The view was beautiful, the room was spacious, and the front desk staff were super friendly and kind.

Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was a complete disappointment. The moment we walked in, the bald man working there seemed unhappy to see us and immediately told us we needed a reservation. When we checked in earlier, we had asked about this and were told no reservation was required since the restaurant is for hotel guests only.

We waited far too long for our food. By the time it arrived, it was already cold. The “ginger chicken” literally had pieces of raw, unpeeled ginger in it, and my salad never even arrived. A simple salad should not take that long to prepare, yet it never came at all.

The poor service and unprofessional attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. The front desk kindly sent two desserts to our room afterward, which was a thoughtful gesture, but it didn’t make up for the terrible dining experience.

If you stay here, I highly recommend eating somewhere else instead of the hotel restaurant.

Upon arrival front desk lady was not very nice , then man that took us to room was extremely rude and pointed to room and didn’t even offer to help my wife with her 2 bags - didn’t show anything in room and just pointed and walked away

Not good enough, Even for a 3-star

The hotell is OK I guess. No wifi, the bathroom could be cleaner and the bed was terrible. Other than that the hotell is okei becouse of the fant that the poolside and Malin building is in good shape, other than that i would have given it 2/10. Overall I wouldnt recomend it unfortunatelly.

Quiet and peaceful hotel in lovely surroundings.

Quiet hotel suitable for older couples or families. On top of a hill, so lovely views of surrounding countryside and coastline. Car needed as it is a lengthy climb out of town, although there is an adjacent bus stop. Staff helpful and friendly, conversing well in English, and buffet breakfast perfectly adequate to start the day. Nice clean swimming pool, again with lovely views, but plenty of steps to rooms and pool. Enjoyed our stay (2nd), and plan to return to this lovely unspoilt area of Sardinia - and hopefully be again greeted at reception by Cinzia's welcoming smile!

Friendly hotel but only 2 star.

This hotel was perfectly adequate for our trip to Sardinia, we knew we would be out and about all day and didnt want to pay too much. The ladies behind the reception desk were charming and helpful and the hotel was quiet with lovely sea views as it was perched up on the hill a couple of miles outside Cannigione.
The downsides were the nightly invasion of a coachload of tourists who ate all the buffet breakfast like a swarm of locusts, the hotel obviously relies on this late season business and the breakfast was far too basic, even if there had of been anything much left.
The beds were rock hard and the shower was not big enough to swing a cat in, with very poor water pressure, the bathroom and bedroom were very clean though.
The pool was nice but the surrounding area was run down, it could have been made far more appealing with some pots of geraniums and less utilitarian sunbeds.
This could be a great little hotel but it need to raise its game, it would be worth doing.

This is a nice hotel, with a great view and a very competitive price. The front desk speaks little English, and we speak little Italian, yet we were always able to get help if we needed it. Our shower hose broke and they fixed very quickly.
There are a few things the hotel could improve on: The pool is closed from 1600 to 1800 every day for cleaning – buy one of the vacuum hose cleaners that are autonomous, run it at night and let people enjoy the pool during the day. The GPS coordinates are not on the site, and the ones on Google Maps are wrong. The correct GPS Coordinates are 41.11734N, 009.42313E. We had a car so we were not tied to shuttle. The hotel website says they are on shuttle route, we saw shuttle in town but did not see it at the motel. Rooms were pretty standard for Europe. Not large, shower stall very small, but all in all this hotel was much less per night than the hotels closer to the beach, had a great pool with a great view from the pool, and friendly staff.

Dramatically needs restoration - great view

The service at the hotel is outstanding. Very service minded and helpful people. The location is 5 km out of the city centre, great view and quiet surroundings.

But the hotel needs to restoration. Everything is +10 years old. The hotel is highly priced from that perspective.

Lovely friendly hotel with the best views!

Hotel Micalosu is a really friendly hotel. Set out on the hillside with beautiful views to the sea, it makes for the perfect location for a relaxing break. The staff were always ready to help, offering advice, making phone calls on our behalf for information (such as local trips, restaurants and scooter hire) and giving us lifts to and from the beach. The hotel has a homely 'village' feel, a great pool with beautiful views along the coast and the advantage of being up a hill and so a bit cooler with a breeze on scorching hot days. Most visitors had a car which is an advantage but not a necessity...as long as you don't mind a 25 minute walk in to Cannigione (it is a steep climb!), which we didn't, but it won't suit everyone! I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Micalosu and the area to couples, families and solo travellers alike - I would love to go back.

Fantastisk hyggelig sted, veldig autentisk Italiensk.
veldig bra frokost og kort og kjøre til alt. litt luftigere på toppen av fjellet som gir litt mere luft på varme dager.

Vi ble fire ekstra netter, da vi hadde planlagt og bo på et hotell til.

Hotel Micalosu, uma ótima opção !

O hotel fica em Cannigione, bem no centro da Costa Esmeralda, estando nele acessamos de carro com facilidade (20 a 30 minutos) todas as praias da costa. O hotel é familiar e todos são simpáticos e prestativos. O café da manhã é fantástico, muitas opções gostosas num terraço com uma vista incrível! O quarto em que ficamos era pequeno, porém, como raramente estávamos nele, ficou tudo bem. A vila também é gostosa para jantar e passear a noite. Recomendo muito e voltaria com certeza!

Super Hôtel magnifique vue

Nous sommes arrives et nous avons ete acceuillis par Giovanni. Il nous a expliqué qu il y avait un problème avec notre réservation. En effet, nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes mais l hotel n a pas de chambre pour 4. Mais Giovanni avait anticipé et contacter le site. Et nous avons eu deux chambres vu piscine et vu mer...Giovanni a ete notre sauveur pour bien commencer notre sejour. Merci Giovanni tu es une belle personne avec un grand coeur.

Pas d'insonorisation, télé des voisins à 1h00 du matin, départ en fanfare des tours opérators à 6h00. Impossible de dormir bien.

Avoir du café au petit déjeuner est un challenge, les jus de fruits sont synthétiques. Service déplorable.

Réceptionniste irresponsable qui prend vos cartes d'identité et oublie de les rendre. Bref, n'importe quoi.

Very kind and helpful stuff, apart of the person who didn’t know how to complete my check out calculating my expenses in the wrong way.
The location is nice, the hotel is pretty old fashion, but clean.
I do not recommend to eat there. Worst presentation and quality. Breakfast is poor and coffee just awful.
No WiFi in the rooms.

Hotel mit herrlicher Aussicht

Die Zimmer sind in einer Anlage mit Pool verteilt. Wlan ist in den Zimmern nicht möglich, nur in der Nähe der Rezeption. Das Zimmer hätte vom Fußboden sauberer sein können.Ein kleiner Kühlschrank fehlt. Leider nur mit Frühstück. Das Angebot für Halbpension fehlte mir. Auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug mit einem der vielen Boote zb. ab Canninone buchen und La Maddalena besuchen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Schöne Lage, Zimmer unzureichend

Eins vorweg: ein Auto ist unverzichtbar, guter Ausgangspunkt fuer Touren zu den schönen Straenden in der Umgebung. Leider kann die gepflegte Gartenanlage mit Pool nicht über die maroden Zimmer hinwegtaeuschen: eine Toilette (nach Info an den Service nicht repariert), die dauernd läuft, Handtuecher die nicht gewechselt werden, Klopapier nicht nachgefüllt, ein Minikuehlschrank der nicht mal eine Flasche kuehlen kann sondern nur 2 Dosen, keine Aufhaengmoeglichkeut fuer Badetuecher, mit wenig Umdenken könnte hier sehr viel mehr Komfort fuer den Gast erreicht werden. Das Fruehstueck ist fuer italienische Verhaeltnisse in Ordnung (Wurst, Kaese, Kuchen, Kaffee Top)

Permanenza di una settimana in una stanza non in ottime condizioni. Box doccia rotto sistemato con una tendina. Odore di stanza chiusa in camera fino all'ultimo giorno. Colazione appena accettabile. Buone le paste calde ma la macchinetta per il caffè automatico è improponobile con caffe che sembra un orzo e latte liofilizzato. Da evidenziare però la gentilezza del personale che serve la colazione che compensa la carenze dell'hotel. Per il resto ne arte ne parte. Distante 700 metri da Canniggione. Da considerare solo per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Discreto ma niente di eccezionale,lontano dal mare

Hotel dall'aspetto gradevole nelle zone comuni (sala colazione e pranzo/cena, piscina, hall), camere di buone dimensioni semplici nell'arredamento (tv vecchiotta, frigobar piccolo e poco funzionante); noi siamo stati sistemati in una camera esposta in pieno sole (forse c'era di meglio); bagno spazioso, box doccia e phon da migliorare. Pulizia buona, cambio degli a asciugamani non giornaliero. Colazione a buffet, non particolarmente ricca e varia ma accettabile, caffè espresso a pagamento altrimenti caffè della macchinetta automatica. Possibilità di cenare (forse anche di pranzare) : in caso voleste usufruire di tale servizio fatevi dire chiaramente i prezzi, a noi prima era stato detto un prezzo di un primo, un secondo + contorno e dessert, poi un altro oppure pagamento al consumo...beh abbiamo pagato più di xxx euro a testa pur non avendo preso l'intero menù fisso. Poco simpatico, poco cordiale il personale della reception, l'ospitalità per noi é un'altra cosa, ma può essere solo una questione di empatia.

Bel environnement;chambres vieillottes,

Quel dommage!!Cet établissement manque de moyens pour mettre en valeur la beauté de son emplacement. Le jardin ,la piscine sont chouettes, malheureusement les chambres ne sont plus en accord avec l'ensemble car le mobilier est sans âme de plus abimé par le temps ,dans des chambres défraichies avec un minimum de propreté ,une télé timbre poste ,un réseau Wifi qui passe très mal .En gros tout est viellot et tristounet! J'espere que les hôteliers se donneront la capacité à rebondir car les lieux en valent pourtant le coup !La restauration était décevante pour le prix demandé. Le personnel est pro ,mais cela ne suffit pas! alors s'il vous plait sortez le patron de sa léthargie !

Cerca a todo, lejos del bullicio

El hotel está en Caniggione, de los pocos pueblos bonitos para pararse a visitar y comer en la zona. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero la tranquilidad es enorme. Son muy limpios y el desayuno no está mal, pero solo en la zona de Olbia dan desayunos estupendos en hoteles. Atención a los mosquitos. Volvería sin duda.

Buon Hotel per vacanza di relax e mare

Hotel dislocato al di fuori Cannigione, a 5 minuti dal centro, in posizione strategica. L'hotel è di dimensione importante con ampi spazi per il relax. Camere di dimensione media ma confortevoli. Dispone di sala relax con televisione con Sky, sala biliardo e freccette, piscina esterna di dimensione medie con ampio solrarium con vista sul golfo. Personale gradevole e dsiponibile, proprietà presente e sempre disponibile a soddisfare le ricieste della clientela. Si caratterizza per essere un ambiente confortevole e familiare.

Idéalement situé mais non entretenu....quel gachis

Cet hôtel d'environ 50 chambres de \"standing\" très inégal est idéalement situé (à 40 minutes de route de l'aéroport d'Olbia) pour visiter le nord de la Sardaigne. - Points positifs : localisation, tranquillité, taille de la piscine, très beau point de vue depuis la piscine, taille des chambres, accueil en italien/anglais/français/allemand doubles - Points négatifs : hôtel à la décoration vieillote mais surtout non entretenu, plage de piscine non nettoyée, pdj de type \"continental\" copieux mais uniquement des produits bas de gamme et aucun produit local (le café est issu d'une machine de type \"distributeur\" que l'on trouve dans les hôtels bas de gamme en France) PS 1 : la plupart des chambres (surtout celles en RDC) ne présente pas de vue particulière voir même pas de vue directe sur l’extérieur et de n ombreuses chambres \"partagent\" leur climatisation PS 2 : Si vous allez sur le site de l’hôtel, ils vous indique une marina...ne la cherchez pas à proximité de l’hôtel car elle n'existe pas (la mer est à environ 2.5 km)

Mooi, maar huur een auto van te voren!

Het is een leuk hotel met een mooi zwenbad, het ligt heel mooi, het personeel kan een woordje engels of duits en het is schoner dan ik veel hotels heb aangetroffen: fijn dat ze geen vloerbedekking hebben liggen! De transfer van en naar de vlieghaven, is niet gratis, ook al staat nergens vermeld dat dit geld kost. Surprise! Het hotel ligt vrij verlaten en de transfer van het hotel voor in de buurt, rijdt maar enkele keren per dag en niet in de avond. Zonder auto ben je dus nergens, maar die waren tot anderhalve dag voor vertrek opper-de-pop. Huur dus in Sardinie van te voren maar een auto!!

Chambre assez basique, pas d'oreiller supplémentaire, salle de bain quelconque, cabine douche minuscule, TV cathodique format timbre poste.
Petit déjeuner en buffet type cantine, jus d'orange imbuvable, pas de grille pain.
Aussi, je ne peux pas commenter la prestation du restaurant car la froideur du PDJ ne m'a pas incité à tenter l'expérience.
Hôtel assez bien situé sur les hauteurs et très belle vue sur la mer. Piscine sans grand intérêt.

Sehr schönes Hotel , toller Meerblick

Hotel sehr zu empfehlen für Ruhesuchende. Das Hotel liegt mitten in unberührter Natur. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit eigener Terrasse ( ca. 50 qm) und 2 Sonnenliegen. Von dort hatte man einen traumhaften Blick über den Golf von Arzachena, ebenso von der schönen Frühstücksterrasse.
Das Hotel war in einem guten Zustand und alles sehr sauber, sowie sehr nettes und freundliches Personal.
Allerdings ist ein Mietwagen unbedingt erforderlich, da die nächsten Orte doch mind. 2-3 km entfernt liegen.
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Husk badehette hvis du skal hit!

Hotellet var i prinsippet helt OK, men service var så som så. For oss var svømmebasseng veldig viktig (for barna!) og en av grunnene til at vi valgte nettopp dette hotellet som jo ligger et stykke unna strendene. Flott badebasseng her, men INGEN BADET fordi det var PÅBUDT MED BADEHETTE! Snakk om prehistorisk!! En så idiotisk regel krever da i det minste at de selger/ låner ut badehetter på hotellet, men det gjør de ikke. Og hvem gidder å bruke verdifull ferietid på å gå på shopping etter badehetter?! Det er jo så gammeldags at det knapt produseres lenger. Vi mistenker hotelledelsen for å bruke badehette-regelen nettopp for å unngå at gjestene bader og dermed slipper de kostnader for vedlikehold av bassenget. Dette er helt idiotisk og fryktelig irriterende. Finnes heller ikke noe mineralvann å kjøpe i resepsjon/ bar. Også rimelig irriterende.

Hotel magnifique à cinq minutes de cannigione

Superbe hôtel à quelques encablures de la costa smeralda. Accueil très chaleureux de la part de l'hôtesse, chambres très bien et piscine magnifique. Le petit déj est super et la vue panoramique du restaurant superbe.

Petits détails : le frigo de la chambre n'est pas très performant, ennuyeux si on a pris des spécialités locales. La salle de bains est un peu petite avec pas d'eau chaude le premier soir.

Il est situé dans la campagne, dans les hauteurs de la Sardaigne à 2 minutes en voiture de la ville. Très belle vue sur la mer. Hôtel calme. Belle piscine. Chambres simples mais propres et avec climatisation. Personnel très agréable.

Uno dei migliori alberghi che abbia mai frequentato per chi cerca relax e natura (sono stato a fine maggio). Esercenti e personale dell'albergo di una gentilezza e disponibilità mai trovata. Camere con vista eccellenti. Ristorante ottimo.
