Set along the Makhutswi River, Toro River epitomises the connection between untouched African landscapes and responsible human intervention, with a commitment to ongoing conservation efforts that aim to preserve the Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve. Designed to integrate into its natural environment, Toro River exists as a blend of modern comforts and untouched wilderness.


Located in Hoedspruit, Toro River Lodges Big 5 Exclusive Safari is on the riverwalk and within the region of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and Blyde River Canyon. This lodge is within the region of Three Rondavels and Echo Caves.

Make yourself at home in one of the 8 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring refrigerators and microwaves. Your bed comes with down comforters and premium bedding.

Rooms have private balconies. Prepare your meals in the shared/communal kitchen.
