There was a hidden tax charge of the room. That was not informed anywhere. The receptionist stated that if you pay in CLP we did not have to pay the tax, we asked to pay in CLP but then still added the extra tax. The bar was a fridge with wine and beers. We were not told about the facilities of the hotel had to find out by ourselves. Very disappointing

In sync with nature. The property is located on the best beach in Arica with huge waves. Beautiful rooms oitfitted with natural materials. Great breakfast served indoor or outside. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved it. The most gorgeous sunsets from the room. Incredibly peaceful. A private little beach right in the backyard. Such amazing dinner and breakfast service. The hotel boasts a stunning appearance, yet the service fell short of expectations considering the price point. Upon my early arrival at 8 a.m. – a common occurrence due to fluctuating flight times – I received no orientation regarding hotel amenities, including the necessity of dinner reservations. Moreover, a Wi-Fi outage compounded the issue, with no contingency plan communicated. When seeking local information, I was merely provided with a phone number, lacking any helpful guidance. It’s worth noting that dinner reservations are a requirement, a detail overlooked one day due to lack of network during a tour. Despite a request for assistance before departing for an 11-hour bus ride, the hotel declined to provide even a basic meal. Lastly, there was a discrepancy between Expedia’s quoted rate of approximately $340 for three nights and the higher amount charged upon settlement at the hotel.

The setting is wonderful, perched at the edge of Lisera beach where you can witness the sunset and enjoy sounds of the breakers. The building has a modernist look with many wood finishes. No air conditioning but always an ocean breeze.

We love birds so this was a paradise, right on the ocean and hundreds of sea and shore birds right out on the rocks at the water. This area would be perfect with a car as it is a bit far from the main part of town (although we appreciated this for relaxation and did just fine using Uber). Staff were very friendly. The sunsets could not be better.

Wonderful setting on the beach. Check in was easy. Breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable, despite no a/c. Internet not working in our room was major inconvenience. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice! Located between 2 public beaches. Easy parking. Quick check-in. English spoken. Comfortable bed, spacious room with awesome view. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a treat, probably the best during our 6 weeks in Chile. Will return.

The whole week long stay was perfect... the rooms have a full floor to ceiling wall with a door to the terrace that makes you feel like you are in the sea... the bedding is beyond fabulous, 800 count sheets and feather pillows... impeccable staff that takes care of everything.... outstanding full course breakfast... wonderful French press coffee... 1.5 kil to town, easily walkable but bus across the street... if you go to Arica, it is the only place to stay❤️

Sea-front hotel

A sustainable small hotel (18 rooms) on the sea front, this hotel benefits from being far enough away from the city centre to avoid any hubbub and busy-ness, while being no more than a short (15-25 minute) walk away from the main square and most of the restaurants.
The waves will (if that's your thing) both soothe you to sleep and wake you up, and the sea birds - gulls and pelicans, plus the odd vulture - will help you get out of bed in the morning.

All rooms have a sea view; the hotel itself has a small, somewhat gravelly beach section, but you're only a few minutes walk from a couple of official, sandier beaches.
The sustainable side of things mostly comes in the form of recommendations - limit how much water you use (Arica is one of, if not THE, driest city in the world); put your toilet paper in the bin, rather than the toilet - but these aren't hard to abide by. Your room gets a daily jug of potable water.
The relaxed vibe of the hotel matches how the town itself has a remarkably laid-back feel, so you could probably spend as many days as you wanted to here. Alongside everything else, English is spoken widely by the staff, so it's refreshingly simple to make your needs known.

Luxury property at a steal price

What an absolute pleasure! I’m not one to write reviews but in this case an exception needs to be made. For the experience we had I would have been happy to have paid north of $300 USD a night. At $100 I feel like I’m taking advantage of someone’s generosity. The hotel property is stunning with an unreal view. The rooms are practically directly over the ocean. Meticulously appointed eco-hotel. The icing on the cake is the breakfast included in the price of a room. Fresh ground coffee served in a French press with pressed juice, eggs and ham and cheese sandwich, guacamole, more toast, jam etc.... Everytykgn beautifully presented and served at the lobby restaurant which sits right on the oceanfront. Having seen and been inside the other typical cookie cutter concrete block hotels on the more densely populated strip of Arica I can see this is without a doubt the best hotel in Arica. Anyone who has written a bad review of this hotel is the kind of person who enjoys microwaveable meals in front of the TV. Thanks Hein and the rest of the Apacheta staff that made our stay a truely memorable one!

Fantastic modern hotel on the seafront surrounded

As a birdwatcher this hotel was heaven on earth. Design of hotel is exciting and efficient. Service was friendly and efficient. The views were amazing. On the night we were there the hotel even provided restaurant service in the evening.

Wonderful couple run this modern place. Wooden everything: floors, walls, ceilings, beds, etc. Breakfast was excellent! They went out of their way to help us order food in the night we arrived and provided plates and silverware. Great place, though not cheap.

In die Innenstadt sollte man besser fahren, aber es gibt auch fußläufig Restaurants. Jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick und einen Balkon zum Meer. Frühstück war sehr lecker!

El hotel es bonito estéticamente, la habitación acogedora, limpia, con una vista hermosa en el balcón y la cama amplia.
El único inconveniente que tuvimos es que en la madrugada se escuchaba musica fuerte afuera (desconozco si fué alguien que se quedó al frente del hotel escuchando musica o algo)pero interrumpió el descanso.
Es algo mas ajeno ya que podría ser algo de mucho mas lejos, pero es lo único a punto negativo que tuve en mi experiencia.
Lobby y personal muy amable, y desayuno rico.

Hotel com vista extraordinária do pacífico. Limpeza deixou a desejar no banheiro, como respingos de pasta de dente na bancada/pia e alguns poucos cabelos. Equipe com atendimento dentro da média de forma geral, salvo exceção a recepção que estava na manhã do checkout que foi além da média, com sua gentileza e atenção. Café da manhã estava gostoso e bem servido. Os quartos são confortáveis e espaçosos, mas peçam no quesito acústico (barulho de motos e carros passando no decorrer da noite/madrugada).

Decepcionante! Pésimo calidad en servicio hotelero

Gestioné esta reserva para mis padres, debido al acotado tiempo de días libres para ellos por motivos de horarios laborales, ingresaron el sábado 6/03/23 a este “Hotel Apacheta”, La cual en cuanto al servicio es decepcionante por la calidad en atención al cliente desde la recepción, infraestructura carente de ventanas aislantes de ruido, mis padres me comentaron que no pudieron dormir durante las 2 noches debido al semejante y fastidioso ruido desde el 2do piso, ya que la infraestructura genera crujido de cada paso y movimientos de los huéspedes que alojan en el 2do piso, toallas percudidas con olor a humedad, horarios restringidos del área de alimentos y bebidas, aseo básico (se limpia lo visible).
en las fotos no se percibe claramente la realidad del establecimiento.
No cumple relación precio-calidad.
