It’s a convenient location, closed to lots of restaurants and markets, but hotel lobby is at 8th floor, rooms at 9th floor and up. The hotel guests are bit mixed, there were some nice polite guests but also some loud and obnoxious guests. We stayed at family room, two bathrooms are plus. But there’s no room divider in between the rooms. Hotel staffs are polite and willing to help. They speak English and Mandarin. With the price I paid, I give it 3 stars, just okay, nothing stands out to impress me. I will only return if I get to pay same price again next time. $70 for a family room a night, it’s a bargain.

The family room is not bad except the bathroom and the sink are a kinda of mouldy. There is No hair conditioner provided.
The separate toilet with a door is an excellent idea for a family.
No fridge and ironing board provided too.
The location of the hotel is good and central to move about.

The hotel boasts 4 stars online but it did not live up to the expectations of such decree.
1. The late night service staff were nonchalant and unfriendly.
2. The hotel stipulates a no smoking policy but the room reeked with cigarette stink.
3. False advertising regarding free bike rental on their room cards.
4. Overall very disappointing.
The two stars is for the location of the hotel; it is nicely located in the vicinity of amenities .

Nice hotel. Seems a little overpriced though. Room is a decent size for 1-2 people. The privacy curtain for the shower is outside of the bathroom. There was a balcony/corridor outside of my room that made me worry about leaving my curtains open. The tv had channels in Eng and Ch. Decent spot.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was horrible and every staff member we encountered was rude and unhelpful. We asked for a knife to cut up fruit for our baby and we were told it was against the law in Taiwan to lend us a knife. We got a peeler to use, which we said we would return when we were done with it. Our whole family was startled awake at 11:30 pm by a staff member banging on our door and demanding the peeler back, saying they needed it for the morning. This wasn’t the only terrible experience we had at this hotel but it was one that stood out. We complained to the manager who could not have cared less. They have busloads of local tourists that stay at this hotel (filling the public areas with smoke and noise at all hours) so the hotel does not care about individual guests. The rooms and common areas are dirty and dingy, the hallway carpets covered with stains and there was black mold all over the bathrooms in our rooms. It’s truly a disgusting hotel.

Honestly a bit expensive for what it was.

Even though they said no smoking, our room smelled quite bad of cigarettes. Either the previous user smoked or it used to be a smoking room and the smell has seeped into the walls.

The room was quite old - you could see the wear and tear and the bathroom wasn't great. It was usable but if you looked in the corners you can see rust and you can really tell the age.

Staff were very nice though. Very polite and friendly.

The area isn't bad, it's next to a big road so there's plenty of food and shopping options. It was a walking distance from a local market. The area and the building entrance looks tiny bit sketchy but Taiwan is safe so we felt quite safe even after dark. Although if this was any other country, I would have thought twice about staying.

OK hotel at a good location

The hotel location is very convenient, close to many main attractions and excellent local small/authentic restaurants. The hotel facility is fine. Breakfast is OK, but not many guests use it due to so many good and inexpensive local foods nearby. The hotel staff are not very warm and have a pretty rigid attitude, but they are not rude, just not very welcoming.

Need a lot of improvements with cleanliness

Room was dirty and dusty. There was hair and thick dust around the room at corners etc that they missed out on cleaning. Overnight parking was very expensive and could be a long walk if you have luggages to carry. Only good thing about this place is its very convenient location.

Rooms are fair size, clean, has a small fridge. Bed is comfortable. Reception was most helpful . There is laundry machine free to use.TV has no news channel. Can be improve if they can put on Al Jazeera, BBC, DW News, CNN and France 24. It is 10 mins by bus . Nearby is a popular local Eat Street. It caters to the locals but worth experimenting. Most of the tourist spots are within 30 mins walk. You can also take a bus to Anping Fort

Good location, so much within walking distance, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and quiet. The gym is just a couple of treadmills and a stationary bike (no weights) but other than that this hotel is fine.

Location is great , everything is within walking distance ,
Free self laundry is definitely a plus, and
Room is large and good size ,

What I don’t like ~ cleaning work need to be improved , quite a few visible mold in the washroom area . And , I often see the hair on the floor after scheduled cleaning , used mug was not washed …. Bedding was not properly organized….
Overall , hope they do better cleaning .

The property is in an excellent location for shopping and many food choices. Staffs were very pleasant and eager to assist. My biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. I feel the hotel will really need to have a SOP for proper cleaning.

Clean hotel. I thought the twin beds were a bit small for two adults. You can’t beat the location. Many dining options available. The room was comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I hope to stay again. This hotel is on the corner of Hai-an and Minsheng Road.

服務人員態度很差 寫個防疫表單還被兇 連基本服務態度都沒有 來消費還要看她臉色 住宿方面蠻漂亮只是美中不足的地方 地板很髒這方面要加強。希望下次去整體都很好

住宿地點交通便利，鄰近國華街跟友愛街，住宿的酒店沒有停車位，需要停旁邊的海安地下停車場（需自費，酒店有販售12小時$150的折扣票），早餐我沒有在住宿時加購，因為覺得價格太貴了！住宿房間的廁所門不知道為什麼我怎樣都鎖不上😑還好是跟家人ㄧ起住！住宿的房間床單有破洞不過不影響住宿品質，枕頭超軟但睡一晚起來也沒有脖子痛還算可以！總體而言，住宿cp值ok！下次如果來台南會選擇再次入住😃

床舒服，地點好，也乾淨衛生，櫃檯人員僅有一位，辦理入住，客人多的時候，要應付時間太久了，下三點才入住，隔天11就退房，似乎是非常落伍的方式，明顯代表整理房務人員的充份不足，，，台北的商旅也不會是3點才入住的！
