We arrived late at night on a very cold day, the room was freezing, heat didn’t work and the room itself smelled terrible. We called down and were moved to a different room which also didn’t have working heat. After a few hours the person realized he didn’t know how to turn it on and we finally got it on but it still took another hour to get warm. The rooms were very old, smelly and I would not stay here again.

My stay at the Hotel was good. The breakfast was really good. The bedroom is ok (nice table for work), bed is comfortable but the pillows are to high. The hotel is not close to the centre (around 30min walk). The time of checkin-checkout is really strict, which I did not like.

Solo travel for a short trip to Amersfoort. Hotel is a nice walk to the railway station, approximately 20 mins or so through a nice neighbourhood.

Bed was comfortable however the pillows were quite small and too firm for my liking. No other pillows available in the room to swap or add. Noise travels too so you can hear occupants in adjacent rooms if they're being noisy.

I didn't sample breakfast so can't comment on this but the staff I dealt with on check-in and leaving were most helpful, friendly and polite.

Despite the issue with the pillows, I'd probably stay here again if visiting Amersfoort for a short period. Its location wasn't an issue as it was cheaper than other more central hotels.

A wonderful stay

What a lovely hotel this is! Very helpful and friendly staff, about 25 minute walk to the centre of town. It has a large bar/ restaurant/ lounge area where we could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choice. We had dinner there one night which was delicious. We hired a bike, and there is plenty of space to store your own bikes.

Here is what I liked; reception area very nice, front desk staff did a great job, breakfast was very good, loved being quite close to the old (fort) part of town, less than 10 minute drive.
The reason for a good score and not an excellent score was due to rooms looking tired. As well, Door into our suite and most of the others were chipped and in need of paint. The same would be true inside the room, that there were areas in need of paint.

the hotel was OK for the price but one staff gave us wrong info about the towel dryer rack which didn't work. the sink did not drain well and the shower stall leaked water leaving the floor wet around it. Dinner was fine and the staff was great. At breakfast the buffet was often missing items that were not replaced

The hotel locates in Amersfoort, which is a city away from Amsterdam 40 minutes by intercity train. It is not a very convenient hotel to choose if you are a frequent visitor to Amsterdam, but it is a good choice if you love quiet living areas. Also, it is easy to go to Haag, Rotterdam and the other surroundings from Amersfoort, you may have variable options at Amersfoort train station.

Unfortunately the room was so cold during the night. There is an air conditioning unit that pumps out warmish air but it’s incredibly noisy. The noise from other guests echoes down the corridor and it’s very difficult to get any peaceful sleep. I was glad to leave and go to another hotel so I was able to get some rest.

On a plus note that staff are incredible friendly and the breakfast served is of very high quality.

Stayed for 4 nights, nice surroundings, great terrace, friendly staff and clean. Very easy access from the highway. The only thing to improve are the door locking sound..It's too loud, it wakes you up during the night and early morning when other guests are leaving the room!

We were looking for a hotel to stay at regularly due to our kids living in Amersfoort, while we live abroad. But during our stay on Dec 14th, at 8:30 a maintenance person came barging into the room while we were sleeping late (jet-lag) saying that he had a report of an overflowing shower. False alarm..... Then 30 minutes later the cleaning lady knocked and immediately walked in to see if we had already left, and woke us up again. She then proceeded to have a discussion for about 10 minutes with a colleague outside our door, and we found out that the sound insulation was not good as we could follow the entire discussion. Right before checking out she again walked into the room and opened the door so forcefully that my wife who was about to open the door got her finger smashed between the room door and the bathroom door, causing a large bruise and a fingernail that will likely fall off soon. We heard that the cleaning staff knocked on every room door. This seems to be their method to see which rooms they could clean. I think Best Western in The Netherlands has not yet figured out that the front desk should be advising the cleaning staff about which rooms have been checked out, but rather they leave it up to the cleaning folks to ask the guests themselves if they are still in the room......
One more thing: almost all the parking spots in front of the hotel entrance say \"Reserved for Trainers\".

We enjoyed one overnight stay. This hotel was close to sights in Amersfoort but we enjoyed free parking and a complete breakfast buffet. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the room was a little cramped but adequate for a one night stay

The hotel has a great terrasse with a wide variety of easy chairs and loungers. They even provided sun cream. The room had recently been renovated. However the furniture was now very sparse. No bedside tables, no drawers under the bureau and only one very high shelf. There was nowhere to put your clothes apart from a few coat hangers. Fine if staying one or two nights but not if you are staying longer. There was plenty of space to put chest of drawers or some shelves. Staff was very friendly.

Once checked in, we remained at the hotel until departure next morning. Dinner was very good and the buffet breakfast was varied and also very good.

Loved my stay at this hotel, the room had a slightly unusual layout but it was really high quality. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sofa was also very relaxing. The shower, toilet and sink area were all separated which worked well and everything was well lit and with plenty of space to move about.

I had a car with me when I stayed here, so it made it easy for me to get around. I was looking for a quiet place to recover from my jet lag, not to far from things to do and places to eat. The room was nice (firm matress, tile floors) and was laid out well. I did not hang out there much, but when I was there I was comfortable.

okay but lacking in customer care

Cleaner walked in two days in a row without knocking when we were undressed or coming out of the shower. This was before 9.am and When I complained the receptionist thought it was funny. We didn't have a do not disturb sign to use, and I informed the receptionist that in England it is polite to knock befor entering a room. Other than that the hotel was good, though the restaurant quite expensive.

Nice hotel within walking distance of Amersfoort

I decided to stop off at Amersfoort on my travels; this hotel is within a nice walking distance of the old part of the city, 15 minutes or so, with free parking at the hotel site. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room I got was quite spacious. There was a nice selection at the breakfast buffet including cereals, fruit, various breads, eggs and bacon. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely hotel nice and quiet very friendly.

Lovely room very clean cleaned everyday and clean towels. Staff very helpful and friendly. Tea and coffee available when ever you wanted. Only fault was a deposit for full amount was taken from our Visa card on the day we arrived, so this ment that it was reserved from our bank, then on leaving they took payment again and then first amount isn't going to be back into our account until the 20th of April we are not happy about this. We stayed from 3rd April to 6th April 2015. Otherwise very happy with hotel and will go there again.

On arrival we were dealt with professional and very friendly. The staff generally was very friendly. Disappointed that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, expected this to be standart in a 4 * hotel. When we asked we were told it was not possible. On checking out when we mentioned it again the receptionist told us that it was possible if only we had asked for it ???
Breakfast was basic, nothing to write home about.

Berg hotel Amersfoort, in the middle og nowhere

Amersfoort is in the middle of nowhere. Berghotel...it is on a hill... But berg...?
But it's a nice hotel with the right ambitions. You can't call the rooms \"cozy\" but you can call them modern, fresh and clean. And in the right circumstances that's fine! The biggest problem for us was the soap... Hard to open small plastic bottle that you can't squeeze...who wants to wait for four minutes for some mg of soap to slowly slip out of the bottle... They're working on it... Minorq detail, I know..
Still I recommend (bring yr own soap) nice breakfast, friendly staff, clean

Attention to detail needed!

Regardz portrays itself as a quality four star hotel with an emphasis on style. The hotel is run well enough and the staff were all very helpful. however, the design of the room seemed over-ambitious and a lack of attention to detail led to minor irritations. What's the point of providing a coffee making machine, and even coffee, but no mugs, cream or sugar? The illuminated shaving mirror was wired in but wouldn't illuminate. A big trendy lamp fitting caused me to knock my head every time I got up from the desk. (I'm only average height). Otherwise it was fine, but I'd expect a hotel of this calibre to get such details right!

시내에서 조금 떨어진 주택가에 있어서 조용하고 평화로운 하루를 만끽했어요. 직원들은 아주 친절합니다. 호텔은 아주 오래 되었지만 관리가 잘 되고 있어요. 단지 방음이 요즘 현대식 호텔에 비해 좋지 않습니다만 오랜 전통의 멋진 호텔에서 묵는다면 충분히 감수할 수 있을 정도입니다. 아침에 호텔 길 건너 마을 숲을 꼭 산책 해 보세요. 강추합니다

De kamer was armoede troef de muren vies en beschadigd vette handafdrukken op de muren echt bizar .
De entourage van dit hotel lijkt veel meer dan dat de kamers zijn.
De bedden waren schoon kussens knoerthard en hoog badkamer schoon.
Geen enkele benodigdheden geen tandenborstel of kammetje of wat dan ook, wel douche schuim en shampoo .

Wij waren hier terecht gekomen door onverwachte omstandigheden en dan heb je geen materiaal om je te verzorgen (jammer)

Het personeel op vrijdag beheerste de Nederlandse taal niet. Zaterdag wel.
In de nacht viel het gordijn naar beneden, het meisje van de receptie was alleen en kon het niet maken. Daarom zelf maar met plakband in de weer gegaan. In de ochtend veel licht door de ramen waardoor we vroeg wakker waren.

Vergane glorie. Buitenkant mooi. Omdat er vergaderingen en seminars waren, was er geen parkeergelegenheid voor hotelgasten. Moesten lang wachten bij de incheck, terwijl er door al online hadden gedaan. Mochten koffie pakken maar apparaat gaf foutmelding, dus geen koffie. Kregen uiteindelijk andere kamer omdat het lang duurde. Maar iedere keer bij betreden van kamer herkene inlezer de kaart niet. Moesten iedere keer naar receptie hiervoor. Ook s avonds laat weer. Lagen net op bed werd er aan de deur geklopt. Hoe dan? Receptie medewerker die onze pas weer had geactiveerd kwam onze gegevens checken. Zo raar! Douche weg oud en vies. Slecht water en minimale straal uit vieze douchekop, die al lang vervangen had moeten worden. Muren van karton. Voor ons hier niet meer.
