The property is decieving at first view , old besser brick. The gardens and piol are meticulously maintained, and the rooms have comfortable, clean fresh beds, clean updated bathroom and good coffee, tea making facility with toaster and microwave. So very clean and well stocked. The staff and feel of the whole place is friendly and amicable. Such a pleasant stay for the affordable price. Thankyou Renmark Motor Inn.

Renmark is a nice town.

Stayed one night in Renmark at the Renmark Motor Inn. It's just out of town. Our room (12) was smallish in size but anything we needed in the room was in good working order. There is under cover parking at the front door which is handy and the bed was comfortable. You can't fill the jug at the vanity without using a glass. Could do with new carpet and a new lounge.

neat and tidy, bathroom was clean. Location is good with MacDonalds, KFC and OTR with Hungry Jacks right next door if you get the munchies. Not really walking distance from town centre, but only a short drive.

After staying 4 nights at a so called reputable hotel in Melbourne, the Renmark Motor Inn Hotel was a breath of fresh air.
This is country hospitality at it's best, comfortable bed, television and an upgraded bathroom and out the front of your room undercover parking.
All of this at a very affordable rate, when you are just wanting something to relax, you would be stupid to not spend time at this place.

No power to wall with TV and fridge connections and we were told no other units available. We had to use an extension lead from bathroom to run TV and fridge - very unsafe to have lead in a wet area. We taped it down as no help offered by staff. We asked for a discount and were given only $15. If we had not pre-paid, we would have left immediately. We are around 70 y.o.and never stayed in such a place. We’ll be telling as many people as possible to NEVER stay at Renmark Motor Inn. Very disappointed in Wotif for even offering this accommodation.

The good about it is alitle small garden. The worse part is the room. Although we booked like the most expensive room in the motel, it was very sad room. The rooms didn’t have window to open and the room was very smaller then the picture shows. Didn’t have kitchen facilities. If anyone wants to go having good time there are other hotels in renmark too . The bathroom door locker was broken.
The worst part is it’s small and very upset room with no air .

The property is very tired. The bed was comfortable. The sofa was positioned at right angles to the TV, making it impossible for 2 to sit there and watch TV. The shower ran hot and cold for both showers in the morning. The property was very clean. Although it was cheap at $125 a night, I have stayed at far superior properties for the same price. I would not stay here again.

It's the classic 1970s motel - small rooms, concrete block walls, funny ventilation in the walls, room service delivery door. It was a step back to my childhood!

The room has been upgraded quite nicely and it suited our needs well. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked. Everything was clean.

Friendly staff; clean rooms with microwave, fridge and good aircon. Only issues: first room there was no blockout blind and morning sun was very bright. In second room blinds were blockout but there were large gaps and a bright light right outside the room - so there was light all night. Also second room was near office and there was lots of noise from the adjacent property from trucks or something. This prior to 7am. All that said would stay there again.

The first thing to note about the property is that the map is deceptive. It appears to be part of a town centre but is actually out on the highway between 2 fast food joints.

The second thing is that the night I stayed, there were many utes parked. That’s no problem per se, but clearly points to the place catering to a non-tourist market.

And that might explain the rather offhand, bored reception we received upon arrival. I learned from the tourist centre that the business has changed hands in recent months. I have no idea if the woman at reception was the owner or had just been hired to run reception.

She wasn’t rude or nasty, just supremely disinterested in us or our comfort. She did, to be fair, ask if we needed a wifi password and thanked us for booking the room. And maybe she was tired, or just having a bad day.

But we got the distinct impression she thought of us just as something to be endured. We got no welcome, no introduction, no offer of further help if needed, and certainly no information about where might be good to visit or eat, etc.

If the business mainly deals with workers who don’t need small talk, this approach would make sense. But we were clearly visitors. Maybe I’m getting old, but I expect what I described above as basic customer service. If this lady is unable to recognise the difference between workers and tourists, she needs training. If she is unwilling to offer a friendly welcome, she should look for another job.

Walking distance to several takeaway food outlets and shopping centre. Parking under cover. Room has good size fridge, toaster and microwave. Room is quite spacious with 2 seating options. Is on the main road so there is some road noise but we didn’t find it problematic. Already booked our next stay.
