We stayed one night at Gradiali in Palanga with our toddler and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were genuinely friendly and warm. Every interaction felt pleasant and welcoming and that truly made a difference.

Check in was very busy with a long line and it did not quite feel like a 4.5 star spa experience at that moment. It felt more like a conveyor of arrivals. Maybe staggered check in times could help avoid so many guests arriving at once and make the experience feel calmer from the start.

The only area that was not quite what we expected was the spa and pool zone. We went on a Wednesday evening thinking it might be quieter but it was very crowded. There was loud music playing and a class happening in the pool that could be heard throughout the entire area so everyone had to listen to it. For me a spa is a place to relax and unwind and unfortunately it did not feel very relaxing that evening. It felt more like a water park atmosphere.

There is also a pizza place in the middle of the spa area. I understand it is probably meant to be convenient and family friendly but for me personally a fast food spot in the middle of a spa felt slightly off brand.

Breakfast was average but there were plenty of options so perhaps I just did not choose the right combinations.

On a very positive note, my husband had a Thai massage and he absolutely loved it. Huge compliments to the therapist as it was a real highlight of our stay.

Mixed reviews

Public area were fabulous but the room was tired and in need of a facelift. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was excellent - friendly and informative. That was not the case in the morning when we asked for a taxi to the airport - offhand and unhelpful.

It's my second time staying at this hotel. All superb apart from limited access to their pool/spa (which is fab!) - the new rule that came into place mid-July yet they failed to mention when advertising their rooms. As a returning customer with young family I would have liked to know this in advance. Hence four stars rating.

This place is great! Guests can enjoy SPA, 4 different Saunas,Jacuzzi and Swimming pools!
The breakfast is superb, lots of choices and very delicious. 5* star for the breakfast!

In general, we really liked this hotel, despite the fact that the room was not ready by 15.00, but we waited. When leaving, we were given an invoice without a receipt and we paid, after I checked and they counted one of the treatments that I did not do. We asked for a refund, for which we were told to go to the spa, at the spa we were told back to the reception... at the reception they gave us to fill out a form where there was no bank account, but the address and many other things had to be filed, To which we turned around and left, we didn’t have time for that. To take money it was quick but refund it take a time and for there fault. Be careful. And check your bill before paying.

We have stayed many times , but this time was not as good, we had a few problems with the room, one of the problems was the fridge which was very loud and kept us awake, when we reported it they told us they are a bit loud andvthey could turn it off, we said that was no good as we had things in it, in the end they offered us another room, and the fridge in that room was fine, but the staff this time did not seem very happy normaly they are happy and cant do enough for you,
Also this time it was very dusty but that is because they are doing a lot of building work and must be expected,
We will go back again, because in the past it has always been very good, may be this was just a one off, so lets hope everything is back to normal when we go again in the summer

Nice hotel outside town - lacking some amenities

Hotel little out of town and not super convenient, but close to nice beach. Clean rooms but nothing in mini bar, No room service/ food or store open in the evening. Swimming pool and sauna advertised but only open in the evening for a few hours.

I know you can’t really expect much from such a small city but it’s 2019 and to have no decent vegetarian/vegan food on any of the menus (restaurant, buffet) is pretty sad. It’s a resort city attracting many tourists each year, not just Lithuanian seniors who don’t even know what’s a ‘vegetarian’. Also, kinda annoying the pool area is open only for 4hours a day which leaves all the hotel residents to try and squeeze in that small area in such a short period of time. We couldn’t use the sauna for quite some time because it was overcrowded, same goes to the pool. I’ve expected quite a high standard having paid 120€ a night at a junior suite which turned out to be very old looking (and not in a cute 80s way) with an old carpet and all that brown soviet furniture. Mini bar had no snacks either, which I’ve never experienced in a hotel. After reading the reviews and paying quite an amount, I thought we’ll come to a super nice place but my expectations were clearly too high. But not even sure if anything better can be found in Palanga

Surprizingly relaxed stay

Clean, friendly, quiet hotel with good spa facilities, I met a friend had a few hours to kill and had some very reasonably priced treatments at the spa, the spa has modern facilities and I recommend the head, neck and pressure bath treatments. They also have cheap hair laser treatments if you interested

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, rundum Wald und ca 500 m zum Meer, Spa und Massage hervorragend, sonst postsowjetisch, verstaubt und unfreundlich. Alle Beschriftungen nur auf Litauisch, Mitarbeiter sprechen größtenteils kein Englisch, Frühstück muss selbst abserviert werden, im Badezimmer keine Ablage, nicht einmal Zahnputzbecher, Handtücher winzig und zerschlissen, Bettzeug wird nicht gewechselt.

Für eine Rehaeinrichtung wirklich gut.

Sehr gutes Hotel in toller Lage. Anwendungen gut wenn auch preislich für Litauen am oberen Ende. Buffet war völlig ausreichend. Terrasse am Dach ein Traum. Alles in allem eher eine Rehaeinrichtung denn ein Hotel aber für uns als Familie wirklich gut.

Viesnīca atrodas tālu no Palangas centra, tāpēc lietainā laikā (kā mums gadījās) tur maz iespēju, ko darīt - pirts, džakuzi, baseins. Pēc spa apmeklējuma, kaut arī vēl strādāja restorāns, nebija iespējams paēst vakariņas un iedzert vīnu, jo darbiniece gribēja ātrāk doties mājās.

Godt hotel belligende tæt på på kysten.

Til forretningsrejse, var hotellet super fint. Maden var ok, værelset stort og spa området rent og vel-vedligeholdt.
Jacuzzi'en var ikke varm nok, men det er alt jeg har at udsætte på hotellet.

sehr ruhig, schöne lage, in der nähe Strand. Erste was uns gestört hat, dass wir wie in \"Krankenhaus\" angekommen sind, da sehr viele \"kranke\" Gäste getroffen haben, die da Reha machen. Als Reha - Kur Klinik ist perfekt. Sonst war alles sehr schön. Zimmer frisch renoviert.

Hotel nuovo, terminato da poco. Camere molto spaziose e pulite. Un po’ lontano dal centro ma se si ha la macchina, centro del paese raggiungibile in 7 minuti. Piscina con vasca idromassaggio, palestra ed area spa. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Det var en skuffelse at komme til et hotel i den prisklasse og blive mødt af et uprofessionelt personale med meget ringe eller ingen sprogkundskaber udover litauisk og russisk. Drink- og menukortet var begrænset og kedeligt. Gæsterne var for de flestes vedkommende på rekreation efter sygdom. Hotellet kan absolut ikke anbefales.

Not for off season or business travelers?

Good hotel but perhaps not the best option off-season. The kitchen close as early as 8 pm, but even before that I was denied ordering a warm meal...
A couple I met also told me they were promised a sea view from their traveling agency. But you can only see trees, that for sure.
So for business travelelers or off-season maybe not that great.
Not really walking distance to the city center either.
