Very clean room, professional and friendly staff - everything was great, except for some noise - sometimes from outside (probably garbage collectors), sometimes from inside (thin walls, noise from neighbouring toilets or, occasionally, mannerless customers/tourists). Still, the quality of the services was excellent.

Our room was simple, but spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. It's an older property that has clearly been updated a time or two, but their next major update should be to move onto electronic key cards. They still use the older metal keys on a large heavy fob that needs to be left at reception upon going out. Convenient central location close to Central and Garibaldi stations. And decent enough that we'd stay again.

Easy check in and 24 hour front desk staff. I had a single room that was small but had what I needed. Good AC. Although I didn’t eat there, it had a restaurant and bar that seemed to always be busy. Walking distance to the train station. Area around it may not look the best but that comes with being close to a train station. I walked home late at night and had no concerns.

Luckily we only had one night here. Although the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms were very drab and uninviting and not somewhere you wanted to be in for long. The room next door was very noisy and sounded like children running around. We were informed that not all the rooms belonged to the hotel, but they did move us to a quiter room. The area around felt unsafe, especially for two women and was extremely dirty, litter everywhere. I would not recommend this area to stay in.

It’s a well connected hotel near Train station. But the area is very dirty ,smelly around it. So many beggars and illegal migrants roam around. Felt unsafe specially in the night.

The hotel staff is very good both the lady and the young man. Stay there if u wanna explore Pompei ,Positano etc and come on time in the night.

Asked for a quiet room, but got a room right by the stairs. It was very noisy as people went up and down the stairs all day. The hotel does not have an elevator from 2nd to 3rd floor, and the stairs are narrow. The room was poorly maintained. There were many broken items. To the hotel owner: Do you not have money to buy new hangers?

Now, the neighborhood - The hotel is located by Napoli Centrale. The neighborhood is sketchy, full of migrants from Africa. I think the price is too high for what is offered.

Took my money before I arrived.

The hotel was quite nice and very convenient location for the central station.
But I had elected to pay at the hotel...yet they took money from my credit card two days before I arrived. They said this was to guard against fraud. But Ive never had another hotel do that...and I travel a lot.
They should just make it clear they want payment up front...that would be fine. But to just take it with no warning is totally unacceptable to me.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Lots of communication and they were able to help us out with a travel cot, non-smoking room and even a last minute late check out. Breakfast was excellent - best coffee I’ve ever had at a hotel breakfast. While the area around the station was a little busy it didn’t disturb us and we never felt unsafe.

Did not have the shared access to a fridge as advertised, however the main desk said they had a fridge they could keep things for us and since it was a 24hr desk, then we would always have access if we needed our items. Also didn’t have a water dispenser as advertised. Thankfully there’s plenty of water fountains all over town to refill your bottle. Overall not bad. Area around is dirty and rundown for sure with sus people around. However, they never bothered and kept to themselves. Never felt unsafe but for sure need to keep aware of your surroundings.

Great staff, especially Giano and Marcello who were super welcoming and helpful. The double room was smaller than what I thought I'd get but as I was alone, I didn't mind it. It would have been way too small for 2 people though. The bathroom was not very large but it looked newly refurbished and was working well. The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was continental, served from 7 am to 10 am. The hotel is conveniently located within minutes of the Central train station, about 20 mn walk from the historical side of Naples. The streets around the hotel didn't feel too safe or clean though, so I used to come back early to avoid being out there at night. Please note the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor. If your room is on the 3rd floor, you'll have to use the stairs from the 2nd floor, not a big issue if you have small suitcases but it can be annoying if you have large pieces of luggage. Vending machines are available throughout the hotel for water and drinks. The hotel also has a restaurant and offers in room dining options.

Having stayed at the Decumani Hotel De Charme on the way in, this hotel was a bit of a come down. It's very close to the train station but the area is pretty rundown and quite away from the centre. The room was fine but looked better on the photo. The staff were excellent but during breakfast, the staff were singing along to the music (why play pop music in the morning?) which displayed a lack of professionalism. The staff at the previous hotel were beyond courteous, while here they were a little 'rough and ready'. Overall, fine, but nothing special.

It is very well situated, almost across the street from the train station, surroundings are not that pretty and felt not so safe. Rooms are small, and elevator reaches only the second floor, so if you are on the third floor, you must carry your luggage via stairs. The restaurant is not so good and expensive for Napoli.

It’s so hard to rate this property. The staff were fantastic, in particular Marcello on reception.
The hotel is very dated and needs a makeover. A shower over the bath just doesn’t cut it these days.
The area around the hotel is very dirty and seems unsafe, but I wasn’t harassed at all. There are lots of police and soldiers in and around the station.
Overall, I’d go back again but some people may need to be wary of the location.

We booked this hotel as a stopover on our way to Sorrento. We arrived late and were only staying for one night. The staff were polite and helpful, food was served late and the hotel was clean. I’ve read complaints about noise. Yes the bar area was noisy but we were only one floor up and and over the bar but our room was quiet. We were next to the road and couldn’t hear the traffic in the morning. Breakfast was good value for €10. The hotel is near the central train station and the area is what you’d expect for such an location. I’m not sure I’d have wanted to explore the area at night! For the price we paid and the convenience of an overnight base, I’d recommend.

Folks that left reviews that they left before checking in or checked out early due to poor neighborhood I think live very sequestered lives. The entire city of Naples is filled with energy, grit, generosity along with some next level antiquity. Bring ear plugs though!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and the woman who helped us at check-in was not very friendly. Seeing that we arrived with suitcases and were hot, she didn't even come out and said in a rude manner that we must pay the hotel fee right now. She handed over the key, indicated where the elevator was and that was it. I'm not asking for a party every time a guest arrives but empathy would be great for us visitors. Then we asked for a fan and she sent a technician to check the a/c who said it was working fine but I needed a fan because the heat was really horrible. This technician said she would call us in 2 minutes and she never called. When her shift changed we called again and the gentleman who helped us was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast is good but they limit it because they have a gentleman who serves you, they don't let you use the tables unless it's with small trays...I felt like I was in a military dining room. There is a restaurant in the hotel for dinner but it is closed so there are no places to eat in the area and really because it is right next to the Central Station it is not very pleasant to walk around, it is unsafe.

Very nice hotel, spacious, bright room. However I give it a 3 star overall, because the walls were very thin. Every morning I could hear the person in the next room when they use their toilet. The loud sounds of water and the usage of the bathroom facilities kept waking me up a lot earlier than I'd like to. And for me sleep is very important, especially on a holiday, disturbing my sleep results in deduction of 2 stars. However everything else about the hotel is perfectly fine.

Really close to the train station is what we desired. Although you need to walk through a couple “sketchy” blocks to get to the historic areas, if you are used to big cities this should be an issue. The hotel was really nice for the price. The rooms are a little small but comfortable (we had a quadruple room). The bar and lobby area was nice to sit and play cards and have a drink or two. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

I would have given all 5 stars but our shower drain was draining super slowly. We would forget to inform the front desk about this as we rushed out every day to our scheduled activities and would arrive super tired so would forget to tell the front desk about this. Otherwise I assume they would have fixed it.

Other than that minor inconvenience, everything else was good: clean, convenient (5 minutes or less walk to main train starion), close to some great bakeries and coffee places, and staff was friendly. The Metro was also in the main train station so it was so nice to take it to the main attractions. The old downtown area was a short walk away too.

Lovely older hotel with lots of charm, close to the railway station. On a quiet side street with lots of cafes. Room was comfortable. Sounds from the hallways echoed into the room. There was a school group but overall they tried to keep the noise down. Maybe rooms should be booked away from where groups are staying.
