steps so may not be for everyone. If you want a relaxing place to stay and can handle/don't mind steps, a few steep inclines and descents, Villa Tamara is fantastic. Each level gives a different vista to catch your breath, take in the view. Pool plus sea access via a ladder, note water can be rough but nice to hear the sea. Gorgeous bar, lounge. Food is excellent, staff very friendly and relaxed, no hassle. Local shuttle bus every half hour to Kas central, approx 10 mins to Kas central plus walk 5 -10 mins ( avg fitness) up driveway, looks more daunting than it is. I will come back!

We stayed during the end of september which is end of the season. We believe this is the best times to be in Kas. Tamara was relatively vacant which we got most of the hotel. The staff was very helpfull and instructive. They provided the best view room without any demand. The water is cristal clear and location is very charming overlooking Meis. I wont be sure how will be quality during the heart of the season but this is smt you need to lower your expectations from all hotels. Generally for Kas and for Tamara, this region and hotel not recommended for families with younger children (>15-16)and for older people who have mobility problems. You have many steep stairs everwhere. (not limited to hotel). From beach to top of the hotel, you need to have above average conditions to reach without giving breaks. In general Tamara is an excellent hotel who are looking for a little bit of active holiday.

Our honeymoon at Tamara

We have chosen Tamara for our honeymoon and we do not regret for a second - it is an indeed lovely, very romantic place, perfectly suited for honeymoon! The sea is amazingly clear, pure aqua water, and the beach is just great. You get enough privacy and amazing view to the Greek island of Meis. Our honeymoon suite was indeed HUGE, especially the bed, lovely decorated and very clean - the patio suggested sea view and it looked impressive. The breakfast suggested great variety of foods that are organic, with freshly squeezed juice from the fruits growing on the territory of the hotel - brilliant start of the day with good food and calm sea view. The staff is friendly and very helpful in any situation. We wanted to explore Kas and surrounding areas so we having diners outside (Calmar restaurant is our recommendation) so we haven't tried the kitchen at the restaurant. Nonetheless, the lunch food was great!
The hotel is situated on a steep hill so not the best option for the visitors with limited walking ability. One of the pools in currently out of order - the sea water pool still suggests very clean and warm water with (again!) amazing view.
We are very pleased with the hotel and our experience. I presume we will be back, and very soon :)

Really nice location. Hotel wasn't too busy in September so plenty of sunbeds/facilities to go round. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Down by the water is a great place to unwind for the day - has its own private area by the rocks with ladders down into the water. The hotel could do with a bit of a touch up. Some parts of the room and grounds a bit shabby for wear but the overall layout and atmosphere is excellent. And the room we got was huge (honeymoon suite)

Romantic Honeymoon at Hotel Tamara

Villa Hotel Tamara is located on a peninsula near Kas. We stayed in a Honeymoon suite where after an initial unforeseen issue we moved to a different room. The hotel manager is a very nice lady and want to ensure that all guests have a good and enjoyable time at the resort.

We chose the half board option. The breakfasts were large and generous but started at 8:30 which was later than we would have preferred. The dinners were good but the menus were difficult to read. It would be great if they were updated and made more legible.

The room itself was very large but a jetted tub in the ensuite bathroom. We didn't stay much in the room but is was clean & tidy and the bed was very comfortable.

The outside facilities were excellent. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, 1 fresh water and 1 salt water. There are plenty of sun bathing areas near the pools and near the sea. The hotel has easy access to the sea but doesn't have a beach due to the terrain.

Overall the hotel facilities was good. The hotel manager makes the place work but there is room for improvement.

Great Location - that's all it has going for it.

The location is great and the build of the hotel is good. It's not meant for disabled though - needs a lot of walking up/ down the stairs.

The breakfast was equivalent to a 2-star property with stale chocolate corn flakes, and hardly anything edible. The omelet was the only thing I could eat.

The pricing is too high for the services offered.

Rough in parts but a pleasant stay at Villa Tamara

Our first room, one of their \"honeymoon suites\", was dark, sparse, unwelcoming, and next to a room with trash and dirty towels on its front patio. We asked to switch but were told the hotel was full. We persisted and were put into a room that was way better - sunlit, spacious, colorful, with its own deck and balcony. It took the staff 30 minutes to move our stuff to our new room, during which time it sat in the open in the baking sun. We'd have moved it ourselves, but the staff insisted they'd do it. The bartender didn't know how to make the drinks we ordered and gave us something entirely different. The resident cat leapt onto my wife's lap at dinner to steal her shish kabob but only got the tomato. When we told our server, she didn't even bring another one. We didn't feel breakfast was as good as other places we stayed - the selections were limited, the hot dishes not very hot, and the chairs were so tall your thighs would get stuck halfway under the table and you’d bump into the person behind you making it hard to get in and out. Despite the above, we really enjoyed our stay and had the most wonderful day doing nothing but sit on the private patio down by the water's edge, sunning, swimming, eating, drinking and watching sea turtles. The hotel is beautiful, our room very comfortable, the setting incredible, and the staff all very nice, but we were surprised how different two rooms of the same level could be and the disparity between the hotel's appearance and how its run.

The Ultimate Sea-Side Location!

A special place overlooking the sea, with a terrific salt water pool, unbelievable views from every room, many lovely terraces, and interesting architecture. Our host, \"Nellie\", was most welcoming, especially when we arrived late in the evening. The bar overlooking the pool and sea could not have been better and the restaurant's food - while not Turkish gourmet - was certainly good, with excellent service. The peace and quiet was well worth the 5 km drive from town. Kas is a great little town, much less commercial than other Turkish towns along the coast.

We swam in the ocean each day and there is also a salt water swimming pool that is \"Devine\". The restaurant serves great meals and the staff are kind and conscientious.

Hotel Tamara is big enough to be a hotel but it also has the charm and coziness of a luxury bed and breakfast. The view of the sea and the Meis island is just spectacular. From the operations manager Ms. Nergiz to the waiter Mr Zafer and to the bartender Mr Hasan the hotel staff is was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large and clean and nicely decorated. There was a few stains on the furniture but that is to be expected at the of the summer season. This is not a 5 star hotel but in many ways it sure feels like it.

Nice hotel but there is still a \"but\"...

I was especially happy with the staff working in the restaurant, salt-water pool, and a very nice garden. The hotel itself had also a very nice view and it was mostly nice and quiet. The cleaning maids did a good job. However, I have some complaints to write down as a bit fussy person. We sent a couple of email to the reception but received no reply, so you may need to chase them a bit more. They could have been more helpful. We have had trouble to connect to wifi whole time we have stayed. The evening meals were salty for us, and the prices were high for the quality. Since the hotel is on the peninsula, there are no other dinner options. You have to go to the town, as we did after the 2nd night. The hotel is located down a steep slope, so the best way to get to town is to take a taxi, which costs 25TL fixed price, fyi. Otherwise, you need to climb the slope to get a minibus. Mind you, I think we were a bit unlucky with our room; the glass on the toilet door was broken, also there was a broken lamp hanging on the wall. The walls were also thin which causes the sounds travelling between rooms. The water pressure was quite low. In addition, we have had water-cut twice in the week. Apart from that, you may also hear a laud bartender everyday while swimming in the pool. If you are not turkish, you are lucky that you will not get those ugly slang words. Overall, it was a nice hotel, but they still have something to do in order to make it better than it is.

Honeymoon suite amazing

Only had a one-night stay in this beautiful hotel which was truly wonderful. Our suite was absolutely fantastic with so much space, 2 balconies and fabulous views. Meals (dinner and breakfast), pools (both sea-water and chlorine), bar, service all excellent. This hotel would have rated 5 for location too but the problem here is the hotel is at the bottom of a very steep road (and I mean very) and once you achieve the entrance level, reception is down 2 flights of stairs (and our room was up three) with no lifts in the hotel. We are fit enough but these things could be a problem for older or infirm people.

Beautiful hotel. Great views. Expensive restaurant

This is a very beautiful, small hotel that overlooks the bay near Kas. It has stonework walls, Bougainvillea and overall exceptionally high quality construction. It is located near the end of a peninsula two or three miles out from Kas. The area is mostly private homes and is very quiet. The driveway down from the road is steep and somewhat intimidating. The property has about a dozen rooms. All overlook the bay and a nearby island. It is a great place for sitting on the balcony and watching the boats sail by.

There is a lovely patio where the bar is located and meals are served. The staff was pleasant and low key.

I would be remiss not to point out that the bar is overpriced and the restaurant experience prohibitively expensive. This is not a big surprise given its remote location and that it is a high end hotel. My wife and I ordered seafood for dinner. There was no upfront price. The waiter asked if we would like a lobster appetizer with it and he brought out a full lobster with lighted sparklers. I had a feeling we were being subjected to a high priced dining experience and cancelled the main course. I am glad we did since the tab only to the appetizers was close to $300.

Since we were on a driving tour I felt the hotel was more then we needed as a place to sleep at the end of a day of sight seeing. It would be perfect for a honeymoon or for someone who had more time to enjoy the ambiance and is not concerned about the high priced food service.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, best view in Kas

The hotel was very quiet when we stayed, felt like a private villa with our own personal staff. Food and drinks were great, staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to see. The view from our room was breathtaking. The overall exterior design of the hotel was tasteful traditional med style. Only complaint was the interior design of our room. It was a little strange/conflicting with the rest of the hotel, the rooms were very modern, not what the rest of the hotel feels like. Overall, had a very nice time at this hotel.

- Karşılama ve Uğurlama Aşamalarımız Kötü Bir Deneyim Olarak Gerçekleşti. Güleryüz ve İletişim Sıfır. Bu Tesisi Tekrar Neden Tercih ve Tavsiye Etmeyiz Derseniz Kesinlikle Sebebi Asık Suratlı ve Misafirperver Olmayan Tutumları Sebebiyle Görevli Bayandır.

Hotel konum olarak müthiş.. Dizayn, oda konforu, otel konforu çok iyi. Yemekleride gayet başarılı. Manzarası ve sakinliği insana ekstra huzur veriyor.

Absoluut geen kind vriendelijk hotel. Personeel is alles behalve vriendelijk. Qua eten was er niet veel keus, helaas was er ook geen kinder menu aanwezig. Het zwembad was heel warm en enorm zoutig. Jammer!!

Kaş’ta sakin bir tatil

Otelin manzarası, dekorasyonu ve peyzajı çok güzel. Kaş’ın sakin kısmında yer alıyor, taksi ile merkeze 40₺‘ye gidebiliyorsunuz. Otelin kendi otoparkı var ancak kapasitesi kısıtlı, kalabalık zamanlarda arabanızı otel girişindeki fazlasıyla dik olan yokuşa park etmeniz gerekebilir. Otel plajına merdivenlerden iniliyor, eğer gençseniz yorucu bir yol değil. Bizim konakladığımız tarihlerde otel tam kapasite çalışmasına rağmen ne havuz kenarında ne de plajda şezlong bulma sıkıntısı yaşamadık. Özellikle geceleri mehtaba karşı denize bakan şezlonglarda vakit geçirmek çok keyifli oluyor. Otel personeli çok cana yakın ve yardımseverdi. Özellikle Ozan Bey’e teşekkür ederiz, geç vakitte yemek servisi kapanmasına rağmen bize atıştırmalık sağladı. Otel odasındaki saç kurutma makinesi çok eskiydi, biraz çalıştıktan sonra ısınıp çalışmamaya başlıyordu. Kahvaltı çok sadeydi, bu tarz butik otellerde sunulan zengin kahvaltılara benzemiyordu. Genel olarak memnun kaldık fakat bu fiyata daha kapsamlı bir hizmet sunulabilirdi.

Çukurbağ yarımadasında kaldığımız en iyi oteldi şuana kadar,consept ,otelin her alanı ayrı ayrı zevkle döşenmiş keyıf vericiydi,havuzunun deniz suyundan olması ayrıca bizi mutlu etti,denizdeki loca keyfıne diyecek söz yok kahvaltı self servis değil bu pandemi döneminde çok büyük artı ve personel çok ilgililer , eksi yönü ne derseniz odada ki yatak ve yastık boyle bir otelde herşey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüşken tek memnun olmadığınız ne dersenız bu derim
