We had an awesome comfortable stay here. The resort is immaculately clean, staff was pleasant, there was running hot water, and not too crowded. We didn’t do all inclusive and chose to eat out in downtown or Uber Eats some local food. Would love to stay here again.

This was our second time at this property and it's one of our favorites. Make sure to get the All-Inclusive as there are many options as there are 2 sister properties with a trolly between them that share the restaurants. The food is great, only a couple require reservations, and relaxed dress codes. (I hate dress codes on vacation - or any time for that matter!) The service is also top notch! Highly recommend!

Good location, combo of regular guests and timeshare guests. $14 cab ride to marina, 20 min walk. Wouldn't walk at night. Good beach and swimming in ocean. Wouldn't do all inclusive if going to be doing activities off property like utv, fishing, whale watching, golfing etc...

It was a bit pricey but it looked nice to I picked it. They called me prior to the visit to sell me excursions but I didn’t trust them. It seemed too pushy. My first impression was that it was a nice place but immediately was being sold a “timeshare opportunity”. I didn’t get a discount card unless I sat through a 90 minute presentation. Big turn off. I didn’t get the discount and was subsequently gouged for food and drinks all week.
I had the worst room in the place. Ground floor beside the lobby with a view of a wall. The place seemed empty so I asked to change rooms. Had to go back 3 times before they told me the place was full. This was not true. There was no one there. I overheard at least two other guests arguing with front desk staff over problems.
I wouldn’t go back to this place.

My husband and I had been at the hotel in June. We had a wonderful experience. We decided to bring my son and daughter in law. I have VIP with Expedia and asked for the upgrade ( I did not receive) my son and his wife had a much better view. The first night their room air conditioner was making a very loud noise , after 3 trips in the middle of the night from maintenance , they banged on it and sprayed a lot of WD40. Which made my son throw up from the smell! On top of everything else they never came to clean their room!! We asked about that and they blamed them and said they must have had their Do not disturb.. wooden door ornament on. Which they didn’t even have one for their room!!’ The next day NO one tried to contact us to change rooms. We went to front desk and with a lot of stress and alot arguing and telling them they deserved something they got a 30 min massage. They Never changed their room and it got cleaned once on their last day!!
On the other hand the food is very good! The service at the pool is also very good!

One of the days, my niece was getting married on the beach. Otherwise, facility was on point & staff friendly and helpful.

The property was beautiful. Unfortunately it’s a family-friendly resort filled with noisy kids who kept us up every night banging doors and running amok. The other big issue we had was the constant requirement of signing for every single order, even though this resort is an all inclusive. Every meal, every drink, you’re signing a receipt so the wait staff can get a tip. They follow you down to the beach or go directly to your room to make sure you sign for any service. At the all inclusives we’ve experienced, we’ve tipped with cash after service and never saw a bill, which made for a more relaxing experience.
Lastly, we were accosted by hawkers at every turn once we left the hotel. You couldn’t walk a few yards without someone trying to hustle you into buying something. After a while it gets very aggravating. Not my idea of a relaxing get away.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was ill while their and they arranged for a in-room visit by local doctors and then followed up repeatedly in the days afterward to see how I was feeling and ask if I needed anything. They could not have been more thoughtful and caring.

The property is also fantastic and the food was excellent.

Hotel has OUTSTANDING service!!!! Probably the best we’ve experienced in Cabo and we travel there at least 5 times a year. This was the first time at this resort and we absolutely loved it. Only complaint would be the shower. No pressure and a consistent scaulding hot to freezing cold. Other than that, we HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!

Absolutely excellent food. Very cooperative staff. First night, got no sleep due to the noise level. Guests should be aware, the rooms are NOT soundproofed in any way. Every noise is reverberated into the rooms and the doors are not soft close so they slam at all hours. But, pool fantastic.

I loved the location of this property and that we had access to the property next door, Villa Del Palmar. We had a beautiful view. The drinks and food were a bit pricey but very good. The workers were very polite and attentive. If you charge items to your room make sure you check your charges every other day. We checked ours and noticed charges for breakfast, which we had breakfast included. They took if off after we complained. Also, we hated that we didn't have wifi. They say its included but it's not free. You have to pay ($20 for basic or $50 for faster wifi / per day). My husband complained about it and they said they were doing maintenance to it but afterwards my husband had wifi on his phone for one day (day before we left). As soon as you check in the concierge approach you about a "Welcome package" but its the information on getting cheaper activity packages with the catch of sitting through a timeshare presentation, which they tell you its 90 minutes but it ends up being longer depending if you show interest.

The property is very clean and overlooks the water and lands end visible from the resort. Sharing the food options with Palmar was great and gave us a more options. The little market is convenient as we opted to forgo the AI as we were off property most mornings and afternoons. Rooms are comfortable with great views. Downtown is about a mile walk or a quick Uber/taxi ride.

This might be an issue that only I have run into, but when I was booking this stay I thought I was booking an all-inclusive stay. It was pretty frustrating when I got to the resort and found out that it was not an all-inclusive stay and I'd have to upgrade my room for a substantial amount. We had planned our vacation around being able to eat at the resort. I believe this is an issue with the listing more than the resort itself, the food and stay at the resort were nice. It was just very frustrating to find out we'd need to spend a lot more money when we thought we had booked the all-inclusive stay.

Everything was wonderful only part that was frustrating we paid for all inclusive and we were told we can call room series 24/7 to have our room refrigerator re filled and when we call they never came to re-stock our room and when we desperately needed water (it was night time too so everything was closed in the hotel) we couldn’t even get any and the front desk didn’t help so we had no water until we woke up n went to breakfast.

Overall, we had a very nice time at Villa del Arco. The staff were friendly, and our room was spacious and comfortable. For the pros, the beach was beautiful and easily accessible. This was a big plus for our little four-year old! The cons were that the pool heating was not functioning for the first two days of our stay. This meant the pools were frigid. Overall, a good stay, but perhaps not quite as family friendly of an atmosphere for those traveling with little ones.

I lost two days because of a whole airport situation and then at the hotel they kept taking us in circles. The information kept changing everytime we asked for something. Yes it was relaxing but there were moments where my family and I couldn’t just relax. Food was the same all 5 days and shows were boring. I was charged for room at the rend of my stay and I still have not recieved my deposit back. I wish I could recommended either buying online or going straight to the hotel and reserving the excursions there but like I said they kept going in circles about it and misinforming and you don’t get your moneys worth but then they say it’s not the best idea or it’s more expensive to get excursions outside of the hotel. Transportation unless you purchase private which is expensive is not the best.

There’s a lot of construction going on at the resort that nobody made us aware of before we came.
We had no hot water for over two days and no one ever offered to speak to us about the issue. We had to go to them and ask what we can do to get a hot shower.
We love the location. The views are wonderful there.

We have been staying at this resort for several years, we love the location. We love the service that we get there. The food is good the drinks are OK.
They had issues with their hot water so we had to go to full days without any hot water to take showers, we understand that things happen, but they never told anybody they never sent out letters to the room or notes, saying that there would be no hot water. There was no communication about this issue, which was very frustrating.

This place was amazing. So clean. The staff was incredibly nice. It felt super safe. I liked the guarded entrance to the property. The room was really nice and spacious. There were a couple of things that weren’t fully explained that would have been nice to know - like when you check out a pool towel if you don’t turn in as many as you check out there is a per towel charge. And reservations are highly encouraged at the restaurants for dinner - but if you go the restaurant around the time you want there is usually a table available. The call center for reservations always only gave us times at 8:30p or 9:00p but when I went to the restaurant they had open reservation slots at 6:40p or 6:50p or 7:00p. Not sure why we weren’t offered those times in the beginning - plus if you reserve and no show - there is a fee. However LOVED the spa - except the steam room was way too hot - that was the only bummer about the spa. Had to leave after less than 2 seconds. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We had a group of 11 and our pool server Samuel was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay.

The property is in a great location . The food is limited 2 types of beers and All inclusive doesnt cover the restaurants, tips, etc. They did an add on fee daily and then 10-7 am you cannot get any water unless you pay. All inclusive plan is horrible.
