I stayed in both an Adult/Executive and a Standard room. The former had more features along with a direct ocean view, but my Standard room was fine too. With a sideways view of the ocean. Both were very clean.

I think the views from the balcony were great and the location. The building itself is just pretty old and everything is just outdated for the price, I guess. The location was also pretty decent. Our cleaning person was fantastic and one of the receptionist. However, my friend told me the older receptionist man was very mean to them.

The hotel was nice, perfect location beachfront, the staff were amazing the only complaint was the room were so outdated! We were on the 3rd floor and the room looked like from a 24hr motel. My friend had a room on the 7th floor and those were brand new! Beautiful rooms, night and day I would say. We didn’t complain about it we just made the best of it. But next time if I stay there I will request 7th floor or a way better room. FYI they charge for everything if you loose your key if you stain the sheets or towels which they were already lol. If you need and iron they lend it to you for only 2 hours. Other than that it was nice.

The room was spacious and clean but very basic, Minimal furniture. No refrigerator which was a big disappointment. Very noisy. My room faced the busy street. And there was booming music from the pool area much of the day and all evening long until 11pm. The music might appeal to some people but not to people who go to bed early. Many guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. Another issue is that they would not permit my friend to enter and sit at the pool with me for a half hour without buying a day pass. It was ridiculous.

Absolute nightmare, the room I stayed in was beyond run down. The bath had painted over mold all over the ceiling. The mattress was the equivalent of sleeping on a carpet on the floor. Staff wouldnt let you bring in guests, which is absurd. Expedia this isn’t over.

The hotel’s beachfront location is a major plus, and it’s conveniently situated just a short walk from shopping and restaurants. The food was average but acceptable. One thing to note is that our rooms did not include a microwave or mini refrigerator, which may be important for some travelers.

The property was clean and the location was amazing!! Right on the Malecón in walking distance to everything you need. The food options were EXTREMELY limited, so not stay here if you’re vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions. The room was okay the balcony was nice but it’s just a very simple room, you get a few bottles of water no blow dryer or coffee, the safe in the room was broken, no room service or amenities. Also online it said the room had wifi which it did not. I ate out for every meal and had to pay for cell data for the whole trip, but great location. It’s pretty much like staying in a cheap hotel in Canada I wouldn’t really classify it as an all inclusive resort by any means. Decent margs though.

This hotel has one of the best locations in Old Town. We booked the adult only side which is the front tower - all ocean facing rooms. Some are completely redone and are huge and beautiful. Ours was not redone, but it was large and the bathroom has upgrades. It was in good condition. The adults only rooms overlook the private adults only pool and the beach (and the pier). We had a large cockroach in the room on our last night. Very large. Not ideal but what bothered me most was front desk wasn't overly concerned and said its common and that was that. Up to the point of finding the roach, the room seemed very clean and housekeeping did a great job everyday. The staff at the adults bar and the beach were amazing! Manny (and Sergio??) were so great, so attentive and so very personable. The type of staff you make friends with and follow them around to other properties!

The person that stood out the most was the young man that was the bus boy. I am a little hadicapped and walk with sticks, he came to me several times and asked me if I required any assistance. He was a true young gentleman, i apologise for not remembering his name. He would be the numbr one reason I would stay at Hotel Delfin again next trip. This young man should get a promotion and climb up the corporate ladder. The view from my roms was unforgettable looking over the pier right outside my window. 5 stars to everyone!!

I stayed in the Adult's Only Tower of the Hotel Delfin Beach Resort and my experience was excellent. The room was perfectly clean with daily housekeeping, the furniture was nice and new, and the view was spectacular. Lots of noise in the evening due to the prime location on the beach. I did not use the resort amenities so cannot vouch for the food or facilities.

We loved staying here in the Jr Suite. As an LGBT couple, we felt welcome. Amazing view, perfect room, and excellent service. Loved the Nespresso in the room and the nightly turn-down! This was our second time here and definitely will be back! We appreciated access to the adult pool. The location is amazing and everything is safe and secure.

This All Inclusive resort fell short in several ways. The food was terrible, necessitating frequent dining out. Additionally, the lights in our room kept flickering on and off throughout our stay. The air conditioning unit couldn’t keep the room cool, so we had to request a floor fan for assistance. Furthermore, the resort strictly prohibited guests from inviting family or friends into their rooms at any time. Violating this rule resulted in an additional charge to the guest’s hotel bill.

Great view, easy access to many restaurants, pharmacies,and OXXO right next door. At night I listened to the sound of rolling ocean waves, and no other unpleasant noise, like traffic or after hours party noise. If the doors to balcony and ocean view are closed, there is no noise at all. The cleaning staff was very friendly and responsive. All in all , a very pleasant stay. I will come back, and refer others as well.

This property is exceptionally located by the beach but it’s not adults only. They have one row of rooms that are but the rest of the hotel is full of noisy, screaming kids. They were out all hours of the night. If you want peace and quiet; don’t stay here.

We stayed on the side that was not all inclusive and it was great for us. No children in the rooms or the pool which made for a relaxing time if you are travelling without children. The pool was great, the beach was nice and the room was clean and spacious. Would stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed in the adult only side. The room had great views of the ocean. Cleaning staff refreshed room daily if needed and gave 2 water bottles for coffee or for drinking needs. Bed came with 4 large pillows my only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock, it was a hard spring mattress with maybe a 2in foam on top which didnt help. I didnt mention it to staff but if anyone is expecting a fluffy bed beware of the beds. The adult pool staff were attentive to bringing you drinks and food if needed. If you go to the beach they have chair and umbrella rentals. The location of this hotel was great near many restaurants and vendors nearby.

Loved the location and have stayed here twice. I highly recommend the adults only building junior suite. I did have one issue this time, after spending a week at the hotel and spending/tipping there, I was shocked to find out they charged us $500MX for the loss of one of our card keys…….ridiculous (and they weren’t nice about it). We knew we were getting a cheaper resort but this one really is one to avoid. The food is particularly terrible, almost like they went out of their way to make it plane and off unfortunately. The staff was kind, but there were so many stipulations and rules - they wouldn't run ice to the room, nor was a hairdryer provided automatically, you had to go to the front desk for everything. It felt quite unclean in the eating area and often birds would be picking at left over dishes outside. It was cheaper than the surrounding area as far as all inclusives go, but we ended up eating out all the time anyway.
