Staying here was eye opening. When getting into our room it was very musty smelling but for the most part clean. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud and sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. The vanity light was broken so they took the nightstand light to have a little light. No soap or conditioner in the dispensers. Only was given 1 washcloth for 2 people and 1 body towel and 1 hair towel available to 2 people. The TV did not work nor the remote. The breakfast available was 4 pieces of bread and 1 bagel. The orange juice was warm and no fresh fruit just available, store bought fruit cups. I don't want to sound ungrateful but I was paying for this, I was not receiving anything for free. We thought this stay would have been better

The check in was great. Once in the room we noticed small ants in the bathroom. When getting ready to check out the ants were really bad on the carpeted area by the fridge. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-10am. We showed up at 8am and there was one milk container, and a few pieces of bread for toast. Another guest walked in shortly after us and asked about breakfast when the front desk staff told him that what was out is all there is left. I do not feel that after paying over $200 for the night that I should not have a FULL breakfast in the morning that is supposed to be provided. I'm very unhappy with their choice of not restocking the breakfast area when it was not busy and the front desk was just sitting there playing/watching his phone.

I checked into my queen room about 10 pm June 4. The TV would not turn on because the desk clerk did not tell me that the TV needed to be turned to HDMI 2 to turn on. The house phone was dead when I tried to use it to report the issue to the front desk and it was still not working on the second night
stay. Also, there was no Kleenex in the room either day. I was told the shipment didn’t arrive.
The room was adequate otherwise but is badly in need of an update

The staff were very kind and friendly. The property is a bit old, but seems to be well-maintained and it sounded like there may be some updates in the works. Although it's not as close to downtown as some other options, the location was easy to get to and there were some great restaurants and shops nearby, including a very cute cafe just behind the hotel in a former bank. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were unfriendly and rude. Did not have ironing board as advertised. Given only one washcloth but 2 of the towels. Found spiders in bathroom. Floor was not vacuumed behind couch. Continental breakfast was a joke. Would not recommend at the price of $170 per night.

It was easy enough to check in and the lobby looked nice and clean. We were greeted in our room by a large spider on the wall but I get that could happen almost anywhere. Room was clean enough, beds pretty comfy, sparse on the towels, plenty of parking, This is a decent place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep.

Our bathroom was had hair in the tub and on the toilet. Unfortunately I checked in at midnight and was too tired to deal with it until I got up that afternoon. Tv didn’t work so they switched me to another room which also didn’t work and the phone was disconnected so I had to keep going to the main office to get help. Ended up just sucking it up and showering before leaving for the day to prepare for the wedding we were in town for. My parents checked into their room, saw the cleanliness state, and immediately asked for a refund and left. I also checked out two days earlier after seeing that my family’s rooms were in the same state as mine. The staff was as helpful as they could be, but it was just really dirty and old.

Not sure how Expedia rated this at 2 stars. The “Inn” is misleading, as it is a motel, with room doors opening to the parking lot, which faces busy state highway.
I could not accurately assess the cleanliness of the room as it was very very dark, with poor lighting. The bathroom was clean, and lighting was acceptable once the fan/heating element was turned on. The bed was uncomfortably soft with scratchy, threadbare linens and lumpy pillows. The door and walls had scratching and bare spots. The only positive I can add is the friendly front desk staff.

It was fine, convenient for what we were doing. Our door key did not work after the second day and we had to get it replaced. The TV was a mystery and it took quite a while to get it working. The room was clean enough and the bed comfortable but overall very dated and the furniture in need of replacement. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Do not expect much from the continental breakfast - very sparse.

This dated hotel has pleasant and is clean. The rooms are spacious and beds are decent. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance to the hotel and others in the proper downtown area.

The hotel offers a breakfast. The break is at the registration building. The regular coffee option is decent. The fare includes the ultra processed boxed cereal, a Sysco egg and patty croissant, bagels (2 types) and Jiffy peanut butter packages and a cream cheese. Other than the coffee, It is … a disappointing option.

I stayed overnight to compete in a bike race on Carlton. It was quiet, parking is ample, and it is place I would—despite the above—stay again at given its proximity to Carlton and professional staff.

This hotel was very disappointing for the price I paid. The sheets were scratchy, the towels were tiny, there was only 1 washcloth for 2 people, there was damage to the bathroom wall in rm. 101 that should be painted, the bath fan did not work, the shower head hit me at eyelevel, the latch on the window was minimal. Not worth $138.00

NOT AS PICTURED!!! My room had ants!!! The carpet had a big hole!! The inside of the door was peeling!! The door didnt close securely!! No smoking signs posted but a man was smoking outside my door. The staff was great! The room was clean, but you could tell it had seen some things..lots of patching on the walls. It would have been nice to have a table and chairs to sit at, and maybe one extra pillow. There were only 3 thin ones, so if you’re staying with someone, one of you is going to get the pillow shaft.

\"Breakfast\" is very loosely defined here. As long as you don't mind toast or a bagel you'll be happy.
Staff was marginally unfriendly and one thin blanket in the room with no extras.
Won't stay again. Spend the extra $20-$30, I know I will next time.

Room appeared very clean although the property is of another time when Motels were the best bet for overnight stops. There is considerable effort to keep it in good condition and provide amenities. A giant TV screen is the top feature in my room. The shower had plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the morning breakfast bar had no coffee.. they were “ waiting for the delivery” The one thing most important to a traveler is fresh coffee in the morning. Even some instant coffee is better than no coffee. But there was all the other items available such as yogurt, mini muffins, bread & bagels to toast with cream cheese portions. It’s family run & they are all very helpful to make one’s stay comfortable.

The room smelled terribly i wish i brought a glade plug in, the bedding was old, and the \"blanket\" had holes in it. The king sized bed had 4 very flat standard pillows, the shower had a hair clog that prevented draining, the tv was all in spanish, continental breakfast was a bagel or

I checked in on October 11 for one night, one person. Immediately had a problem in accessing the room as the lock key in a form of the card didn’t work maybe made it back to reception got another key was told that yes they’ve been having problems in that department. Next morning, I discovered that the shower/tub faucet didn’t work. It just would not turn on. It was obvious that it was broken. Right away questions popped up: how could the housekeeper cleaning the bathroom not notice that she/he didn’t have the water available to clean the tub. Why wasn’t this problem reported to be repaired.

I called the office and reported the problem. The young clerk was sorry. To solve the problem I asked for another room that I can go to and just take a shower without disturbing anything else in that room.
Luckily, there was another room available. It was Sunday and by now due to this problem I missed a good part of a memorial service that I was in town for.

I asked for reduction of rate and was told that this clerk was not able to do that without the managers approval. It being Sunday manager was not there.
I was told by the desk clerk to leave my name and phone number and that he will relay what transpired and she, the manager will will get back to me. To be fair I waited for two weeks to allow management ample time to address my request.
Well, nothing happened so I decided to post this review.
