Budget hotel, good value. The pool was very well looked after, had a lovely swim. No drink allowed by the pool.
No bar, no evening food. More like a B&B.
The owners were very attentive and breakfast was good. There is a wonderful restaurant in a castle 10ish walk. I would stay again.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms very tastefully decorated. It is so calm and relaxing with just the sound of birds and frogs, we slept extremely well. The breakfast was also to a high standard. Bars are a short walk from the hotel

We were disappointed with the lack of food available - none. This was understandable as we were the only people staying at the hotel.
The owner did offer to prepare breakfast but we could get tostada and coffee in the village.
As my wife has mobility issues we would not recommend the hotel to others as there were random steps on route to the suite and it was quite a long walk from the car.

Lovely little gem

Booked for 1 night as a stop over on way to ferry. Arrived late afternoon, spent some time in the pool, room had small kitchen and we bought some bits with us, so had dinner and enjoyed the sunset over the fields

Perfect stopover location.

A lovely location just outside of a medieval village with a castle! Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, we were the only guests, but that was the only downside. Lovely breakfast, safe parking, delightful room and under £60….what’s not to like?

Delightful hotel with good facilities. A great lounge area to relax in and pool should the weather be suitable. Easy parking. Simple but very adequate breakfast. A good stop off not too far out of Burgos.

Beautiful hotel with a feel of home. The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We are walking the Camino Santiago and were not able to get a room on the Camino. We taxied from Hornillos (25E) each way and had a very good rest.

This hotel provided an excellent overnight stop over. The manager was very welcoming. The room was very nice as was the rest of the hotel, quite ornate. Our continental breakfast was most enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.

Loved this hotel!

My daughter and I serendipitously spent a night here while walking El Camino de Santiago. It was a wonderful treat! The host was warm and welcoming, thebhotel waa beautifulnamd immaculate, and we woke up to the best breakfast we'd had in Spain so far. If ever in Spain again, we will definitely make it a point t come back here for another stay.

A lovely rural retreat

We all have different ideas of what we want from our Hotels and ours is clearly the complete opposite of the January 2014 reviewers whom one imagines would have been much happier in one of the branches of a well known chain of hotels.

We wanted a quiet calm peaceful place to unwind after a particularly stressful incident and this is what we got with Santa Coloma a wonderful tranquil paradise out in the Spanish countryside. The hotel well deserves a 3 star rating.

The hotel is very well looked after and has been recently modernised and very tastefully decorated. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The complimentary continental breakfast was exactly as one would expect and the evening meals were delicious. The staff were attentive but not obtrusive and we appreciated being left alone.

However only now (April) are the gardens coming alive so one can imagine in January they did not look attractive..

Would we stay there again – Yes most definately.

Réservation de dernière minute certe, mais la propreté laissait vraiment à désirer. Des insectes partout (morts et sec, signe que le logement n'avait pas été vérifié avant notre arrivée), toile d'araignées et poussière à gogo...
Installations vétustes, le cadre extérieur est très et charmant, mais manque clairement d'entretien

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel is located out of town in the fields and it was very quiet. We only heard the birds and frogs when we opened the window. Very nice all in all. Breakfast was included.

Hotel de type BnB au bord de l'autoroute.
Un accueil jusqu'à minuit, des chambres très bien équipées, une literie super, bref tout pour aller bien !
L'accueil est chaleureux et le petit déjeuner inclus est top, préparé par notre hôte !
Parking sur la propriété à côté de l'entrée de l'hôtel.

El mantenimiento dejaba mucho que desear, las contraventanas rotas, lo mismo que las mosqueteras por lo que no pudimos abrir las ventanas por la noche y en una junior suite sin aire acondicionado, en plena hola de calor, nos hubiera gustado para evitar el calor nocturno. Compuesta por una habitación de matrimonio, pasable, con alguna que otra telaraña y cama ruidosa, baño amplio, quizá lo mejor, y sala multifuncional con frigorífico ruidoso y camas incómodas que no dejaron dormir en condiciones a mis 2 hijos. El entorno del hotel seco y mal cuidado. Otro detalle es que en mi reserva el desayuno aparecía como gratis, cosa que el dueño me dejó claro el momento de enseñarnos la suite que no estaba incluido.

Sehr individuelle Unterkunft mit dem Charme vergangener Tage. Sehr bequemes Bett, toller kühler Pool mit guter Länge, um richtig zu schwimmen, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und starkem Kaffee und sehr freundlicher Landlord.
Außerdem kann man das Auto sicher parken und die absolute Ruhe genießen.
Weiteres Plus: Die Fenster lassen sich richtig verdunkeln. Ich habe es sehr bedauert, nicht länger bleiben zu können.

Bien mais clim en panne. Dommage!

Bel hotel au calme. Literie confortable et chambre propre et spacieuse ( nous étions 4). Malheureusement la climatisation était en panne. Alors après une journée caniculaire passée dans la voiture, autant vous dire que la nuit a été difficile avec un ventilateur d'appoint bruyant et un moteur de réfrigérateur qui chauffait la pièce. Même fenêtre ouverte, impossible de faire baisser la température! Les moustiques ont aussi été de la partie.
Piscine rafraîchissante mais ferme à 20h.
Trés bon petit-déjeuner.

A recommander pour une halte près de Burgos.

A la réception, à notre arrivée, le propriétaire a contrôlé nos températures pour le Covid 19, et cela a été apprécié. Cet hôtel est au calme, avec un cadre très agréable et des chambres spacieuses et propres. Le petit déjeuner est frugal et la piscine, génial. Le village est également très mignon à visiter.
