Hotel is in need of repairs. The shower didnt drain so water would stand in the tub. Bed is hard pillows flat. Room ceiling has patch spots everywhere floor had food crumbs left from previous guest. Black hairs were in the bed and on the towels.

I’m filing a claim. This place was gross. We walk in and our room was not clean. There was something sticky in the floor, dust all around the bed, wasn’t swept and there was hair in the tub. Our neighbors dog barked all night long and the entire hotel smelled like weed. We couldn’t turn on our air conditioner and when we asked to cancel after only being there for 2 hours they manager gave us a hard time and was not accommodating at all! This was my worst hotel stay ever. Gross.

Stop in Troy or keep going to Sydney

We booked a King or Queen room, 500 Square feet. We decided on the hotel based on its location, the photos and the reviews seemed good. I wish we had dug deeper into the reviews, we would have found many many people with the same complaints we have.
Our room was nowhere near 500 square feet and we were given two double beds, much too small for the two of us. When we requested a refund since they didn’t have what we booked and paid for, they refused. We tried contacting customer service at hotels.com and they couldn’t do anything because even after 3 calls from the hotels.com reps they insisted they had given us the room we booked and refused to refund.
This hotel feels like it’s stuck in 1998, surly front desk worker and all. It was also more expensive by $70 then the Holiday Inn’s in the neighbouring towns Troy and Sydney. The hotel is old, smells like smoke, the lobby looks nothing like the photos. The bathroom door nearly touches the toilet when you try to close it, the caulking in the bathroom has pink mold.
It’s just yuck and the staff make it even worse.

The hotel is right next to the Armstrong Air and Space Museum, so it is very handy. The room was clean, but did have a stale odor. Also, the hallway was smokey in the morning even though smoking is not allowed.

Thai property was well kept and had a clean look. It is close to the interstate, so a bit noisy at night time. Delicious breakfast with many hot items. Room was clean; comfortable bed and pillows; good quality towels; plenty of water pressure and hot water. Within walking distance or downtown shops and restaurants (1 mile), and right next to the Armstrong Space Museum.

There was Peeling paint and loose wall paper in the bathroom… old, discolored caulking and a large, gaping hole behind the toilet. There was dirt accumulated in the corners of the room and the shades didn’t work. It was certainly not a room worth using my 300points!

The only thing I didn’t like was that a room with 2 queen beds was ridiculously priced at 191 a night and another property in Plymouth Indiana raised the price of the same room to 290 a night because of a football game. I thought a big company like Holiday Inn Express would treat their customers better; not price gouge. I will try to avoid having to stay at their hotels again.

The “hot food” for breakfast was barely warm. Even though the staff was friendly I don’t think we’ll choose this location again when traveling thru!

Excellent hotel! We stayed here one night while on a road trip from Texas to Ohio to Chicago. Hands down this was the best hotel experience we had during this stretch of the trip. Check in was super easy, everyone was extremely nice, bfast was a great and their indoor pool was open. The room was clean, the ac was cold and the beds were comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!!

Toilet barely flushed, Leaking from light fixture in bathroom flooded the floor tub would not properly drain.. Spoke to front desk more than once was assured these issues would be fixed they weren’t. we showered off site due to these issues overall experience was not pleasant but we had no choice but to stay since our room was paid and we traveled over 8 hours… Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed just for 1 night. Everything was great. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable, there was a microwave, keurig, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was okay. The water wouldn't drain when I took a shower, and there was no conditioner in the container on the wall. But they served an amazing hot breakfast. First hotel Ive stayed at in the past year that has done this. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of towels. Any needs we had were promptly met.
The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been if breakfast was served until 9:30am as was stated to me upon check-in. We came down at 9am and found they had already stopped restocking the hot breakfast items and then they promptly locked the cases and closed up the doors by 9:25. Sheesh…
We went earlier the next morning and didn’t have a problem then, but still I feel that if that’s the way it’s handled, it should have been communicated at check-in that breakfast is served til 9, and any remaining items are available til 9:25.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and will plan to stay again another day.
