The Val Apartments offer guests the opportunity to stay in the center of Barcelona and enjoy first hand the majesty of Catalan modernism. Located a few meters from Paseo de Gracia, these apartments are a clear example of the heritage of modernism.

The apartments are characterized by their spaciousness and the characteristic details of their constructions, such as the height of their ceilings, the large porticoes, the moldings on the ceilings and the typical traditional mosaics called "trencadís" on the floors. Staying at Barcelona Apartment Val allows our guests to have free access to the swimming pool on the first floor of Suites Avenue (Paseo de Gracia, 83) 5 minutes away from the apartments.

We had a wonderful stay at Val Serviced Apartments. The apartment is beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed — it felt like a stylish home in the heart of the city.

The location is fantastic, just a stone’s throw from Passeig de Gràcia, which made it incredibly easy to walk to great restaurants, cafés, and many of Barcelona’s iconic sights.

Everything about the stay was smooth and enjoyable, and the apartment gave us the space and comfort that a hotel often cannot provide.

We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Barcelona.

I will stay again and recommend to my friends.

AC was making a noise. AC is needed to be fixed.
There was no check-in counter and we have to go the group hotel near by. That would be nice if we get notice about check-in procedure from the property before arrival. I realized later that on hotels.com property information specifys about it. Otherwise, great location, nice amenity.

, great kitchen with Loved the apartment- clean and modern. Beautiful space and the location was wonderful. You have to go to hotel at the corner to get checked in, but that was very easy. There is a nice sized elevator (for Europe). The bedroom was at the back of the apartment and was much quieter than the living room that is on the street side.

Location and clean rooms

Very good location, close to many attractions, metro station, train station, shopping and many good restaurants. The apartment 2 Bed 2 Bathroom with kitchen, comfortable and clean. The building is old but nicely remodeled. The bathrooms need some repair work but didn't bother us much.
Overall very happy with this apartment and will consider it first if come to Barcelona again.

The living room and bedrooms were nicely furnished with a comfortable convertible sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen lacked few necessary items such as tea kettle, cutting board or a kitchen knife. So cooking wasn’t really an option. The worst was the bathroom though. It did not have a heating or ventilation, so the bathroom becomes a sauna after each use.

Nice apartment but rude managemt

Very nice apartment in a great part of town, close to shops and restaurants. Check in was at Claris Hotel across the street(since there’s no front desk at the apartments) however no details were sent prior to check-in. The apartment was well equipped, clean with great bedding. We were a bit unhappy with the management, we had contacted them 48 hrs prior to our arrival, asking them to cancel our first night stay since were unable to get to Barcelona due to the France train strikes. The supervisor was not very sympathetic or accommodating and ultimately hung up on us. Not very profession!

Initial apartment unihabitable

On check in we were given Apt 1A. This room is not habitable. The sofa in the main room has no arms or back. It is a padded bench offering no comfort. The showers in both bathrooms pour water on the floor with no way of preventing it. A mouldy smell filled the en suite bathroom, likely as a result. The front door does not seal and the interior of the apartment can be seen and heard from the hallway. After much consternation and discussion with the front desk manager, including threatening to leave, we were finally re-assigned Apt 2A which was acceptable. During the discussion I was lied to by the front desk staff twice. I was first told that there were no other rooms available (which of course there were) and then that the padded seating in all the apartments had no back or arms (not only did 2A have a proper sofa, but the ad on Expedia shows it). Although the new room was an improvement, it was in real need of updating as well. The furniture was worn, walls needed painting, many lights were were non-functional.
The room change took up a significant portion of our day necessitating re-packing, moving and being present at 3 PM. We were not offered any compensation for our trouble.
Not a good reflection of Derby Hotels.

Pros: The location is perfect, everything you need is a few steps away: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores all within one block. Paseo de Gracia is a couple of blocks away. The apartment was very comfortable. Good beds, pillows. Quiet. Good selection of local tv channels/cable. Hotel Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Cons: The clothes dryer did not work (but they did offer to dry the clothes at the hotel, since it was Easter Sunday & Monday holidays). A box of Kleenex in the bathroom would be nice, and papel towels to clean up (the small microfiber is not sufficient). Telephone did not work properly, could not dial out, other party could not hear me. Beautiful tile flooring needs to be cleaned/polished, some of the tiles are loose and it looks very dirty in parts.

I would definitely stay there again.

Not the best overall experience

We weren't able to check in to our room until 3 hours past check in time listed, the staff at the hotel were rude and continued to mislead us on how long the room would take to be ready \"10\" minutes was the time frame provided each time we asked. 3 hours later and we were finally checked in. Would never stay here again!!!!!!! Upon every request for anything we had to call more than once and then actually walk over to the hotel desk (located in another building) to retrieve ourselves.

Great apartment, great location.

Great city centre location but be prepared for city traffic noise but it is liveable. Located by a main shopping area with plenty of places to eat and on a road with constant passing taxis. The second bed is a sofa bed but not really suitable for 2 guests so if you have small children they will probably end up in the bedroom as the sofa bed and the living room are not really suitable for younger children to sleep, ok for teenagers. There is no swimming pool on site which is a little misleading in description of apartment.

Appartment was clean and ok. A little dark and was dissapointed that one of us had to sleep in the main living room and a hard leaher sofa. As it stated 2 Bedrooms we would have like to have to beds in each. No air con and as on a main road to noisy to have windows open though we had 2 fans.

Hotel that we checked into befor going over to appartment was lovey. It was good we could use the roof top Pool, though drinks a bit expensive.

The apartment is perfectly located at the heart of the shopping street! Which there’s plenty of restaurants, pharmacies and groceries nearby almost on every corner. We were a group of four friends and the staff at Hotel Claris are super helpful and gave us 5* service. The apartment itself is very big, its an old vibe high ceiling apartment with a modern touch, instagrammable balconies is a huge plus!!
I loved everything and I definitely recomment this place specially on winter time like december when the weather is perfect and less crowded. I would love to comeback and stay here again next time.

We loved everything about this apartment!

Perfect location, nice decor, quiet at night. There was a lot of good restaurants and bars in this neighborhood. Easy check in at Claris hotel across the Street. We highly recommend this apartment - We had a two bedroom executive apartment.

Hermoso departamento con detalles descuidados

El departamento es lindísimo y perfectamente ubicado, pero le falta cariño. La cocina pobremente equipada, las ventanas no se pueden abrir porque están pintadas por encima, el baño desprendía olor y nunca vinieron a repararlo. Una pena, porque ajustando algunos detalles sería perfecto.

Nous avons apprécié l’appartement très vaste et le calme car il donnait côté cour. Sa proximité du Passeig de Gràcia avec l’accès au train et au métro était un plus.
Un petit bémol pour la première partie de l.appartement qui était sombre, notamment la cuisine. Mais le salon et la chambre principale avaient de grande baie vitrée.

화장실 수리 좀 하셔야 할듯요

작년 6월 후기에 1A방에대한 컴플레인이 있는데 제가 그방에 배정되었습니다. 거실크고 더블배드방에 싱글배드방 방은괜찮았고 거실소파배드에서 자는 사람은 시끄러울수있어요. 차소음이 심해요. 더블룸방 메인 화장실에 욕조가있는데 배관이 문제가있는지 바닥에 물이 새서 흥건하게 고여서 수리요청을했지만 물만 닦아주고 갔어요. 아주작은 샤워룸 있는 화장실을 4명이서 쓰느냐 힘들었습니다. 다른방은 다 찼고요. 1A방만 이런건지 궁금하네요. ㅡㅡ

Heerlijk groot en centraal

Groot appartement met bij elke slaapkamer een douche en wc. Centraal gelegen. Ramblas en Sagrada Familia op loopafstand. Veel restaurants in de buurt. Als je zelf wil koken (maar waarom zou je) is de keuken zeer geschikt. Vaatwasser, oven magnetron en nespresso-apparaat voorzien je van gemak. Wij zullen dit appartement een volgende keer zeker weer nemen.

처음에 도착했는데 건물에 로비가 없어서 당황했어요. 검색해보니 가까운 Claris Hotel에서 체크인을 하더군요. 미리 메일로 안내를 해주시면 좋았겠다 생각이 들었는데 그거 말고는 모두 만족스러웠어요-
저희는 방 3개 짜리에 묶었는데 주방, 큰 식탁, TV 보는 곳 모두 따로 있고, 화장실도 3개여서 편리했어요. 가격대비 정말 훌륭합니다.
아파트인데 요청하지 않아도 2일에 한번 꼴로 싹 청소해주시더라구요.
위치도 정말 좋아요. Gracia 역에서 가까워서 바르셀로나 어디든 가기에 편리^^
만족스러운 숙박이었습니다.

立地がよく快適

立地がよく買い物や食事、観光には困りませんでした。サクラダファミリアへは徒歩では遠いのでバスを使いました。チェックインは1ブロック離れた交差点角のホテルロビーで、15分以内ならホテル前に駐車可能でした。タオルもたくさんあるので3日に一度の清掃でしたがかえって気楽でした。エレベーター、廊下が少し狭くベビーカーのある我々は他の宿泊者がいた場合、譲り合いとなりました。食器、カトラリー、調理器具はひととおり常備されてます。
