First day of check in the door lock was not working due to law battery according to the nice cleaning lady who helped us contact the maintenance guy. The phone next to the elevator to call for help was not working. Found 2 little bugs 1 crawling in the shower floor and 1 crawling outside the shower that was nasty, not sure where did it come from but I got so paranoid sleeping at night. Also the smell of the sewer was so bad while we were walking at the back of the hotel coming from Allegiant stadium. First time staying in this hotel due to closer to the event we attended did not expect this will happen during our stay. I hope this well help get more maintenance service done so other guest will have good experience during their stay.

As a first timer, I liked the luxor! I don't get why it has a bad rep. I booked the pyramid premier king room. My room was tucked away in a quiet area of the 4th floor (purple elevators section). Since it's on a lower level, I did not try the inclinator used to access the higher floors. I did self check in via the mgm resorts app and got into my room around 2pm. The luggage drop off/pick up service was quick and convenient. I stayed for 6 nights to see bts and being able to walk back to the hotel from allegiant stadium was a HUGE advantage. Also the food at Backstage Deli located same floor as their casino was soooo good! My hubby and i tried their pasta salad, club sandwich, pastrami/corned beef and their philly cheese steak. Everything was really good but our fave was the Philly cheese steak! Theyre open 24hrs too. There was no fridge in our room but that's ok, i heard that's the standard now for Vegas. Check out was quick and easy via the app. I would definitely stay at the luxor again for future events at allegiant stadium.

The room was really clean but the first morning they started doing construction in one of the rooms at6:30 am. It was just one day but it was annoying. We had breakfast at Luxor and it was delicious. I did some shopping and staff at the stores were great. I didn’t like the non contact checking in since you search for your reservation and then have to wait for a text de they can give you the key cards. Checking out was very smoothly and quickly.overall I will stain the same hotel

The rooms did not have any usb power plugs. The bathroom door was broken and the sink faucets didn’t work properly. The few staff we saw were all nice. The restaurant The Pyramid Cade was quick and the food was good. The whole place needs an update though. Wall paper was peeling everywhere.

The room was nice, view was beautiful and AC worked like a charm. I used a kiosk for check in but staff answered my questions about parking. Breakfast is not included, but there is no shortage of food options nearby/in the resort. The pool was not as enjoyable since the water was a bit too cold and the construction right behind us made it hard to relax. Overall nice stay for good prices.

It is self checkin, but it was easy. There were long lines, but it went really fast. There is one staff member there to help if necessary. The cost and quality were satisfactory. The best part of the hotel, for us, was the location. It is near the stadium, so we wanted a place within walking distance. When we walked to our room, the corridor that we walked down made us feel like we were walking into the back rooms. Creepy! Casino was ok, but we didnt spend too much time here. The slots are too different from what we are used to and so we didnt like the machines. Also. The machines have weird bet amounts like $0.80, $1.20, etc. The food court here is convenient, but so very expensive. We got 2 meals on the street for the price of one burger and fries no drink at the food court. There were only a handful of choices, so if you want something other than sandwich or pizza, go somewhere else. Soft drinks were $6.75. Thats crazy. There are restaurants in the hotel, but none moderately priced. There was a buffet, but we did not go and I did not get the cost. Theres no shopping here that we could find. We went to other hotels and walked the strip for shopping. The pool was good. Half of the pool area was under construction, so space was limited. There were no loud pool parties while we were there (Sunday-Thursday). Free towels to use, so save your towels. Overall the stay was satisfactory, but I we will go elsewhere next time.

The room in general was okay, the restroom was a bit dirty with left-over hairs on the walls and bathtub. Sink and toilet were visibly clean but the cleaning staff did forget to add new toilet paper so I had to request some. Staff by the keys check in/out were nice and helpful. I did not try any other amenities so I can’t say much about it. Wifi was very slow to the point my phone overnight was on SOS mode only, and the wall connectors for charging were very slow too. I slept comfortably but also the walls are very thin so I could hear lots of noise from the hallway at all

The room was spacious, and the bed and bathtub were wonderful, but there was no bottled water, no refrigerator, and no kettle to boil water in the room. I was used to all of these being provided in hotels in Japan and Korea, but this time I had to buy water for a fee. However, I suppose that's unavoidable given the current high cost of living.

Good value compared to other hotels on the strip. It's a bit dated, but rooms are clean and a good temperature. Has good shows on the property and a decent sized pool. Restaurants are hit or miss. Sportsbook is pretty small but gets the job done. Ventilation on casino floor could be better, smells heavy of cigarettes.

The room was clean and the bed was excellent. On the downside the shower did not drain properly. When you competed your shower you were standing in over an inch and a half of water. It took over 30 minutes to drain.

The Luxor is a destination. No matter where you plan to go, be prepared to walk. 24 hour food court. Easy access to Duece bus, tram, Allegiant Stadium within walking distance. Just as easy skywalk access to neighboring hotels (shopping). We stayed in a double Queen suite. Comfortable with interesting decor. Would stay here again.

It would have been nice if the hotel website had been updated to notify guest ahead of time of the large pool being closed due to repairs.

The front desk had 2 agents working. We had an issue with our reservation and were not given access to even speak to a front desk agent until maybe 2-3 hrs of back and forth with the lobby ambassador. It was ridiculous. When we finally were able to check in, the room was a huge disappointment. Old. Dated. Nothing like the picture of the room we booked. The entire hotel was run down and old. After paying almost $1000 all in for a 3 night stay, I wish I had booked somewhere else

Super outdated!! Definitely not the most convenient location because you’re at the end of the strip and not close to much. The rooms need some serious updating. We were stuck in Vegas due to a blizzard back home and this was a cheap option for what we needed. Restaurants inside the hotel were good and Starbucks was conveniently located.

The hotel is difficult to navigate, but the check-in and check-out process were easy. It’s an older hotel but in a great location. The minimal staff we interacted with were kind and helpful.

The location was perfect for our needs. We attended a concert at Allegiant Stadium and could not have been happier with the ease of transporting between the two. It was an easy walk. We also liked the tram availability to get from our hotel to others. Our room was also surprisingly quiet. With so many people in town for the AMAs and the BTS concert, we expected to hear excitement through the walls but we slept great and had no noise issues.
We will definitely be back. I even joined the Rewards program because I plan to make the Luxor our go to hotel when in Vegas.

During our 6-night stay, we had to call 5-times to have the room cleaned. Very disappointing. The one day that they did come without us calling, it was too early and we asked them to come back after 1:00pm. They did not return. I finally went to the front desk to address the issue and was told that upon check-in, we opted out of cleaning services. I assured them that we had not, because I had been calling daily to have the room cleaned. Beautiful property, but very disappointing.

Outdated hotel. They sold out of two queen bed rooms so they gave us a king and a rollaway bed. The only pool we passed was closed. We were there for the bts concert so the proximity was close to the arena. But they need to revamp this hotel because it’s a great theme and great location.

The best way I could put it is that the room was not worth the price. Bathtub wasnt fully clean. The resort fee felt ridiculous considering that the pool is being renovated which we didnt find out about until we got there, the dining is so overpriced its insane. Certain staff members were quite rude. Honestly the only reason im not super upset is because I booked the room simply to be close to allegiant stadium, and that it was. Wouldnt exactly recommend though. Just stay somewhere else on the strip and take pictures inside if thats your thing.

I booked the Luxor mainly for a concert at Allegiant Stadium, and the pedestrian walkway to the venue was extremely convenient. That was the best part of the stay.

The self-service kiosks also do not consistently support tap-to-pay even though it appears they might; when I asked for help, the response was rude rather than helpful.
Parking was another major issue. There is no clearly designated system for hotel guests, and during events the lot appears to prioritize non-guests. When we arrived, the attendant even said there “might” be parking inside, which felt unacceptable for paying hotel guests. It was frustrating and disorganized given the resort fees being charged.
Overall, while the location for Allegiant events is excellent, the aging rooms, pool construction, lack of amenities, parking situation, and poor service made the resort fees difficult to justify.

The good thing was it was close to the concert venue and had a lot of concert goers there.
Not so good- Tablet check -ins with no explanations. No explanation of how to access the wifi which as not very good, the cable tv stations were lacking. The slanted travel of the elevators were scary. Food prices were high. There was no place to sit if you did not want to gamble.
Transportation was expensive. I will not go there again.

The room was pretty clean. I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely needs update at least in the pyramid. While the elevators are cool or inclinators as they call them. They are older and a lot of peeling paint. Carpets are old school. Not a bad thing but at least they could be new. But overall it was quite nice and I would consider it. Budget luxury. Judging that I always book through Expedia, I was surprised the check-in wasn't as soothing as it was. I assumed an early check-in wouldn't be a problem but the confirmation number from Expedia is not the one you enter in the system.

Do not book with Expedia they change everything. Flights changed from one way to a stop and layover. I booked a cot for the room.and when I got to hotel they said they have never approved of a cot for that room because of fire regulations. Our room was cleaned once in 5 days and we had to constantly ask for towels, toilet paper and garbage bags.

Stay in the tower rooms as they are remodeled and have better lighting. Check in is via kiosk, which is inconvenient as you don’t see a detailed billing report. If you need to make any changes, you need to go to customer service, but prior to entering the lane, you will be questioned by a staff to obtain permission to enter that lane. There is no checkout, which means you are unaware of any of your billing details. If you want any information regarding your bill, you need to go out of your way and even then you have to navigate to obtain that information.

The hotel was dirty. The public areas were never cleaned. The elevators were terrible dirty all the time.No matter what time of the day you went down or up. Housekeeping is only set for certain hours of the day. They do not come back if you have a Do Not Disturb sign. You're supposed to call them and make an appointment for the next day, the only people that were great were the front people bellhop, especially enconcier.

There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms which is a challenge when ordering food in. My room was above the rideshare drive through and drivers were honking till after 1am.

I only chose the hotel because of the closeness to Allegiant stadium. The hotel needs a major overhaul. And when did the refrigerator start being rented. Even small budget hotel have standard refrigerator in their hotel. No need to rent out. You can hear the outside noise too in my room so I did not get a restful sleep. My last stay in Luxor was in the 90’s when it still fairly new so was shocked and disappointed by the outdated look. I hope you renovate soon.

Silver Tower was nice. Beds were comfortable. I would encourage you to walk the lobby floor and casino floor. So you can find all the exits and access points to walk to other MGM properties.
The casino does well with ventilation if you don't like smoke like me and I didn't gamble but the casino has restaurants and you walk through it to access spa and pools.

Be careful of the resort fees because they stack up and this place is self service so make sure that you pay very much attention to upgrading your room because there’s really not much of an upgrade. There was an upgrade available for me thinking that I would get additional amenities when I already had a king-size room reserved. Come to find out there’s no refrigerator. There’s no coffee machine. There’s nothing here for hot water. It’s a plain dry Bare bones room. I should’ve read the fine print and that’s on me, but I figured this may serve for a warning for others. Aside from the room being very clean room Service comes here very early and that makes it hard to communicate to them because they didn’t service our room at all. They come here around 8:30 or nine in the morning and I don’t think they came back.

Check in was a nightmare for me. I drove in to stand in line for self check in. No \"Welcome to Luxor\" greeting. It was stressful after driving hours cos some things I didn't understand and the lady was rude when I asked for help. After the kiosk, wait for a text to make your own keys. I asked for directions to my room and 4 employees told me to use the green elevator when it was the red one. A security lady walked us to our room. I had to call for my room to get cleaned. The cleaning lady said they couldn't pay her to stay at Luxor after knowing what she knows. Not very comforting to hear as a guest. Gambled and the drink lady asked what I wanted then never came back. Breakfast at pyramid cafe was mediocre. They didn't have green onions or even French vanilla creamer. I mean Denny's does. French toast was hard and dry. Carpets in room looked so old and dirty. Wore slippers in my room the whole time. Towels weren't soft or fluffy. You can tell they're old towels. Basic tv. Would've been nice for HBO for early mornings or late evenings. No USB plugs in room. Just normal outlets. Checkout lady wasn't friendly either. I only stayed there cos it was close to Allegiant for BTS ARIRANG concert. Wouldn't stay again or recommend it.
