A special thank-you goes to Riyaz and Afeef, who truly elevated our stay. Riyaz was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Whether it was arranging activities or simply checking in with us, his kindness made a huge difference. the whole all-inclusivity experience was really great. we were given a bottle of sparkling wine for VIP benefit. the staff were friendly and attentive, giving us buggy rides to the further parts of the island when we ask for.

the room and sea view itself is insane. such luxury to stay there. cozy villa with aircon amidst in heat and sun outside. the sea view is really great with the different shades of blue teeming with sea wild life. we saw a pufferfish, stingray, sea turtle. sea cucumber, nurse sharks, and so so so many fishes there.

the food and drinks included in the package was also v worth. we overeat every meal, lasting every single minute of the whole trip there. true all-inclusive experience.

check in and out, seaplane transfer was easy an well-arranged by your personal butler

really love this piece of paradise, highly recommended for all to visit cocoon maldives. we stayed in a water villa in cocoon, best decision ever.

The property is nice and the surroundings are excellent. The quality of food, however, needs to be much better. The fish, chicken, or beef they prepare is usually very hard, dry and salty. It is a matter of the chef's preferences for how to cook not the products themselves, however. A small selection of salads. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the food quality only 5. The snorkeling equipment is of low quality, so it is better to bring your own if someone wants to enjoy observing underwater life. The personnel is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The TV is in the room but with a very very limited number of channels to watch. In a 5 stars resort, it should be the much better selection.

My husband and I stayed at the Cocoon resort for three days and we had a very good time there. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and friendly. The beach and snorkeling was amazing. The only thing we didn’t like is how far the resort is from the Male airport. We waited almost 3 hours at the Male airport for a seaplane that took about 30 minutes to reach the hotel. On our way back to the airport, at the end of our vacation, the seaplane got delayed and we spent about an hour on that super noisy plane cause it made a transit stop that no one had told us about before. Which made us extremely late for our flight and we checked in only 30 minutes before take off. It was a nerve wracking experience.

From the seaplane transfer to our ward welcome from Elmar we had an amazing holiday. We loved the beautiful clean, green island with gorgeous white sand beaches and azure lagoon. The staff were absolutely amazing and caring without exception, not something I can say about any other place we’ve stayed. The manager was always visible and helped out the staff with drinks and clearing tables and actively socialised with guests. a remarkable example to his staff. The Octopus restaurant was fabulous with so much excellent choices of food and the house wine on the all inclusive was very drinkable Nazim was always on hand. The Loabi Loabi bar was great for lunchtime drinks, sundowners and in the evenings with service on hand from friendly staff whose names are too many to mention, to keeping your glass refilled with great cocktails. There was entertainment every evening which was great. The sunset bar was nice but could be so much more with a bit of work. The snorkelling was ok we were lucky enough to be in a beach villa opposite an area where there was an abundance of great fish to see including stingrays, black rays, sharks and turtles. You can take a free boat to the house reef twice a day. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they had decorated our table and staff were congratulating us all day on our celebration and to top it off Abdullah had decorated our bed with flowers and congratulations. A truly lovely two weeks.

Cocoon Maldives is definitely a good choice when it comes to the Maldives. The island itself is beautiful and the waters are amazingly blue. One can either relax at the beach/pool or go on excursions/ do watersports, the possibilities are endless.

Food is the highlight for sure: incredible variety and quality for the buffet.
The water villas are great. Some wood panels are a little old and would benefit from renovation, but it's really a nitpick.

L’ Atollo è meraviglioso e la struttura moderna, di design e pulita.
La barriera corallina è lontana, ma in compenso ogni giorno ci sono due uscite in barca e gratuite di snorkeling con maestri. L’isola é veramente incantevole, molto pulita e curata. Le camere offrono ogni comfort, hanno la canonica doccia all’esterno,molto piacevole, un letto di design, anche se il materasso è abbastanza duro. La pulizia avviene 2 volte al giorno,alla mattina entro le 11 ed all sera alle 20. La spa è piccolissima, ma le massaggiatrici sono molto competenti e brave. Il ristorante a buffet Octopus ha un livello medio, mentre il ristorante overwater alla carte “Manta” serve piatti principalmente italiani ed ha una qualità ottima. I prezzi nei vari ristoranti e bar sono nella media, e sono indicati già inclusivi di tasse e servizio. Durante la giornata sono organizzate varie attività ed alla sera musica dal vivo, dj e karaoke al bar principale “Loabi Bar”.
Alla reception per essere un 5 stelle sono talora distratti e poco attenti alle esigenze del cliente, mentre il personale dei ristoranti e bar è efficiente.
Nel complesso ospita un gran numero di persone, famiglie e bambini compresi, senza alcun tipo di distinzione nella sistemazione di famiglie e coppie. Perciò chi fosse alla ricerca di un certo senso di tranquillità e isolamento, soprattutto nei periodi di altissima stagione, ne deve tenere conto. Si tratta di una struttura buona che con piccoli accorgimenti sarebbe davvero ottima.

NO 5 STELLE! NO PESCI NO MALDIVE !

Premettiamo che non è la nostra prima volta alle Maldive in resort 5 stelle. La durata della nostra vacanza è stata di due settimane.
Il \"resort\" è il tipico villaggio vacanze 3/4 stelle all'italiana. Le camere sono belle e moderne ma essendo un 5 stelle dovrebbe prevedere cambio lenzuola giornaliero e tempestività del servizio camera...cosa che non succede. Abbiamo avuto per tre giorni le stesse lenzuola. La laguna è bella ma NON si vedono pesci nemmeno col binocolo e nemmeno un reef. Cosa inimmaginabile alle Maldive! La spiaggia è costantemente sporca e piena di coralli taglienti, oltre alla presenza di una fastidiosa draga per i lavori interni. Ogni giorno viene organizzata (alle 9 e alle 11) un'uscita con barca per lo snorkeling, sempre piena con necessità di prenotarla due giorni prima! La barca ha una capienza max di 30 px....il resort ha 150 camere! Lo staff \"water sport\" è scortese e infastidito da ogni richiesta. Abbiamo prenotato con formula All-inclusive con tre diversi ristoranti a disposizione (come da descrizione catalogo) ma in realtà tale formula è utilizzabile solo nel ristorante principale sempre a buffet con 300 coperti in un unico salone, immaginate il caos e la confusione! Nessuna privacy e intimità che contraddistinguono i 5 stelle alle Maldive. Ringraziamo chef Giovanni per la disponibilità e cortesia. Conclusione: non consigliamo il Cocoon!!!!

La perfezione non è di questo mondo ma al Cocoon ci sono andati vicini.E impossibile descrivere un esperienza ineffabile come quella appena fatta. sensazioni,emozioni già destinate all' alveo della memoria delle cose importanti.La location di indescrivibile bellezza fa il paio con la naturale accortezza del personale tutto, a partire dalle maestranze locali fino al management perfettamente rappresentato nella sua armoniosa professionalità dalle due, naturalmente gentili ed accorte ,ragazze italiane discretamente onnipresenti per attendere alle più disparate richieste.Non mi sembra pertanto opportuno soffermarmi sui dettagli, anche critici,di una descrizione che così rischierebbe di tediare anche il lettore più interessato atteso che, i difetti,qualora ce ne fossero,e ce ne sono ,sarebbero poca cosa di fronte alla bellezza e la grazia sperimentate che trasformano un esperienza concreta in un veicolo di emozioni ineffabili.

Avoid this resort!

Terrible service, not even close to 5 star resort, chose another of the excellent resorts in Maldives, this one maybe after few years when they learn how to treat their guests. Not informing of time zone, breakfast times, delaying refund 1,5 months, ridiculous prices in bar, dirty beaches and water, etc.

I been at many 5 star resorts in Maldives, Bali, Caribbean, etc. and this one probably the worst ever. Just avoid!

Чистый, новый отель, добротные и комфортные виллы, уборка отличная, сервис хороший. единственный минус - маловато фруктов для резорта такого уровня. превосходный спа-салон, брали несколько видов массажей - ни один не разочаровал, все супер. океан чистый, домашний риф далековато.

Il resort è nuovo e con arredamento di design e moderno. Il cibo al buffet è adeguato e ha un tocco di italiano. Ci sono ancora dei lavori che stanno ultimando ma non creano alcun disagio agli ospiti. Mare e spiaggia splendida, anche se senza reef. Per vedere i pesci ti portano ogni giorno con la barca fuori dalla laguna

Consigliamo le ville sulla spiaggia lato alba.
