Our key card allowed us into our room, but we soon discovered there was no power in the room so nothing worked. The desk attendant moved quickly to pack and move us to another room on another floor. For two people on a queen bed in the new room there was only one single comforter that we shared. I would stay here again, but now we know what to verify.

4 night stay - take own drinking water!

Overall impressions of the hotel had the wow factor. The check in was straight forward, although the staff could have learned a smile! The room was really nice although no tea/coffee facilities. We were given 1 small carton of water. There was an event going on in the restaurant/bar area on the Thursday evening so we weren't able to go to the bar area, we were stopped by the front of house going through to buy water which was frustrating. I needed to take tablets too! When we mentioned this to the lady at the bar on Saturday evening, she gave us a bottle of water on the house but was surprised that we weren't given drinking water each night of our stay.

Still have curtains off walls tv not working and reception said they’d sort it but didn’t/couldnt but no communication explanation etc

First time to stay here for a night, and would definitely recommend. The friendly staff informed us on our check-in that it’s live jazz night and it could be a little loud in the evening. But hey, it’s indeed a beautiful “noise” we could enjoy from our balcony. :)

Standard room using Tesco vouchers as before but nets in bad condition numerous holes and tears receptionist Max upgraded us and had lovely room although hotel is being updated there are still elements that need to be addressed for guests
Sauna is good needs to be booked an hour in advance but no water provided in bottles by which time it’s too late to go and ask
A few extra items in reception as only had one toothbrush left for us but all staff are very efficient and friendly
Good prices on food and beverages and Pascal on the bar very happy to make a cocktail he’d never made before
Will always go back and look forward to the finished upgrade of Rilano

We checked in after hours, and that was a little bit tricky. There's no one at reception after 10 o'clock at night, but the people that helped us on the phone were super helpful. There's an underground parking garage that you have to pay for, but it's really nice and convenient. The room was great and spacious And we liked that there was a little fridge as well.

Hotel location is good. Staff is very good. The room design is somewhat strange they have gone through the effort of making an open plan bathroom which means there is shower cubicle, and toilet cubicle whereas the sink basin is attached to the desk in the room. When you are sharing room with family then this can be extremely awkward. I this this is silly. Secondly there was a £15 charge for parking overnight I wasn’t informed of when booking the room.

Great option for Kleve

Great location and hotel if you're looking for a place in Kleve. We've stayed here before and really enjoyed the hotel, however, this time the room wasn't as clean as one would expect. We had to request someone come in and thoroughly clean the room after we arrived because it had a foul smell. Once they did that, the smell disappeared.

Stayed here several times. Always enjoyable.

Rooms spacious and clean with a huge shower. Good air conditioning and drinks in fridge for 1 Euro each so no rip off.

Hotel has a very nice terrace where you can sit and have a drink or a meal. Comfortable sofas with umbrellas for shade.

Bbq nights offer a buffet dinner but the restaurant does very good food. Would recommend the Rilano burger.

Hotel has its own parking underground, it is a bit pricey at 13 Euro / night but you can park locally for less.

All in all a good hotel that I keep returning to.

There was no one at the front desk when I checked in. The front desk should always be attended.
The room had a mechanism that required the key card to be in a slot for the air conditioning to work. So, when I went out for dinner, I came back to a room that was way too hot.

Third stay this year as family live in kleve and tried three different rooms all spotlessly clean the budget rooms are high quality but the higher priced rooms include coffee machine
Breakfast is available slightly to high price when it's a short walk to lovely cafe/shops much cheaper

Good location, in the central of the Kleve, shopping area and the Kleve train station are within 5 minutes walk. Room is spacious and modern deco, though the shower room is a bit small and water is easily to leak out. Extreamly nice staff and especially the receptionist manager Miss Maryke Van Marrewijk, help me with the 10 nights stay on room request and booking arrangments...etc. Gym is small, breakfast is OK, but the restaurant below is with good vibe and tasty. Free WIFI is not stable. But overall, nice hotel to stay.

Modern luxury hotel in the city center

Very good location, convenient for everything and any kind of activity in the city. Great professional staff - day and night. Comfort rooms with modern concept of design. Nice beds, hard enough for people with spine problems. Excellent shower. Good parking garage (but expensive!).

Only one disadvantage - serious to my mind: paid Internet. In our time it's so obsolete - to pay for Wi-Fi in the hotel! Hotel advertising tells you - it's free. But in reality only 100 MB is free, and after that you have to pay. Usually 100 MB is not sufficient even for email check, so for me it's paid Internet and not free. All other hotels in the city provide real free Wi-Fi.

Great hotel near to all amenities

one of the best welcomes I've ever had when checking in to a hotel. Elena was the most professional and helpful receptionist and at the same time made me feel instantly relaxed. The facilities are excellent, especially the sauna. Breakfast was delicious with a choice for everyone with dietary restrictions. There was no noise to be heard from other rooms due to the soundproofing and the position of the hotel meantbit was a two minute walk to town. Great restaurants and bars in Kleve. Will be staying again

No one on reception when we arrived.....I had to walk around to the restaurant then to an office with a closed door before someone came out of the office to help. We were told when checking-in that the Garage was 12 euros per day even for my motorcycle...yet I had checked this with a phone call prior to making a booking and I was told there was safe parking under the Hotel although a fee was never mentioned. Had I known I would not have booked. In the end I was not charged but two receptionists had insisted I pay, but the third said there was no charge for a motorcycle....
The hotel booking site clearly states that there is free WiFi included in the room booking....however only the first 100mb is free after which there are charges....this should be much clearer in my view as this would also have influenced whether I would have stayed at this hotel.

There was not real \"free\" Wifi

Very nice hotel...however the \"free\" wifi advertised is not true. The hotel offers you 100MB....and on this moderns days, that is completely absurd. There are options to buy more, but the maximum you can get is 1GB during the period of your stay.
Absurd, to say the least. Also the free mini-bar is composed of the bare minimum, water a coca-cola.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Very comfortable. My minimal complaint was we couldn't turn the AC on, granted it was October but I like the room cold to sleep, so we opened the window but then a lot of street noise, light and smoke coming into the room. It would be nice if breakfast and internet were included in the room price 15 Euros/per person and 3 Euros respectively) and the breakfast were a little less pricey. (Three of us ate dinner across the street with drinks for less than 30 Euros!)

Maybe they were just having a bad day?

Rooms absolutely freezing and heating wouldn't go above a fixed temp set by the hotel. Ponderous and painfully slow reception staff. Room was dirty, empty shampoo bottles, used towels, boxes of rubbish. Reception called not to say sorry, but insist that I move....I stayed put. Outlined my disappointment at checkout and all I got was \"thanks you\"!

1. Die Bettwäsche wurde nicht gewechselt. Betten wurden zwar gemacht, aber die Wäsche blieb über den gesamten Aufenthalt die selbe.
2. Leider war das Bett extrem weich.
3. Das Frühstücksangebot könnte verbessert werden. Die Wurst wirkte wie vom Discounter und die warmen Speisen waren leider jeden Tag kalt. Und es fiel dem Personal leider oft nicht auf, wenn z. B. die Milch leer war oder die Kaffeeautomaten entleert werden mussten.
4. Die Müllbeutel wurden zwar geleert, aber leider sind dabei Dinge herausgefallen, die dann im Zimmer verteilt lagen.

Das Personal selbst war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Servicekräfte am Empfang sehr Wortkarg, nicht besonders freundlich und allgemeine Informationen werden dem Gast nicht automatisch mitgeteilt. Das Zimmer hat alles was es braucht. Für die Sauberkeit bekommt das Hotel ganz klar Punkteabzug. Deutliche Flecken am Mobiliar sowie Gardinen und geputzt wurde leider auch nicht sehr gründlich. Flecken auf dem Tisch, der gläsernen Dusche und dem Waschbecken. Nach dem Duschen gab es nicht zum 1.Mal eine Wasserlache, so dass der Boden schon länger kaputt ist. Die Betten fühlten sich durchgelegen an. Ansonsten ist es ein ruhiges Hotel mit hervorragendem Frühstück. Positiv ist die Lage direkt in der Innenstadt.

Kleine douche. Douche niet afgescheiden van woon/slaap gedeelte. Ze hadden beter een scheidings wand langs de wastafel kunnen plaatsen waardoor de doucheruimte apart is.
Buitenruimte bestrating niet compleet/kapot.
Bij het ontbijt smerig bestek en de kommen voor de yoghurt zat nog eten aangekoekt.

Hotel heeft goede ligging vlakbij het centrum.

Not often you find a hotel that let's you bring a dog for free. Check the silence or clean door hangers (cute!)
Nice hotel and perfect location for a day of shopping and enjoying the city life.
Restaurant seemed nice and affordable too, but we don't m didn't test it.
Yes parking garage is 15€ for the night... but alternative parking close by is ample available cheaper or free.
EV charger for 2 cars right at the entrance.
If needing a stay in that area again we would return.

Heerlijk hotel in het centrum

Het was voor mij de 1e keer in Kleve en gewoon om even uit mijn eigen omgeving weg te zijn.
Op de kamer niets aan te merken.
De prijs van het ontbijt was voor Europese maatstaven niet te duur en het was ook een goed ontbijt met genoeg keuze.
Ik geen nergens 5 sterren voor omdat perfectie alleen in theorie bestaat.
Ik zou wel 4,5 ster geven, als dat kon.
Er is één onderwerp waar ik wel 5 sterren voor gegeven heb en dat heb ik expres gedaan: ik word namelijk schijtziek van de vraag milieuvriendelijk.
Haal dat a.u.b. weg uit de beoordeling.
Dit is niet ten nadele van het hotel maar zo’n wake argument

Even wennen aan een kamer zonder aparte badkamer. Want zowel douche als wastafel zijn in de kamer zelf. Gelukkig wel het toilet achter een deur! Toilet was overigens vrij smerig.
