Immerse yourself in the Peruvian Amazon with a minimum two-night stay at our exceptional lodge, nestled within a 40-hectare rainforest reserve. Enjoy comfortable accommodations amidst the vibrant wildlife, tranquil islands, and lagoons.
Our lodge is the perfect base for your eco-friendly Amazon adventure, offering trekking, birdwatching, and pink dolphin spotting. While we prioritize sustainability with limited electricity, we ensure your comfort and convenience throughout your stay.
To reach us, take a 90-minute domestic flight from Lima to Iquitos. From Iquitos Airport, we'll transfer you to the port for a 75-minute boat trip down the Amazon River to the lodge.
Our all-inclusive service covers meals, ground and boat transfers, and excursions. Contact us for a detailed itinerary.
With a stay at Heliconia Amazon River Lodge in Indiana, you'll be on a river, and 12.5 mi (20.1 km) from Indiana Town Plaza and 12.5 mi (20.2 km) from Indiana Port. This lodge is 15.2 mi (24.5 km) from Mazan Port.

This lodge provides exceptional service. The guides are patient, knowledgeable, and highly professional, offering us many unique and memorable experiences. All meals are included, featuring local specialties that are absolutely delicious. Although the menu is not very extensive, every dish is well prepared and enjoyable.
There is hot water for showers, which is already a luxury in the rainforest, though the water temperature can be somewhat unstable. Even so, taking a cool shower is always an option, and it feels very refreshing afterward.
The scenery is breathtaking. At night, there are many insects, but they usually do not enter the rooms. You may even find geckos and frogs visiting in the evening. Words cannot fully capture how magical this place is—you truly have to experience it yourself to understand.

We recently stayed at Heliconia, the staff were fantastic. Dick was an excellent guide, he took good care of us and ensured we saw lots of animals and flora. The food was good but felt a little repetitive after a couple of days. The lodge was comfortable, especially considering where it's located.

Wonderful Jungle retreat
Hi, I just been in the Lodge with my 15 year old son for 3 days and we loved it. The facilities were better than I expected and the food was very good. Betty who takes care of the place was very helpful and our guide Llyacko was so knowledgeable and he belongs to the Yagua tribe, so he knows the local customs and language and he is a biologist and a tour guide.
The pool was a blessing after walking in the jungle and getting as hot and sweaty as you can be. I highly recommend this Lodge to anyone that wants to have the jungle experience.

Goos lodge on the Amazon river
While the lodge, staff, guides and food are good, would recommend that you go further along the Amazon river to get a true experience. We did not see any animals bar frogs, ants and fauna / flora.
