Furniture was mismatched.
Had to wait 5 minutes for eggs to be heated.
Butter was totally hard and toast was cold before you could spread butter.
Paid $155 for a room maybe worth $80

The room was accommodating in every way. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I missed breakfast so I can’t comment on it other than it is nice to have breakfast included in the room price. All in all I would stay there again without hesitation.

Blood stains on the curtains, floor was damaged and almost a hole in it .

Room had large gap in front door frame allowing the -9 temperature a way in. Even though we used the heater to the max, couldn't feel comfortable with the icy draft. Told the staff about the unacceptable door damage that allows cold air in and they just droned on and on about how the heater works. A real dump. Don't even take the time to do minor repairs but will charge you $170 a night. Will not be using again.

The property is very convenient to the highway and is very easy to find. The fellow at the front desk was very friendly. The room was adequate but the property is in definite need of a complete renovation. Breakfast was very basic. It was nice to have it included but it would have been nice to have more protein offerings.

My room was disgusting. After driving for 12 hrs I wanted to have a nice relaxing bath. The tub had a dirty ring around it which I cleaned. I got into the tub and noticed a pubic hair under the tap. That was disgusting. I let the water out and decided to take a shower. I reached for the rubber mat on the floor next to the vanity and noticed hair and dirt on the floor next to the mat. I did have a very quick shower and I noticed a urine smell in the bathroom. The hinges that connect the toilet seat to the toilet had no cover over the screws and there was dirt and hair and what I presume was urine on them. Needless to say there was no chance of me going into the pool. I cant imagine how unsanitary it may have been. That was the most disgusting motel room that I have ever stayed in
I assumed that by choosing the Howard Johnson motel it would be clean but I was wrong. I do not recommend that anyone stay there. I am very disappointed as it was not a cheap motel. I will not be staying at another one

Property and rooms are tired and lacking attention to detail. Outside our room a cigarette deposit thing had typed over and stunk to high heaven. Blinds in the bathroom were filthy and the foot coverlet on the bed was dirty. The staff were friendly but didn’t make up for the poor quality.

I chose this hotel because they were pet friendly. They weren't the cheapest in the area but they should have been. We had booked a king size bed but when I arrived after traveling all day, we were advised that our room had undergone water damage and we were now in a room with two queen beds. Not a dealbreaker but not what I had booked. The place didn't appear to be full. We went to our room (room 127) and opened the door. No light fixture just inside the room so it's a bit dark. I noticed a musty smell as soon as I walked in but that still didn't mean I was unhappy with the room. What did it for me was the filthy heat pump which didn't work so I was unable to turn it on to the dry setting to try to alleviate the damp smell. In the morning when I opened the curtains, the window pane was soaking wet with condensation and there was black mold growing in the corners of the windowsill. There were tiny dead bugs all stuck to the ceiling in the bathroom as well. One issue I could have dealt with. The mold is definitely a dealbreaker. I went to the front desk with photos and showed the clerk the condition of the room. She advised me that she can't give me a discount but wanted me to write down all the things I showed her and her manager would contact me. Of course, nobody contacted me. The black mold is a big problem and they better hope nobody with any clout sees it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The room itself was ok...was spacious and appeared to be clean until we started unpacking and settling in...my son opened the dresser drawer and found a pair of disgustingly worn work socks that looked like they're been there for quite sometime..i'll leave it at that....

Then in another drawer my son found a Bible thats been there for years with some very disgusting things written inside of it..more so deeply appalling, even to someone not religious!...it actually had dates written in it as well and was from years past...definitely not something anyone wants to see or read...its sick what people find amusing to desecrate...

The staff were excellent and when my rewards number didn’t appear after being queried he went the extra to ensure i obtained my points by doing a thorough search of my name and address. The room was very adequate for our needs, clean and comfortable. It was a drive up which was excellent for my wife do to some limited mobility. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

The fridge had been unplugged prior to us arriving and had resulted in a large amount of water on the floor and in the fridge which needed to be cleaned before we could us the fridge.

The entrance door appeared to have been broken into at some prior time and the workmanship of the repair could have been done better.

Staff member went out of his way to make us comfortable. Got tv working after several trips to the room. Provided paper plates and cutlery when delivery service failed to bring requested utensils.
