I had an extremely distressing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff were unprofessional, and the room looked nothing like the online photos—there were ceiling issues, taped-up fixtures, and an overall unsafe environment. As soon as I entered the room, I immediately realized it was unacceptable, so within two minutes I went back down with my bags and requested to cancel and refund my booking. Instead of assisting professionally, the manager became aggressive, raised his voice, and even made inappropriate and racist remarks. I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that I had to contact the police. No refund or resolution was provided. This was one of the most unpleasant and unsafe hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious before booking.

Would not recommend, found presumably USED panties in the couch cushion 😭. Cleaning staff did not come when the room was unattended for over six hours. The front desk was personable and the decor looked nice but sanitary conditions were questionable. Also, found a hair under the comforter after first walking into the room.

The staff member working the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. However the room was very dirty. Every surface had thick dust, grime or sticky residue on it. The curtains smelled very bad. The WiFi didn't work the vast majority of the time we were there. The mini fridge didn't work- it was barely cool. We heard the electronic chime of the front door entrance go off all day and night very loudly in our room. Some of the toiletries provided were used and half empty, like the lotion and conditioner. We were in an \"accessible room\" and the toilet did have grab bars, however the shower was a step-in tub without a bench, and only had grab bars far inside of it. None to grab outside of the tub to assist with stepping in. There weren't any bugs which is great, and again the staff were very friendly and helpful, even accommodating early check in and assisting with my bag. But it was very hard to sleep with the door chime, the Internet not working was a major problem when there wasn't cell signal in our room either, and it was just not as functional nor clean as it should have been for the price unfortunately. Very outdated and in need of some TLC.

First off- parking is first come first serve and only 15 spots. The rooms are filthy. They was wadded, chewed up gum on the night stand. Hair balls in the restroom. Bathroom door broken- if you don’t keep open you will be locked out. The comforter was stained and there was a lot of glitter on the floor. Ended up leaving and just eating the cost of the stay.

One of the most unique eclectic hotel I’ve stayed in. It brought me back to my stay at Hotel Esmeralda in Paris.The family run staff are very friendly and attentive.It’s a must see filled with a collection of antiquities and artwork. Granite and marble line the floors and walls and each floor has a beautiful sitting room. It’s a real labor of love! What a gem!
Nice neighborhood close to Corona Park and within walking distance of Flushing Meadows for US Open tennis activities.
It sits close to a main roadway if you’re noise sensitive.

No more than 2 people per room! No visitor allowed. Overnight Front desk person was excellent and so friendly! Only 10 parking spot for a >50 rooms hotel is ridiculous! Furniture is interesting if you like antique furniture and painting. Feel like you stay in a museum. Interesting but room was very small. No hanger. Every room is different!

It’s a very small hotel and when we booked, we did not know visitors are not allowed and only 2 people are allowed to be in the room only. This is a pretty strict policy and the concierge watched us and noted who comes in and out of the hotel every time we enter and exit the hotel (it made a loud ring every time the door opens).

The room is very noisy since it’s situated right next to a highway. We constantly hear motorcycles and trucks zooming by. The windows are not that sound proof and they should do a better job on sound proofing since we could not sleep at night at all from the noise.

This is the hotel we chose last time we were very pleased last time I would’ve rated last time a 5 star. So we chose to come back again. Our stay this time wasn’t as pleasant we stay a week (7 days) our phone didn’t work the whole time. We told hem at the front desk they said they fixed it but it still didn’t work. We also told them at 12 o’clock noon that we need toilet paper and clean towels at around noon 12 they never brought them up around 9 pm I had to cal them again and tell them the phone was still not working, and our towels and toilet paper were still never brought up. We waited all day to shower . We were very unhappy. After speaking to house keeping he said he would send housekeeping uo once she came uo she was very kind and prompt but didn’t speak a bit of English. We enjoy our stay very much like I said the first time . But this time was very unhappy my husband said we won’t be going back there ever again

I recently stayed at Hotel Paris in New York, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The room was freezing cold upon arrival, with ice-cold floors because they turn off the heating system completely. Even after setting it to 83°F, it remained cold, as the heater was placed under an immovable table, blocking the heat from spreading.

Multiple issues made the stay unpleasant:

Non-working lights and poor lighting overall, making the room feel dark and depressing.
Satellite TV constantly malfunctioning, requiring frequent restarts.
Extremely small sink with no space for toiletries.
Staff dishonesty—I was told I was getting the best room, but having stayed here before, I knew it was actually one of the worst.
The only positive aspect was the on-site parking lot, but that alone doesn’t make up for the poor experience.

Great experience from start, parking lot feels small but accommodates more than 10 vehicles. - Easily found a parking spot when we came in.
- During check in front desk was super nice and accommodating.
- No breakfast but the coffee and hot water station is open 24/7.
- Rooms felt dark but that is personal preference and superficial.

Overall for a one night stay I’d say it exceeded my expectations. Would highly suggest to check it out, their entry way and halls give is just a vibe. I love all their decors as I love to take pictures. For the price paid, 9/10 and no complaints from me :)

The room was close to a busy road, making it very noisy. When I checked out, the front desk questioned why there were three people in my room, even though the one other person was standing in line behind me, waiting to check out. I explained this to the front desk, but she didn’t believe me and spoke to the person behind me instead. After realizing her mistake, she didn’t even apologize.

A hotel in NYC with (limited) on-site parking included. Brilliant. The room was comfortable, and we got a kick out of the 'museum eclectic' aesthetic of the lobby. The hotel is next to a freeway, and NYC famously 'never sleeps', so it was a bit on the noisy side, but not overly so.

I booked this hotel and reserved an ADA room. They gave my room away. They refused to change the sheets and give me towels and said they put a limit on the number of towels they give guest. I stayed there a week & never asked for anything. The workers blocked the handicap parking so I could not park. The staff has poor craft of knowledge and they are rude. I wish I had read the other reviews before booking. Check in was a nightmare because I could not get into my room until after midnight. I arrived at 10 a.m. I am a disabled vet with limited mobility. I have 1-arm and I wear a leg brace.

Loved this place! It's got a fun, funky, kitschy vibe, and was a treat to explore. Delightful decor. The room's amenities were simple, but met my needs for the evening. The bed was extremely comfortable. Having a coffee maker in the room would've been nice, but the breakfast nook/business center was easy enough to access. It's near the highway, so some might be bothered by the sounds and lights from the passing traffic, but the air conditioner helped to dampen the sound.

This hotel was perfect for a visit to the US Open. The walk to the venue is approximately 20 minutes through a nice park filled with families.
The hotel room was perfectly clean and comfortable and the furnishings and decorations are fun and unique. The front desk receptionist was friendly and very helpful.

The worst hotel and experience they put an extra $50-$100 hold on your card and it takes 3 to 4 days before you see it as what the lady told me there was no hot water when I returned to my hotel room or before I left That morning and I was traveling with two kids. When I called Expedia, they lied to Expedia saying that the hot water came back at 8 o’clock in the morning when I left the hotel at nine and the rest of my family that was there for a wedding exactly at 11:30 almost 12 when check out was time and there were still no running hot water. When asked to speak to management or property owner I was told that I will not be able to get in contact with them until Monday morning.

Fun place for Forest Hills Stadium show

Fun place to stay for a Forest Hills Stadium show. Got lucky on parking with a couple spots left available when we arrived to stay the night before (a Thursday). Staff were accommodating and informative.
The decor is crazy-fun and next level kitschy which only added to the fun. Dresser furniture in the rooms were ok but either not well designed or not fully put together with the drawers not on tracks to keep from tipping and potentially falling out. Other options available made it fine for a couple nights though. Water pressure was passable.
Very accessible to public transport, had no issue getting down to Forest Hills and even taking subway earlier in day over to Manhattan for an impromptu MoMA visit.
