This was a fantastic place and fantastic value stay; the room, kitchenette and bathroom were immaculate - super clean. The room was really well decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the shower was hot and had great water pressure. There was a nice view of the garden.
Everything was brilliantly designed and worked. For example, the bedside light had both a USB A and USB C charging point underneath; the first I’ve seen to have both.
When I called ahead because I’d be arriving late, Bettina was super helpful and then, when I was checking out, Grace could not have been more brilliant, giving me directions to where I was going, offering to store my luggage. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Tonder.
One tiny thing, if you have heavy luggage or have any mobility issues, you might want to request a ground floor room as you have to go up a metal staircase for the first floor. I was on the first floor and felt very secure. Plus it’s four minutes away from Tønder station. Highly recommended.
