I stayed at the hotel at a really difficult time. My best friend was palliative and I went to be with him. I have a scent and animal allergy so I called ahead. The staff were so incredibly kind and wanted to ensure I had a safe quiet spot. They upgraded me from a king to a king suite at no extra cost and the room was 100% scent free. And the staff on the desk were warm and kind. I can not say thank you loudly enough. It was wonderful.

Room was nice and clean. Large tv. Receptionist was nice. Only issue, booked with a debit/ mastercard online, but could not use the same card at desk for damage deposit. Required a credit only card. MC or Visa. If card was good enough to book, it should be set up to also handle damage deposits. Other than that, all good!

I didn’t have breakfast so I cannot comment weather it was good or not. The staff were excellent, they were helpful, the rooms and property were clean, the bar closed at 9 which was a bit early so we didn’t get to see it as we were late getting back to the hotel. We had an enjoyable stay.

Spacious room. Clean, comfortable rooms. Pillows are on the firmer side and no variety within the room. We did not ask reception if softer pillows were available. Friendly reception and a standard 1pm checkout (bonus). Onsite bar and resturant. Service was great; food is underwhelming. Good value for money. I would recommend and stay again.

Just before midnight someone with the key card to our room opened the door. I happened to be up still and was standing close to the door so I closed it immediately and phoned the front desk to let them know. They said it was the security guard who goes around at night to check the unoccupied rooms. Well they ought to be able to give him an updated account of which rooms are really occupied or not. Otherwise our stay was pleasant.

It was a very cozy stay. Staff was all very frienly. The cleaning staff were also excellent. Breakfast is not included, it is extra. Good place for breakfast though is the restaurant thats directly in the hotel. They also serve dinner.

The staff were not warm and friendly, as hoped. The bar/restaurant was not opened. We book vacation stays specifically with this as a requirement for us, whenever possible. this was a huge disappointment. The closest bar, in walking distance, was a dump. A big disappointment. The room, however, was really really nice.

Booked alittle weekend getaway with my wife. Never been to Stephenville, so why not. Booked a room with a fridge and microwave... atleast that way we could get some food, got to the hotel.. check in was good and fast... got to the room and no microwave, we never complained about it as we never brought anything with us...but if you are offering a room with a microwave there should be one there...the hotel is in a good location, close to shopping and restaurants, over all we had a good trip..

The hotel was lovely, we checked in very late, 3:30 am after getting off the ferry. The room was standard, beds comfortable and room was clean. We had an issue at 9am when someone knocked on our door and tried to open it, fortunately we had the security bar across and they couldn’t get it. It was extremely unsettling, they didn’t close the door after opening it. We reported it to the desk and she figured it was housekeeping who had mistakenly tried to clean the wrong room, which is fair enough, mistakes happen, but we did end up paying over $200 for about 5 hours sleep, I would have thought we would have gotten some type of compensation, but none was offered, we checked out more tired than when we arrived.
