Dating from 1338, the Torre de Palma Wine Hotel was born in 2014. Inspired by the lifestyle of the distinguished Basilii family (former inhabitants of the nearby Torre de Palma Roman ruins), and Alentejo traditions, the hotel was conceived to be your home in this region of southern Portugal.
Torre de Palma Wine Hotel is a 5-star project devoted to Alentejo wine and to offering genuine experiences. It features the typical Alentejo architecture: white-washed walls and inviting, comfortable rooms.
The 19 rooms and suites boast elegant interiors that combine contemporary design with traditional pieces, in perfect harmony with the natural surroundings. It includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, restaurant and bar.
As well as these facilities, the hotel offers a screening room, a chapel, horse riding arena, organic vegetable garden, orchard, vine, a little olive grove, a small forest, a store with regional products and private parking. This charm hotel at the heart of this wine region would not exist without its wine production and wine tourism.

Torre de Palma Wine Hotel was the most perfect romantic get away to celebrate our Anniversary! We were greeted with a rooftop welcome drink, and participated in their “wine blending course” with Duarte- it was fabulous! As we were there during harvest season he offered us to “stomp grapes” the next day- bucket list! As for the culinary experience- it was Devine! Michelin Star worthy! We had a private dinner and then took part in the “gastronomic experience” for lunch the next day- incredible!! We were presented with a home made beautiful chocolate cake for our anniversary ❤️.. it was perfection .. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous hotel in years to come!

Torre del Palma was incredible. Their service was amazing, we showed quite late and they even offered to get food ready for us at midnight in case we hadn’t had time to eat from the airport (Maria at the front desk - lovely!). The rooms were amazing, clean, beautiful design. The history is very cool as well. We did all the extra activities (horse riding, picnic, massages, wine tasting) everything was absolutely amazing. The pool was beautiful. They also do a welcome drink and watching sunset from the tower to which we followed with a beautiful meal at the restaurant. Can’t say enough good things about our time here!

The hotel room is flashy, but uncomfortable. No table, only one chair and a day bed. The people above us stomped the floor until late in the night. Guests firing fireworks at 12.30am.

After a week of driving around Portugal this was a great place to stop and chill out in a bit luxury. Considering it's location in the middle of nowhere, it was quite delightful.

Beautiful and large property away from it all. Big rooms, though the baths are form over function. Showing just a bit of wear, though overall very impressive. Wonderful breakfasts and dinner. Great pool.

Direkt vid ankomst kände vi av lungnet som omgav platsen. Personalen hälsade välkomna, lastade av vårt bagage och parkerade sedan bilen åt oss. Vi passade på att äta lunch i hotelletsresturang Basil. Lunchen var mycket vällagad med färska, när producerade råvaror. Vi hade hyrt Master Suite och välkomnade efter lunch med en flaska av gårdens vin och en fruktbricka.
Det finns mycekt att säga om dena magiska plats, missa inte att se soldnedgången i tornet med ett glas vin, en guidad tur av vinproduktion (med vin provning) samt varför inte sitta ute på natten och se upp mot ej stjärnklarhinmle ackompanjerat av natten s djurliv. Vistelsen var mycket trevlig och romantisk, jag önskade dock att resturangen skulle ha fler vegetariska alternativ.

Jag har bara positiva saker att säga! Otroligt fint hotell i vacker omgivning i vinodlingar. Ett litet hotell där alla rum är personligt designade. Vårat rum var fantastiskt med en väldigt skön säng, bra AC och fräscht badrum. Personalen var trevlig och service-minded. Lugn, lyxig stämning. Fina pooler båda inomhus och utomhus. Inomhus finns jacuzzi och bastu. De erbjuder även spa (jag fick en underbar massage!) och det finns aktiviteter som ridning och cykling mot extra kostnad. Frukost ingår och den var väldigt bra med kall buffé och varma rätter à la carte. Restaurangen på hotellet var superbra och prisvärd, både för mig som äter vegetariskt och min pojkvän som älskar kött. Rekommenderar det här hotellet otroligt varmt!

Lever inte upp till förväntningarna
Ett hotell som utger sig för att vara proffs på matlagning måste ha bättre management i restaurangen. Vi lämnade restaurangen efter att ha väntat på maten i 1,5 timmar, allt medan hotellchefen sitter i baren, kökschefen står och tar kort på sin mat och de stackars servitörerna vet inte vad de ska säga till gästerna som väntar. Fint hotell, men inte så mycket intressant att göra i staden.

Uma pérola no Alentejo
Local aprazível, sossegado numa propriedade excelente que inclui uma horta biológica, vinhas e cavalos. Edifício original bem recuperado com uma mistura de antigo e moderno, decoração primorosa, elegante com numerosas peças da Vista Alegre e vários recantos a disfrutar. Pôr do sol visto do cimo da torre é imperdível, acompanhado de um bom copo de vinho da casa, cortesia do Hotel.Quartos amplos e confortáveis. Equipa jovem, cordial e diligente. Pequeno almoço óptimo com alguns pratos a encomendar à carta, elaborados com requinte e sem custos extras.

Estive uma noite na Torre de Palma, e meu grande arrependimento foi não ter ficado mais. Tudo é excepcionalmente bom neste hotel: as instalações, a equipe, o conforto e a limpeza dos quartos, a comida, enfim, trata-se de um hotel com H maiúsculo. Destaque para o atendimento do Vasco (restaurante) e do André (recepcão).
