WiFi kept stalling every couple of minutes made it very frustrating, as I needed to research things for the rest of my trip. No under bed storage is a bummer but there was just enough space to leave the suitcase open on the floor. Room wasn't level or something because the bathroom door could not stay open and would silently close by itself all the time which led me to running into it many times. Great location across from the station, quiet, convenience store right next door, decent breakfast, friendly staff.

They are tiny and around rush hour like 8am you just cant seem to catch one because they are all full. Otherwise, overall the place is good.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Our 1st room was near the laundry and right above busy street so we asked to move. Front desk woman who spoke some english found us a much better location. Room was very small but clean. Beds and pillows were on the firm side, pillows tiny. Breakfast was not great but included. Booked this because it was very convenient to train station. If you're American, think Motel 6 level of hospitality.

A typical business hotel...I've been staying here for almost 20 years. It's extremely convenient with a Family Mart on the ground floor and the JR station right across the street. Rooms are very small and bring a spare pillow as the ones they provide are extremely thin. The free breakfast is good but they've reduced the offerings somewhat from previous visits.

I've stayed at the Comfort Hotel previously a couple of times and thought it was perfect especially for the value. It's comfortable, quiet and very clean. Unfortunately, this trip was to attend to a family emergency and not for leisure. They have a complimentary breakfast and good coffee. The location, across from the Gifu JR Train Station, was very convenient for all of my transportation options.

I am pleasantly pleased by the Gifu Hotel Reception Counter staff's service standard and helpfulness. I was at the hotel early Dec. Unable to speak Japanese, Mr T Mai patiently listened to my request and called on my behalf to make a reservation at a tourist attraction near Inuyama Yuen Station.

Right across the street from JR Gifu station. You can see it as you approach on the train so it is very easy to find. Very convenient for an overnight stay. Clean quiet room with good service. Breakfast was fairly basic, not the extensive buffet spread you come to take for granted at a lot of hotels in Japan.

This is the fifth time I've stayed at the Comfort Inn Gifu, and the only reason I gave it a four overall instead of a five is that the price has gone up considerably and I don't consider it a bargain any more. This hotel is an excellent budget choice. The Comfort Hotel is just outside the station, well-kept and the staff are extremely helpful. They even helped me to proof-read a speech I had to give in Japanese. The included buffet breakfast was of good quality with a large variety of pastries, soup, onigiri, etc to start your day. The room was comfortable with clean and reasonably modern decor. Our only small problem was that the bathroom was a little smelly when we arrived but the room even had a room/fabric deoderiser provided for our use. There was a TV, fridge and kettle with tea for our use in the room and further items could be borrowed from the front desk. If you're looking for a decent, comfortable hotel at a budget price in Gifu, this is it!

Die Unterkunft liegt super praktisch direkt am Bahnhof Gifu, sodass von dort aus alles schnell erreicht werden kann. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber und haben alles, was man braucht. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend groß, um etwas leckeres zu finden und gestärkt in den Tag zu starten.
