This place needs a thorough renovation. It is old, grungy, smells of old dirt and is just plain yuck. The A/C system kept our group (2 seniors and a 6 & 8 year old) awake most of the night. It sounded like there was a 747 taking off in our room. The "top rated" breafast they advertise, is a sit down option where you order from 4 different items they offer. The breakfast ticket lets you know that you may wait an hour to get your breakfast. NO THANK YOU. We got up early, grabbed McDonalds and were out of the room before 9AM. We were there to spend the night with our grandkids, swimming and water-sliding and of course having another round of that in the morning, The pool area was freezing cold. We didn't last half an hour. Our room was booked for 4 people. The room sleeps 4 people. There were only towels for 2 people and there was no bedding for the sofa bed. To say this property disappointed everyone is an understatement. Our grandkids are pro's at hotel hopping as we do it often for good swimming and bonding experiences. They were crushed by this place. Boo!!

Stay overall was okay. It was frustrating paying extra for a 3rd person and then having to go to front desk to get the bedding and then back down to front desk to get a 3rd towel and extra coffee pod for the morning.
Not a huge inconvenience however if you are paying extra for a 3rd person I would expect that fee to cover providing the necessary items to accommodate them.

Full breakfast advertised but cancelled without adequate reimbursement to go get a full breakfast elsewhere. They suggested they had a FULL SERVICE full breakfast, which was time consuming but we were denied breakfast because, as the server told us, they ran out of food (on a long weekend) because they had had more guests stay for breakfast than they expected. When I asked for a $50 deduction so we could go buy a ‘full breakfast’ for two, it was denied and we were only refunded $20, which wouldn’t provide a full breakfast for 2 anywhere. That Monday and the following day, we were given different reasons for being denied our full breakfast:
1) the actual reason - poor planning and insufficient food supplies to serve breakfast
2) the restaurant was newly opened and not yet managed to run properly - true
3) the staff was overwhelmed by the number of people requiring breakfast
4) the kitchen couldn’t keep up with the full service orders and had to shut down breakfast, true
5) later, a made-up excuse, a staff member was injured and had to be attended to, so the hotel had to stop offering breakfast that morning.

Instead of claiming to offer a full breakfast, the hotel would be better to offer a self serve type breakfast that required less staff and served guests promptly.
We paid a higher price for a hotel because it offered a full breakfast and we were disappointed. We would never stay there again if breakfast was full service and we have to HOPE TO GET our breakfast provided.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room could use some updating. There was also a stale odour in our room. The breakfast wasn’t great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool/slide.

Guests should be aware that they could get an adjoining room with strangers and they will be able to hear the guests in the other room as if they are in the same room as you. Also, I booked 3 months in advance and chose to pay at the property. The hotel fees went up so I had to pay more than the price I was given by Expedia. The breakfast is served at a restaurant so not your typical hotel buffet.

The room was clean enough - im very picky.
Hot tub and pool was perfect. Pool area very clean.
I recommend you bring your own pillow. The pillows in our room were over stuffed and impossible to sleep with. I used a folded towel 1/2 way through the night.

The location and building were great. Lots of parking. Clean rooms. Housekeeping not available if only 2 nights. No bath towels provided. Online early checkin is useless and waste of time as you still do the full checkin when you arrive. Staff not the friendliest. Restaurant was friendly, helpful, and great breakfast options.

Parking was easy, check in went smoothly, the waterslide was a lot of fun. The breakfast was only a plated dish and because it only opened at 630, we couldn't enjoy it and had to rush the first day to our event and completely missed the second day because we had to leave at 6.

Rooms were clean and comfy and the overall stay was okay. The check in staff in the evening was quite unpleasant. The lady serving breakfast and gentleman at check out were both pleasant to deal with so maybe some poor staffing for the evening shift. Overall for the price of the room the amenities and room was probably not worth what we paid compared to others.

Wasn’t impressed that I was charged $30 extra for checking in three hours early. I’ve never in my life had that happen too we were not given a senior discount like posted and three we were not given a big breakfast like we were promised we were given breakfast wraps that weren’t even hot and I think it had bologna in it or hot or something.

Overall a great location and the suites are nice and well maintained.

On the downside, check in is at 4:00 and only one person was at the desk when we checked in around 4:30. When we left the hotel around 5:30 other guests were waiting to be checked in. It’s not inexpensive to stay here so first impression was not good. The gentleman that checked me in was very professional and apologized for the long wait time. I had previously checked in on line.

My wife waited at the car while I was checking in and when I returned she said she was concerned something was wrong.

As well, I was assured the room we were assigned had a walk in shower. It was a tub shower.

The area where the microwave, fridge, coffee maker is located does not have any lighting. Why?

These are minor inconveniences but when you pay a premium, you expect as advertised.

I hope these observations are accepted as helpful hints. You asked.

The rooms and facility was over priced for a best western plus. I could not see anything "plus " about this hotel. I had better experience with other best western plus locations.

I would not go here again if not last resort.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel. The breakfasts were good and the breakfast staff was wonderful! The reception staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

My room was located near the ice machine, which was quite loud through the night, releasing ice with a very loud crashing sound.

My stay was from a Sunday to a Friday. There was a sign at the front desk stating that housekeeping would be every 2 days, which was fine.

As I was leaving early every morning and not returning until quite late in the evening each day, I expected the room to be cleaned as indicated, but arrived home each night with the room having not been cleaned. After the second night I had to flag down a housekeeper in the hall for fresh towels.

I finally had to mention to the front desk on Wednesday evening that my room had not been cleaned at all since I had arrived. The front desk staff brought towels to my room that night and promised that my room would be cleaned the next day, Thursday. When i arrived back at the hotel on Thursday night, the room had finally been cleaned.

It is not that I am a messy guest - but fresh towels, clean bedding and emptying the garbages on the promised days was expected.

Other than that - I was fine with staying at this location due to the convenience of where it was.

Only one towel set in the room booked for two people. Room was right outside the elevator so very noisy, property was not busy on a Tuesday night. Pillows were obnoxiously large horrible sleep. Forgot an item in room at check out was not allowed to go back into check, had to be a room cleaner? Not helpful at all. Would not stay again for that price. Disappointed overall
