Great location, so I guess that’s what you’re paying for but for how much I paid I expected so much more. I’ve had much cheaper and more comfortable stays in Banff. This room was tiny, old and clearly not well-maintained. Everything was faded and scuffed. None of the outlets on the nightstand worked, so we had to unplug lamps to charge our electronics. Even their robes were falling apart. I’ve never seen hotel robes in that condition, especially not for $700 a night. Besides the location, the only good part of our stay were the staff who were all lovely and helpful. They even set up a little birthday message for my partner in our room and left us a chocolate bar. That was very kind and we appreciated it a lot, but the state of the room was very disappointing for us.
