Hotel transfer problematic

An interesting choice for a flight layover - selected because they offered hotel-airport transport - it was a nightmare to arrange.

Best go to the ground floor and find the people who offer 'hotel transfer' and tell them where you are going - they will assist. The transfer is hourly, so if you miss one it seems to take ages.

This hotel is located close by shopping and restaurant areas. In addition, getting to subway is very convenience and not a far walking distance. Getting DiDi to your desired destination is quick. Overall, this hotel is a good place to stay. When I come back to Guangzhou in the future, I am definitely selecting this hotel again.

The hotel room and interior (lobby, gym, pool, and restaurant) were all nice, clean, and attractively designed. The staff's English skills are very limited. I think it's a really good value for the money compared to the big Western hotel chains. The restaurant was good (I had dinner and breakfast there), but again, if English is all you have, then you won't be able to order anything special. Thankfully the buffet is well-stocked with mostly Chinese food. I went for a walk in the area, but its a bit shabby and industrial. It's not in the fancy area of Guangzhou.

This was my 1st time to Guangzhou very new to the city. I didn't know this hotel is nearby to the airport. However, I have no complain although the distance travel to Tian He was a distance away. Glad my friend oriented me around.
The hotel looks old but the room was remarkable; spacious, very clean & cozy comes with a kitchen. The bed was huge + 4 pillows.
The breakfast was acceptable coz am not a foodie person or choosy. As long it can fill up my Tommy, anything to go are OK.
Concierge can converse in English & Staff are friendly and helpful.
Amenities are accessible by foot. Strongly recommended for those who intend to stay only for Transit/short stay.

High standard and very good service,
Breakfast available and would recommend,
Low level accommodation, 2 storey, Reception below road level B1

I appreciated all the nice \"touches\", the very lush towels, the extremely white and comfortable bedding, just very nice detail after detail. The shower was heaven itself on a cold day, as the shower spout was of a design I hadn't seen before which sent a deliciously comfortable flow of water over you, and there was a nice seat in the shower. I considered just sitting there under the warm water to sleep! It was set down in a rather dismal setting, rather dark in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The reception was helpful.

The hotel was fantastic. We arrived early and were able to check in. We were exhausted from our trip and the staff allowed us to eat at the buffet breakfast whilst they arranged our room. The room was spacious and very clean with fantastic amenities. When leaving the hotel the free shuttle to the airport was late so the front desk arranged a free ride to the airport so we wouldn’t be late for our flight. Fantastic !

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I needed one night near Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to catch a flight the next morning and this modern, stylishly designed hotel fit the bill. Reception staff and manager were courteous and welcoming. The special Swiss beverage (mix of juices and spices) offered on check in was a tasty treat.

The Googlemap location for the hotel was incorrect - placed it in downtown Guangzhou when it is really near the airport. Luckily the taxi driver's GPS was accurate. While easily visible from the road, we had difficulty finding the entrance. The first driveway led us into a circuitous underground garage which exited onto a local road and we had to circle around small back streets to get back to the front. Finally found a 2nd driveway directly in front that led us into a large open air parking area, but it was tricky finding the way to the hotel's front door. Better signage is needed.

Note also that the entrance is street level (floor 1), but reception is in the lower level (floor -1) and rooms are on floor 2.

Hotel's cafe restaurant is nicely appointed and offers a small, but well-curated selection of Asian and western dishes.

Rooms are clean, comfy and nicely designed with modern bath, soft linens and a small kitchenette. Wifi was hard to figure out -- interface was only in Chinese (although there is a bilingual instruction card in the room).

Free airport shuttle is efficient and convenient.

Outstanding hotel near Guangzhou Airport. They provide the most comprehensive amenities that I have seen before offered in any single hotel. Hotel was very modern and room was quite comfortable. English was a problem but manageable. Complementary Airport shuttle was convenient. Breakfast was really good but same across all 4 days we were there, a little bit of variety would have been a lot better!

Good hotel near Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

I needed to find an inexpensive hotel in Guangzhou near the Baiyun Airport for a couple of nights that is conveniently accessible to the metro lines. This hotel seemed to fit the requirement based on my Expedia research.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from the RenHe Metro Station even though it looked closer on the map. There is a major intersection that adds about 2-3 minutes to the walk. What is nice is plenty of neighbour stores and eating places near by the RenHe Metro Station to provide plenty of food choices late into the night.

The hotel lobby is oddly located on the -1 level (one floor down) from the main entrance. The restaurant / lounge is also located at the -1 level where an excellent (lots of variety) breakfast is served. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The rooms look renovated based on the layout but feels very modern and updated. I certainly had good sleep in the night if not for the loud traffic around 6am each morning. But that is typical of China anyhow as the use of horns seems very free everywhere.

The hotel offers a shuttle service that runs to or from the Baiyun Airport once an hour. I was unable to find exactly where this shuttle bus starts or stops, so I did not use the shuttle but relied only on the Metro instead.

I recommend this hotel as an inexpensive option over the big brand name hotels nearby the airport. It is not fancy or glitzy, but you will find it a reasonable place to get a good sleep.

Poor 5 star hotel. Only plus was room was big, however everything else is unacceptable. the air cond was turned to 10C but however the room stayed a constant 27C throughout the entire stay.

I don't have any good thing to say about this hotel. I can only say that the hotel and / or management is trying to save a buck. They turn off the central AC cooling at night (while you're asleep) and the whole room becomes really hot. Then I upgraded myself by paying extra to a bigger room (which they said won't have the problem) but the room was also very hot at night. The cleanliness of the hotel was terrible as the dryer/washer was not cleaned. In the course of 4 days in Guangzhou, I have changed room 3 times in this hotel. Totally unacceptable as a 5 star hotel. The front desk which was a male looked like he wasn't interested to work at all, and the English standard of this hotel is practically non-existent. I suggest staying somewhere else, which is a true 5 star hotel!

Good airport choice

I stayed one night due to the location. I caught the train from the airport to get there: two stops, easy and cheap. The next morning I used the hotel shuttle to go back to the airport. This ran hourly and worked well, taking about 15 minutes. The hotel room was a comfortable 4 stars. The neighbourhood itself is interesting and lively with plenty of local places to eat. All up an excellent choice. I will stay again.
