A bit run down but still nice enough if you are just passing through. Wouldn't stay if vacationing there. Empty parking lot but we were still charged $15 to park. Skipped breakfast.

I found the many available cozy settings to be remarkable. After dining, there were comfortable settings for socializing or seclusion for cocktails. I found a nice spot with a view of the lake behind the property to sit and listen to my music. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Scandic Valdres is an older hotel in the beautiful Fahernes area. We were there for a family reunion and it was the perfect location. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and on site parking was good but sometimes crowded and had to park a lot away. Overall good stay.

Large hotel which had been modernised in parts . Check in was a bit of a shambles as we were allocated a room that had not been cleaned or beds made.
Room comfortable overlooking the lake, but no glasses or mugs in the bathroom.
Good evening meal and a reasonable breakfast in a very large old fashioned din8ng room. I am a Scandic member.

Disappointing experience

You are better to just look at the hotel from the outside- the exterior looks nice but then you go inside and it’s a sad situation. Bar and restaurant were closed - the pool you had to go outside in minus weather and walk around the building to enter - the tv didn’t move to be able to watch in bed - and unfortunately the room wasn’t so clean. The price is way too much at 1500kr for a basic room for what you’re getting. You expect more from a Scandic hotel.

It was a fleeting visit for work of one night. I arrived quite lateans missed out on the restaurant by 10 minutes, which was a bit of a shame. The room was great, nice breakfast, lovely view from the breakfast room.

Frokost er bra men middag er dyrt og litt velger.
Er på første gang besøket på Rakfiskfestival i Fagernes og fikk hotell personalet god informasjon om festivalen. Bestilte to personer rom og fikk en familiens rom for fem. Hotell har veldig flott utsikt og nært til alt. God opplevelse!

Roadtrip til Fagernes

Hotellet er veldig lytt, så da jeg fikk noen i etasjen over dom drev med danseskole på gulvet til langt på natt var det litt ugreit. Ellers bra opphold. God frokost.
Reagerte dog på at man må brtale for parkering på hitellets parkering som gjest. Via hotels.com stod det gratis parkering, mens på hotellets egen side var beløpet oppgitt.

Bortsett fra litt dårlig renhold på rommet (badet var bra!), så var oppholdet veldig fint! Men tydelig støv/skitt på gulvlister og store hybelkaniner under sengen trakk ned inntrykket. Et utrolig bra treningsrom og flott bassengområde med badstue!

Rommet var veldig lite og trangt, sengene var harde og ukomfortable med kun kun en liten pute. Det var kun en liten stol på rommet noe som er for dårlig når dette er et dobbeltrom og man ofte er to personer der. Natten ble veldig dårlig pga masse støy og bråk fra rør og dører som slamret. Når det er så lytt at man i tillegg kan høre naboen snorke da er det på tide å oppgradere hotellet. I tillegg var prisen alt for høy i forhold til standarden.

Det som var bra med hotellet var beliggenheten, fellesarealene og frokosten.

Skuffende opplevelse av rom, flott lounge og bar

Fikk et slitent rom 246. Seng virket ustø(løse ben?), badet hadde knuste fliser på gulv, brennmerker på vasken og opplevdes fryktelig trangt. I dusjen var det tilløp til sopp i hjørnene og ved sluk. Helt ok frokost. Gl.fritt brød lå i kjøleskap, noe som gjør det fryktelig tørt.
Synes ikke rommet stod i forhold til pris.
Spisesal og bar var flotte rom.
