It is a beautiful serene place. The accommodations are simple but decent. We were fortunate the evening cooled down a bit as the room was not air conditioned but the fresh outside air made the room comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lovely flowerbeds and places to sit and picnic. The restaurant's food was good, although they didn't allow takeout after we were told that would be fine provided it was the main dish only.

English is not the common language here but everyone tried their best to help out. The fridge in the room did not have a freezer for my ice packs and I was told there was no place that they could freeze them for me. They said there was an ice machine available. What I realized the next day was that there actually was a communal freezer in the lounge of the building that I was staying in that I could have used to freeze my ice packs in.

The lack of TV in your room is a plus for us. It is very possible we will return some day and spend an extra night or two to explore the area further.

A cause d’une panne de courant, le système d’alarme a sonné pendant 45 minutes à 4h du matin. Impossible de rejoindre le gardien de nuit et aucune compensation pour le fait qu’on a pas dormi. Très déçue.

Comfortable stay by a beautiful lake

The cabin was perfect for our stay, I only wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

We were pleasantly surprised that the shower and bathroom were great (given that it was a wooden cabin) and it also had a fridge, coffee machine and other useful amenities.

We had to check-in a little later than expected and reception made special arrangements so that we could pick up our key, which was very kind.

My only concern is that the bed is maybe a little smaller than a normal ‘double’ bed, but this was really not an issue and we really enjoyed our stay. The lake just outside is beautiful, we just wish it hadn’t been raining quite so much! Thank you!

Scenic Get away.

This place is a gem. The area is beautiful. On the shore of Lac Bouchette, with biking, hiking, strolling, and oh the air. Unbelievably affordable, especially if you're from the States.

Un grand merci a Daniel Paradis qui nous a conduit a la gare de train de lac Bouchette et qui est resté avec ma famille jusqu'a ce que le train arrive. Excellent service en général et Mr Paradis est une très bonne personne. Tout le personal était gentil et serviable. Bonne expérience.

Hebergement dans un ermitage religieux. Le coin est magnifique aux abords de lacs, un observatoire et disponible pour admirer la vue, Une bonne boulangerie et un bon restaut dans lequel nous avons bruncher sont disponibles dans l'hermitage.La chambre est spacieuse et recente. L'arrive en dehors de l'horaire d'ouverture se fait a l'aide d'un garde poster vers la barriere qui mene a l'ermitage.

Un transport a été offert pour se rendre a l'hébergement depuis notre arrivée en train. Mais en retard.
Personnel acceuillant. Un peu de confusion pour nous rendre à notre chambre. Un peu de confusion pour se rendre au restaurant qui ne se trouve pas dans notre hôtel. Nourriture déçevante. Bénévole très serviable pour nous ramener au train a la fin de notre séjour. Directrice vraiment gentille.

Visite qui vaut la peine a tous les plans.

Accueil excellent et chaleureux. Déjeuner simple mais varié et de qualité. Chambres et salle de bain tres propres. Pas d’air climatisé dans les chambres mais la nuit était fraiche et la fenetre ouvrait grand. Visite guidée du Pere France très agréable. Journée au soleil radieux. 16-26 degré. Superbe site pour une Retraite ou repos.

Nous étions hébergés dans le batiment Bethanie. Chambre très propre, mais petite et mal insonorisée. On entendais notre voisin ronfler comme s'il étais dans notre chambre. Bel environnement à visiter une fois, mais je n'y retournerais pas.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à l'ermitage. Nous avons des petits enfants et nous nous avons sentis très confortables. Le seul bémol selon nous a été la qualité de la nourriture, les plats n'avaient pas beaucoup de goût, et les aliments etaient plutot transformés. Par contre, nous avons apprecié que les enfants de moins de 5 ans mangent gratuitement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les seuls désagréments sont qu’il n’a pas d’air climatisé dans les chambres ce qui a fait qu’il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. La salle de bain est vraiment petite ce qui rendait la situation difficile avec un bébé. La dernière chose est le fait qu’on est pas venu faire la chambre ce qui aurait été apprécié d’au moins vider les poubelles, car il avait juste une poubelle dans la chambre. Un peu désagréable avec un bébé aux couches. L’emplacement était agréable.

Tranquilité et cadre authentique

Nous avons passés 2 nuits a l ermitage Saint Antoine. Notre chalet etait au bord du lac. Nous avons marché sur le sentier du flâneur, et gouter les produits de la boulangerie artisanale. Moment bien agréable qui invite au calme.
