What a splendid find ! The value was incredible! Peaceful and architecturally interesting modern flair with historic accents. The dinner, scrumptious and plentiful ! I was so happy staying in the junior suite with the spa turkish bath room toasty and worth the €24 day ! Parking included underground, breakfast buffet plentiful in a gorgeous dining room, shared balcony and views were nice. Go out of your way to go to this hotel ! Its worth it. Then 10 minutes away drive to see the cathedral fortress and museum medieval stone structures… woke up happy , even though the bed was very hard it was flat, no indents, and the down comforter was huge and wonderful. if I didnt have to check out I would have slept under the blanket all day!

The bedroom is barebones. The restaurant was the usual microwaved spanish stuff. At reception there was this insufferable person , Marco or Franco, can't remember his name. Basically he gave me the worst possible room he had with an arrogant attitude. There is nothing much around the hotel. Won't be going back.

Great Place for Road Trip Stops

We have stayed at this hotel several times before and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and generally comfortable but my room had an infestation of ants in the bathroom. Food is very good and good value.

This is a clean, and quiet place, very handy if you are on a road trip and need a stop off not far from the motorway. The staff are friendly but for those that dont have any basic spanish you will struggle. There are no tea/coffee facilitates in the rooms which is an annoyance. I am sure they wouldn't like me in my pjs in the restaurant. During April when we visited it actually looks like its being run on skeleton staff and areas such as lounge bar is closed, swimming pool closed until June. And the sauna you have to pay extra for. But its friendly, clean and quiet..

Hotel decor is outdated. We were not told that the service provided depended on occupancy. We had no access to lunch, tea, coffee or drinks. The restaurant was closed for lunch and the bar closed in the evening. The outdoor pool was not filled so the photo is misleading. The indoor pool was however available. We were told to go the nearby gold club restaurant for lunch. The meal was appalling - everything from a jar, can or pre-packaged. The breakfast was very good and the only redeeming feature. Fortunately we were there only for one night because we were on a road trip so booked a hotel close to the motorway but far from the city so do not use if you intend holidaying in Salamanca.

They have a bar that I think is only for decoration. There is nowhere in the hotel to get a cup of tea as there are no kettles in the room and when we asked if we could have one we were told “It’s not possible.”
The pool doesn’t open until 11:30 which even some Spanish people booking in couldn’t believe and you can’t take a cup of tea out of the breakfast room to sit outside. The night staff on reception were lovely. The daytime staff, didn’t want to help.
It’s a hotel where they are only interested in the people who play golf.
Oh and it is a ten minute taxi ride into Salamanca with nothing much around it.

Horrible pool area. You had to bring your own towel from home! No lounge chairs and 1 employee at pool bar for many people. Air conditioning did not work in jr suite room… in August! Restaurant food was good with excellent service. That was a nice surprise!

Arrived late, everything shut apart from restaurant. Massively overpriced and not particularly tasty \"haute cuisine\". A/C didn't work so they moved us. Didn't work again. Gap between glass shower door and bath so water went all over the marble floor, causing my wife to slip and hurt her arm. Reception didn't seem particularly bothered when we told them. Very hard bed.

The hotel was fine, the public areas were ok, but a little dated. The cleanliness was first class, the staff were very helpful and polite.
We had an evening meal, which was very tasty.
The only downside was the bed mattress, which was rather hard, nearly solid!! As we were only stopping a couple of nights we put up with it. ( Typically British ) overall we were very satisfied with the hotel, it's staff and facilities, at the price we paid.

Comfort and convenience with a good breakfast!

We needed a place to stay in Salamanca but were driving, and trying to find a place to stay actually in the city with free/cheap parking was impossible, so we gave this place a try, as it was only a couple of miles out. The hotel is out in a quiet area, with fields, a golf course, and houses around. We arrived around 10 pm but they had lots of parking. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which is great!! We were checked in quickly and efficiently and then headed off to find our room. This turned out to be rather a trek, as we were about three corridors from the elevator, but that's part of being in a large hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely appointed, with a true queen/king bed (not two-double-beds-squished-together) that was comfortable with fluffy pillows. The heater worked well. The toiletries smell great, and the towels were huge and fluffy. For the price, this is a great hotel and we were very pleased we gave it a try. Breakfast was a nice, typical Spanish display, with cheeses, meats, bread with tomato, various pastries and fruits, etc... We were very pleased with the selection.

Overall, very pleased with the hotel and our experience there, especially for the reasonable price! It might be busier/more expensive in summer, but it was perfect in December. Give it a try!

We chose this hotel because of convenience (en route south from Santander) but were really pleased with the reception, the spacious room and the way it was all presented. A tiny bit tired looking but pretty close to opulent. We got a great rate due to Expedia but would happily have paid more because of the standard and lovely staff.

Our 6th stay at this hotel, rooms always clean, very large with good bathrooms. Only Spanish TV! Food in restaurant is excellent with good wines. You cannot eat until 9pm, which takes a bit of getting use too, however the wait is worth it, always have a starter as this is the larger meal, with main courses being on the small size.

Disappointing hotel

The description offered so much which it failed to provide. The Spa was closed on arrival. The air conditioning and Pool is closed until June. The bar staff were inattentive, in contrast to the reception staff who were helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious but dusty and looked as if it had been unoccupied for a while. No complaints about the comfortable bed. The noise of other guests carried throughout the hotel and we had to contact reception at 3am to deal with this. The Hotel is out of the way with little of interest unless your a Golfer.

If you want to be insulted to your face, this is the place to stay

Awful dump. Furnished in a very heavy Castilian style suitable only if you have a very big pot belly (like many of the guests). But it is the service that will truly appall. Several examples: I needed the hotel cart to move my luggage. There is just one. It was being used by a deliveryman and i had to wait ten minutes. Paying guest vs deliveryman? You can see how low guest service is on the list of management priorities. When I got to the room, neither the minibar fridge nor the internet were working. Moved to another room where the fridge was working but the internet failed. I was told a technician would be by soon. More than an hour later, still nobody. When I complained, I was abused by a woman on the desk. I won't go into the particulars of the abuse but I don't think Jews are too welcome in this part of Spain (I have a very Jewish surname). Perhaps it is too demanding, too quarrelsome to expect a service that I thought I had already paid for.What else can I say? The swimming pool was closed. It was supposed to be part of the hotel's attractions. Management goes off early and leaves under-trained staff to abuse the guests. There are much nicer hotels in Salamanca, much closer to the city. Why would anyone want to stay in this dump? Unless they get a kick out of being abused?

Hôtel 4* vieillissant et mal insonorisé

Un 4 étoile vieillissant, mais j’ai eu un petit prix! L’entrée et la réception est superbe digne d’un grand hôtel! Une belle chambre triple confortable.
Les horaires de 12h à 12h le lendemain sont un bonus, ainsi qu’un parking privée gratuit et sécurisé et une réception ouverte 24h/24h! On aime.
Pas eu le temps de profiter d’autres services (piscine, spa…)

Par contre les points négatifs sont à prendre à compte :
le papier peint de notre chambre se décollait mais pour moi ce qui a été rédhibitoire c’est l’isolation! On avait besoin de repos pour reprendre la route mais ça n’a pas été possible! On a eu l’impression de dormir avec les clients des chambres voisines (discussions, toux, chaises qui traîne au sol, ou même porte de placard qui se ferme) sans parler des personnes qui passent dans le couloir! Femme de ménage qui passent l’aspirateur tôt le matin.
On a aussi retrouvé des cheveux dans les draps de ma fille.

Donc pour un petit prix ok si vous n’avez pas un sommeil léger 👍 sinon passez votre chemin.

Cette fois-ci pas de frigo, un pommeau de douche fixé trop haut et qui arrosait trop haut, une paroie se douche non étanche on a du faire très attention de ne pas mettre de l’eau partout et une vue sur un bâtiment à 10m pas top . Sinon belle chambre, très grand lit confortable et le restaurant est très bon.

Nos dieron una habitación que cuando entramos nos olia un poco raro. Falta de limpieza. Sorpresa cuando al mirar debajo de la cama encontramos vomito de gato. Habitacion con limpieza deficiente totalmente y mas llevando un bebé con nosotros.
Mi pareja bajo a comentarlo en recepcion y nos cambiaron de habitacion (Ni un solo detalle por las molestias). Debajo de las camas estaba tambien lleno de pelusas y polvo. HOTEL 0 RECOMENDABLE.

Hôtel situé dans une zone calme et à l écart de la ville, il fait parti d’un golf, belle allure de l’établissement aussi bien à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur. Parking de l’hôtel devant la réception et gratuit. Petit déjeuner buffet très bien également. Utilisé comme étape entre le Portugal et la France, très satisfait à l’aller et nous y avons séjourné pour le retour également.

El personal excelente, muy amables y nos sacaron de todas nuestras dudas, habitación muy bien, el único pero que yo le pondría es que la secadora de pelo no es mi potente y se apaga muy rápido porque se calienta demasiado! En general un hotel muy bueno.

Servicio restaurante muy malo

El servicio en restaurante muy pésimo, hemos ido para una competición nacional, campeonato de españa y no hemos podido alimentar a los deportista de forma adecuada, el servicio fué grosero y déspota, tuvimos que salir a cenar a otro lugar.
