Clean room. Non-smoking. Oxygen provided in the room. Only 1 restaurant was opened for lunch so we went opposite where there were some eateries. We also took Didi 5mins drive to a nice mall for meals and shopping.

Title: Beautiful hotel with impressive lobby, but limited English and western options

I stayed at the Intercontinental Resort Lhasa Paradise and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel building and lobby are magnificent — truly grand and beautifully designed, giving a strong first impression of luxury.

However, there were a few areas that could be improved. It was surprisingly difficult to find anyone who could communicate in English, even at the reception desk, which made simple requests challenging. The breakfast buffet had very few western options, and the in-house restaurants also offered limited western dishes on their menus.

My Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, but there were some shortcomings: the minibar fridge wasn’t working, the curtains were manual (not electric as expected for this class), and there was no welcome pack provided. Even the soap had an unpleasant scent.

Overall, it’s a visually stunning hotel with great potential, but service and amenities could use some refinement to truly match the Intercontinental standard — especially for international guests.

Lobby was ice cold even staff complained about how cold the lobby is. Staff Vicki and Justin were amazing staffs who attended to my questions and provided assistance.

Far away from city

The hotel is so amazing. The place is clear and comfortable. Remarkably, it provide oxygen freely in each room. But, location is too remote, no shop and restaurant nearby.

Nice big hotel room. Over all is very nice place to stay if you don't have high altitude sickness. Breakfast has a lot of choice. However, stuff didn't help with luggage when we checked in. Feel very tired pulling luggage on carpet. Had high altitude sickness first two days, called front desk, they don't have any medicine on hand, not even oxygen. There aren't any clinic on site according to front desk. Not sure if the oxygen system in room works.

Hotel indoor areas are extremely cold. Room not as cold but cold so a portable heater had to be used

Service not up to a intercontinental hotel

The hotel is brand new and recently opened, but many issues which should have been avoided by proper staff training
Service was inconsistent, difficult to find English speaking staff, no menu in the room to order food, previous guest hair in the shower...

大堂宏偉 , 客房非常乾淨 , 有免費WiFi
可能不懂控制空調 , 溫度都無法自己控制 , 房間長期24~25度 , 晚間睡覺時比較熱
另外酒店位置比較偏 , 公車只有20路巴士能到達
