The room 116 is the most awful and dirty room I have stayed, definitely not for a 4star hotel. View to a wall, food smell from the restaurant every morning. AC/Heater very noisy (impossible to use). I have requested to change the room the same day of the check in, but despite my complaint (please see the photos below) they didn't even tried or excuse to me. Only the young man at front desk was nice but the lady at the front desk was not professional and quite indifferent.

the bellboy service is very poor. For 166 rooms they just have one bellboy and it's mostly unavailable.

This is the worst hotel i stayed in under Novotel chain of hotels.
They don't answer the land line even if you try many times.
The AC in the room is so noisy & will shock you while sleeping
The view of the room (313) i had was very bad, i think they should close the windows permanently.
The furniture is a bit old & needs to be replaced.
Will never visit again

Need revamp. It’s so bad to see the quality of rooms deteriorates with the time year after year without taking action! The location of hotel is great but you have to maintain the quality of rooms and furniture ! Also I have 2 separate booking but the reception insisted to transfer my luggage and change my room ! There was literary no difference between 2 room ! That was really annoying.

Shame of Novotel

I've been stayed in dozens of Novotels throughout the works, and this is definitely the worst.
1. Both rooms I've been as well as corridors have an awful smell of old smoke. So no matter is your room non-smoking or not, you will suffer.
2. All the facilities old and needs renovation. Mould and dirt are everywhere.
3. Breakfast is ok, but the choice is not very wide. Coffee is bad. I asked the staff to bring some cold played as the were empty, he said ”yes” and disappeared. Half an hour later, when I was leaving, plates were still empty.
4. I had a trip with two kids, so I've reservered superior room with 1 queen bed and one sofa bed with city view. In fact, the room have one midsize bed, and no sofa bed, with views to some industrial cooling units. I came to the reception, and they promised me to bring a sofa bed. 30 minutes later nobody came (despite kids we're going to sleep), so I came to the reception again and made a scandal. They changed the room to another one, with a bigger sofa. Although it was not a sofa bed, it had enough space for two kids and I did my have the strength to war further, so I agreed, and they surprised me that I must pay 25% more for the room. I declined, snt 15 minutes more for swearing, and got a free upgrade.
5. To take the bed linen for sofa bed was additional adventure. I've called to the housekeeping 2 or 3 times before the guys came. Calls to the reception were useless as they were not going to call housekeeping by themselves and told

I really enjoyed the high-quality customer service I received at the hotel. The workers were very hospitable. My view was beautiful which also made for a pleasant stay. Upon arrival, I was able to get some work done, take a nap, work out in the gym and enjoy the sauna. Therefore, the facilities made my stay excellent. I will stay again.

Super bad! I will never stay in this hotel again. They are very unprofessional, lazy and cheap. I was a single female staying there, and they knocked to my room and woke me up at 12 midnight to ask me to pay 70SAR for my diner because they don’t have guarantee. While I had 2 nights already paid. In addition they showed non objection the time I asked to charge the amount to my room when I had diner. That was horrible! When I called the reception about what is happening, they claimed that the management of the Hotel are being picky on these financial issues and that I am requested to pay immediately. Let me remind you - it was 12 midnight ! God knows if they want money or something else !
I showed my disappointment the next day. They promised to communicate with the management and get back to me. And of course they didn’t. I won’t stay in this hotel anymore. Stupid, unprofessional, lazy and cheap!

It was a very bad experience, first with check in where the lady in the reception refused to allow us to check in just before 1,30 hour! We explained to her that we are tried but she refused, once we checked in , the room was have a very bad smell!! I will never back again!! Its totally not a novotel standards!!!!

The sole redeeming virtue of the hotel is the proximity to the Four Seasons if you have meetings there (as I did). It is literally five minutes walk. I am afraid the room was not maintained to standards I would expect. Yellow stains on the lower side of the toilet seat and curtain. Unforgivable for an international chain. If I can, I will avoid staying there on future visits to Riyadh

Good business hotel in a convenient location

The hotel ticked all the boxes for a business traveller at a competitive price. My executive room was spacious with a separate sofa area where I could work. The food was good, particularly the breakfast. This was important for me since I had business meetings over breakfast and lunch there. I also made use of the chauffeur car service, which is essential in Riyadh if you have a lot of meetings. The gym and pool were also of a decent quality, great for relaxing after a hard day's work. Above all, the staff were excellent and tried very hard to meet my needs.

The Hotel is understaffed, the reception staff are polite but expect a good wait until you get attended to.
For check-in and for checkout there was a delay and during the checkout time, there was one person only at the reception attending to everyone.
Rooms are decent and clean.
Food is medium or less, there were dirty utensils and I asked the staff to change them.
There is a large variety of food for breakfast and lunch but the quality of the food is less than medium.
Much more is expected for the rate they are charging.

I enjoyed my stay. I had a nice room that was well designed, spacious and a nice location. The reception staff were nice and friendly. The hotel has a Good selection for breakfast wish I enjoyed. The hotel has valet parking and enough parking area.
