Great hotel average service

I frequent this hotel often, was a bit disappointed this time, wifi was painfully slow, the chef at the breakfast counter was very busy using her smart phone and dint focus much on my instruction. Staff dint seem to care or greet patrons, don’t know if there was a management change. May stay at the Hilton next trip.

used as a business stop for a couple of nights while in Jinjiang .
Really comfy bed ( stayed on 12th floor) room spotlessly clean .
Great breakfast selection though it was difficult to get a table at around 8am as so busy ( Tuesday morning)

Good hotel near Jinjiang Airport

Still one of my favourite hotels in this area.
Modern, Comfortable, Good wifi, everything works as it should. Most rooms are nice & big. Club level room packages are well worth the extra cost.
There is annoying cost cutting such as HBO/BBC News etc ceased & repaced by RussiaToday as nearest English TV Channel. Dinner Buffet now replaced by a la carte /menu ordering. I prefer buffet systems,

Strong smell of cigarettes and flowers.

The hotel and its facilities was good. The issue was only the lingering smoke odor that is still present on the non-smoking floors. Turns out they still have ash trays at the Elevator Banks at the Non-Smoking floor. Even the Continental Club reeks of stale cigarette smoke. Lobby has the overpowering smell of flowers once you walk into the hotel. For 3 days, I had to breathe through my mouth as I walk across the lobby. Makes me think I am at a funeral wake with the smell.

A great place to stay in Quan Zhou

The rooms were very comfortable, the hotel seems pretty new and it is located within walking distance or a very short cab ride from the airport. We had lunch at the hotel and the food was exceptional.

I turn in my Laundry at 8:30 AM when I go to breakfast, I return after a long day by 10:45 PM and NO Laundry in my room, I go doen to the front desk and find two other Foreigners with the same exact problem, the guy at the counter says we got your clothes mixed up with these two other foreigners that kinda look like me as in a guy from Poland and a guy from Australia and myself from USA, all of us are checking out early the next day and we must have our clothes, an hour later they arrive 4 hours before I leave and the clothes were not really washed but sprayed to smell Ok and the clothes were still stretched out, in the morning I said I would not pay for the bad service and non-clean clothes they would check with the big manager and he did not arrive for 2 hours, I could not wait I had to fly in 1 hour, so I would not pay and they would not give my deposit back so they got paid by charging my credit card, and for loosing my wash and not washing my Laundry, I had stayed there 4 times a year for 20 years. Not sure about the future, with the Marco Polo.

Great motel. Has ATM in the lobby area which was handy as most places would only take Chinese cards, not international or even our travel card. Room was awesome, heaps of extras in the bathroom, also some biscuits and fruit and bottled water. Breakfast included was the best we've ever had - heaps of choices. Good wifi. Easily walkable district

Westerner Freindly hotel near Jinjiang airport

My favourite hotel in this area. 5mins from airport (JJN/Quanzhou). Well worth paying extra for club rooms. Good internet. Westerner friendly. Has all 5* hotel facilities. Dinner buffet is a little expensve but still good value. George (doorman) is very helpful .I have never needed to try room service food after hours. I tried nearby Aile hotel(similar cost structures) however it is nowhere near as good. Best book airport shuttle early. Many staff have good english.

HOtel is great for the price.Its not in a very good location, its like putting a mansion in the middle of compton CA, minus the crime.. But its close to the airport, clean, comfortable and does the job. Cafe Marco needs to improve, the staff arent customer friendly and the food outside of the breakfast buffet is horrible, not much of a selection and everything taste the same and not pleasant. Theres not much to choose from outside unless your fluent in the language, there is an amazing hot pot place in the dilapidated mall next door, make sure to go the bathroom before or after eating here though. Id give this hotel a 5 if it improved on its Restaurants options.

The staff may have been a bit lacking. The Bel Hop speaks better English than the front desk. The bar had an ad for buy one drink have another on them but they did not honor it and the manager did not honor it. Not really the attitude I would expect from this chain. We had the business card from the previous manager, too bad he was not still there, he was a nice guy.

$12 for a Coffee?

Great location if you have a late flight in or early flight out. However the hotel has a captive audience and they know it.

Upon checking in ai realised i had booked a twin room rather than king. I asked to swap it over and was told that would be an additional $50. I didn't bother but it was frustrating as the room type was available.

I pre paid breakfast, arrived and it was a good selection buffet. However when asked if i would like a coffee, i said yes and requested a Latte. I was then told this type of coffee was not include in breakfast and there would be an additional charge. Thought that was a pretty average service but agreed. Finally get the bill for my pretty average Latte. $12 AUD......i felt like giving them an award for \"worlds most expensive coffee\"

Other than that the hotel is great and convenient, but like all Accor hotels. They don't put the customer first like Hilton do.

Nice hotel in Quanzhou

There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel. Staff very nice and overall, a very well maintained hotel. Lavender spa was very nice and as a woman felt very comfortable getting a massage there. Not always true in other hotels in China! Food was also good!

GREAT hotel!

All around great hotel, staff was great! B-fast buffet was included and was pretty amazing, they have a few different resturaunts that were really good as well. Also the lobby serves really cold beer and great apps, cost is great as well. One complaint was the massage place that was attached to the hotel, terrible service. They showed me to my room, I showered and waited 30 minutes and no one showed up, I wasnt to happy about this and brought it to managements attention so be forewarned if planning on getting a massage.Also they need to change up the music within the hotel its too trance and puts you to sleep! There is an amazing hot pot place around the corner 2nd floor of the mall thats a must! Airport is 5 mins from hotel, they offer complimentary shittle service however make sure to book asap as they will book fast.All an all a great place, great value and I will def be staying there again!

For good (or not) for traveler who use to come to this hotel in regular basis over the years, everything keeps the same with strengthens and flaws. As always, is so difficult to communicate with some staff specially in the restaurant and the spa. This time the wifi was perfect!

So far, it is the best hotel in Jinjiang. Western standards. Reasonable prices. They have minor things to improve: breakfast, more staff that can speaks English, the schedule times of the restaurants, soon it will need a renovation... the problem is that the quality is getting worse every time.

One night not enough

Really impressed with the hotel and its location, but only having a 1 night stay, it was not long enough to take in all the facilities. Excellent breakfast, large comfortable rooms and the all the staff were helpful and friendly.Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Jinjiang for an enjoyable stay. 5 minutes from the Jinjiang airport and the hotel car was available to take me there.

Air-con not working. Got to get up at 3am as the heat was unbearable. Also, we found mosquitoes in the room. We called the manager to make a complaint, and the manager don't even bother to offer an apology. We are definitely disappointed!

When in Quanzhou...

This is a very nice, clean, modern hotel. The rooms are very large and well appointed.
Nice clean bathrooms - with a huge bath.
The usual western buffet breakfast. Only one western restuarant with a reasonably priced buffet each night (about 160 RNB).
Location is close to the airport - about 5 min - make sure you dont pay more than about 30 RNB for the trip.
Note - the hotel is in Jinjiang NOT Quanzhou - its about a 30 min taxi trip to the centre of Quanzhou.
Overall we were very happy with this hotel - only negative comment is the traffic noise at night - plenty of honking horns, and we were on the 10th floor.
