What a perfect place to stay! The street was bustling with restaurants and locals. There’s a taxi stand and great shopping right around the corner. In addition- the air conditioning in the room worked well throughout the night and without any loud sounds. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Rooms were cozy. To be noted: a king bed room was just two singles pushed together. Our kids room faced the street and said it was a bit noisy.
We would stay here again!

Hotel La Perle for the win!

Hotel La Perle was in a great location to public transportation and many Paris sites. We enjoyed the access to so many amazing restaurants, patisseries and boulangeries in walking distance. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel. Everyone working at the hotel was extremely accommodating and friendly. The executive suite for three people was the perfect size and the bathroom was quite spacious. The breathtaking Saint Sulpice church and fountain is at the end of the block with plenty of shades benches to relax. We loved getting a pastry and taking it to Jardin du Luxembourg just a short 8 minute walk away. Notre Dame and Musee d'Orsay are only about a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay at Hotel La Perle again and highly recommend to other travelers.

I love the area of the property and chose it based off this - sweet, quiet street of st germain and 2 blocks from the metra, perfect location. Upon entry, the lobby was updated, clean and desk person super helpful. But the rooms were quite outdated, I was surprised compared to the lobby and photos in the listing. I found many shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy but there is a pub across the street and a futbol match was on and the crowd was in the streets chanting and shouting until after 2 A.M. I faced the street on the 5th floor and it was very loud, waking me up several times. If you stay, assure there is no match on that night.

Not Worth the Money

The hotel is in a great location and street has no street traffic just pedestrian. Near Luxembourg garden which is beautiful.

The service was nice. They ironed my clothes upon requesting an iron.

However, I let them know I paid for this hotel for an engagement and requested a single bed, but it was two twins put together and the beds had an odd “m” shape where the middle was uncomfortable. The hotel asked which would I prefer I requested a singular bed. Not worth the money at all. It was so much money for very little value as the room was not as charming as the photos and the window overlooked an industrial building backyard.

Also, if you come at night from drinks or dinner a bit late they don’t tell you there may not be anyone to let you in and there is no code/key to get in. We banged on the door until they let us in, which is a ridiculous way to get back into the hotel.

Rooms are super small! Pretty area for adequate breakfast, but it is self serve and they constantly run out of food items. They have eggs that you must prepare yourself and our family along with 3 other groups had no idea how to cook them. No instructions. Fine hotel in good area, but I'm sure there are better options.

La Perle is a beautiful petite hotel in a beautiful area. The quaint streets have plenty to offer and felt very safe at all times. It wasn’t nearly as crowded as every where else we went. Very short walks to 3 different metro stations that get you anywhere in the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little dated which i didn't mind. The rooms are small, but it’s Paris and in great location. They could probably lose some of their older furniture like wardrobe and mini bar unit to create more space and modernise a little. The reason my review isn’t good is I was travelling on my own with my child and I felt they should have been more helpful. We arrived later than planned after being delayed on a very wet day and I asked where I could easily get something to eat, we were clearly in no fit state to wander the streets looking for food, I was just told there was lots of places to eat nearby. We got up to the room to change out of wet clothes and saw on the information booklet in the room that the hotel bar is open to 9:30 so we went down at 9pm and asked at the bar if possible to get some drinks and snacks and the man behind the bar acted as if we offended him telling us he was cleaning up and the bar was closed (there was another group there with a bottle of wine). We couldn’t walk outside as our shoes were wet and I was far too tired to argue so my son ate crisps we had left over and I went to went to bed hungry, which is really unacceptable when you pay so much to stay in hotel. The front desk staff were actually always really friendly, but my first night experience put me off completely. In summary, i wouldn't book for families.

We really enjoyed that the hotel was on the Rue de Cannettes and the street had at least a dozen restaurants.
The breakfast was good, with one problem. When we asked for sparkling water, we were provided with two bottles of Perrier. However, we were never told there would be a charge for those bottles. During check out at 6:00, the man at the front desk offered us bread and fruit. That was very kind. Overall, the hotel is cute, clean and well run.

The location was amazing and very convenient. We arrived late at night and realized that the bath/shower wasn't draining well. It was fixed the following morning. Thank you for the quick solution.
The room is very small and it's practically impossible to keep 2 large suitcases without moving furniture around and unpacking and putting everything in the closet which is quite inconvenient when you are staying only for 2 nights.
I wish the closet space was used to expand the room instead.
Also, there was no teapot or coffee maker in the room.

Hotel La Perle really is a little pearl in a great neighborhood. Our room overlooked an interior courtyard and was very quiet, but the hotel is located on a cute narrow street full of bars and cafes so I’d guess that rooms overlooking the street might be noisy. Nice room, probably the largest hotel room I’ve ever had in Paris and very comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet is available and fairly reasonably priced. The hotel is well- located for tourists, near many many interesting sights. Highly recommended!

We loved Hotel La Perle and hope we can stay there again! The front desk people were so kind and welcoming especially after such an exhausting flight and travel from the airport to the hotel. We are so grateful for their kindness to us! The room was super cute and very comfortable beds. The windows are sound proof which was amazing especially on such a busy street. We loved the location! The hotel was lovely, comfortable and clean. If you want a place to stay that feels Parisian, this will do it. The walk to Eiffel Tower was about 45 minutes, the Louvre approx. 25 minutes, etc. but it worked well for me, my husband and young son (age 7).

Nice quaint hotel in a central location!
Pros: friendly staff, allowed early check in. Great shower pressure. Wonderful St.Germaine location allowing for easy walking to most. Good restaurants on the street for when you are tired of walking.
Con: can occasionally hear between rooms. So if you are a light sleeper pack earplugs.
