Nice warm ambience!

Had a lovely stay in Trollhattan at the Kung Oscar. Staff was excellent and the property was lovely. Close to a beautiful town square with many food, drink, and shopping options, the hotel is a quiet oasis while travelling.

Dinner and breakfast were both included and both were excellent.

I’m very satisfied with the hotel overall. Great location, great staff, good food and clean room/bathroom. There is some room for improvement what concerns serving meals. Since there are few tables, booking a slot for breakfast and dinner would be the best option. There was one dinner I found food but no table to sit and another dinner I found a table to sit, but no food left on the buffet (it took around 30 min to get food).

Horrendously uncomfortable, avoid if possible.

A truly dreadful quality of comfort. The only thing that worked well was the lift. My room was opposite a noisy road with seemingly no noise insulation. Very hot and smelly room that needs the single window open to keep below 22 Celsius. The room was far smaller than shown on the pictures. The bed itself was smaller than advertised, the mattress support springs had completely worn away. Among the worst hotels I have visited in many years, even though it was expensive and looked good on the official pictures.

Central and with a fantastic service. The personell made us feel very welcome and it was like we were \"regular guests\" even it was our first stay (but not the last). Cozy clean rooms with a extra large comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb and there was free cake in the afternoon and FREE tasty dinner. Highly recommended!!!

My choice in the center of the city

Kung Oscar has a nice setup with free meals in the restaurant. I never got to try the meals for different reasons, but it looks really nice.

Trollhättan is a small town where one can literally walk anywhere within an hour or so. Perfectly located in the center of town, makes Kung Oscar a good starting point for whatever is planned. It's the hotel I prefer when I come back to the city.

The hotell consists of a newer part and an older part (I'm guessing a bit here), with a natural wear and tear accordingly. Thought the hotell is generally in good condition, I have found that a room in the newer section is a little bit cozier.

The hotel was overall very good, quiet and clean. The reception was very welcoming and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Room service was the best. As for the breakfast, it was excellent with many different options.
A small remark regarding the dinner: the food was good, but there was always only one main course with one type of meat. I think it is not so good, there should be two different types of meat to suit all tastes.

Hotell med bra läge i Trollhättan

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Den inkluderade middagen var sådär. Frukosten bra, fast omelett och bacon var kalla. Strawberry Hotels som detta hotell ingår i har ju slutat med riktigt smör och det tycker jag är väldigt dåligt. De serverar ohälsosamma Lätta och någon vegansk variant. Sparar på fel saker! Överlag så var vår vistelse toppen och jag rekommenderar detta hotell pga bra läge i Trollhättan.

Sentralt hotell

Fine rom. Rengjøring måtte varsles kl 10 dagen før, litt vanskelig når innsjekk er kl 15. Det var ok for vår del som skulle være 2 netter. De har liste med klokkeslett for frokosten og middag som alle måtte skrive seg på, helt ok det og. Lite parkeringsplasser, vi fikk beskjed om at det var fullt, noe vi så det ikke var. Men å parkere i gatene rundt hotellet var lettvint og billig med easypark app. Vi var fra fredag til søndag, flytter bilen en gang lørdag da de bare kan stå 1 døgn. Men gratis mange timer i helgen så vi betalte rundt 20 kr for hele helga.

Familjärt hotell.

Familjärt, lagom stort, läge nära centrum, otroligt bra frukost med rikliga urval, sköna sängar. I priset ingick en enkel och mycket god buffemiddag. Allt var mycket prisvärt och vi kommer att rekommendera hotellet till våra bekanta. Just den dagen vi övernattade var det festival och ungdomar i amerikanare med skränmusik hördes vid några tillfällen från gatan utanför hotellet.

Litet och trevligt hotell, trevlig personal. Mitt rum låg sist, längst ner i korridoren och det var tyst. Jag sov gott de två nätter jag bodde där. Kallt på rummet när jag kom dit, men det var bara att stänga av air condition så blev temperaturen perfekt. Dygnetruntöppen reception, vilket var nödvändigt för mig eftersom jag anlände sen kväll. Jättefin frukost. Jag är väldigt nöjd och kommer gärna tillbaka.

Jeg forventer en seng for to voksne mennesker i et dobbeltrom der det er oppgitt \"queen size bed\". Når senga er 140 cm med en 130 cm overmadrass, bør dette spesifiseres ved rombestilling slik at det er mulig å ta et informert valg.
Det er OK at det ikke rengjøres hver dag, men dette bør det opplyses om. Det bør også være grei tilgang på ekstra håndklær når dette ikke ligger tilgjengelig i treningsrommet.

En perfekt hotellupplevelse

Det var en helt fantastisk upplevelse. Först möttes vi av en mycket trevlig receptionist som visade oss till vårat rum då det låg i en sidobyggnad. Rummet var rent och snyggt med ett stort badrum. Jag skulle viljat ha ett badkar där så hade det toppat min vistelse. När vi bokade visste vi att det skulle serveras en enklare kvällsmat och eftermiddagsfika. Det var buffé på kvällen så vi åt oss väldigt mätta och det var väldigt gott. Efter en god natts sömn pga att vi kunde reglera värmen/kylan på rummet så åt vi en frukost som inte saknade något. När det var dags att checka var det också ett trevlig bemötande och ett trevlig avtackande för den här vistelse. Personalen kändes så genuint intresserade av sina kunder.

Kvällsmål

Maten på kvällen levde inte upp till förväntningarna. Mannen tyckte att den var 3+, själv tyckte jag den var 1- så därför ger vi som helhet för kvällsmaten betyg 2. Allt annat på hotellet var toppen.
