The way a basic, roadside motel should be.

Roadside motel in the old school style. Basic, but clean and comfortable accommodations. An old place that has been updated and well-kept. Friendly staff. It provides what you need, and not much else. Priced right. I wish more of these older properties had survived. There is a need for basic roadside motels out there, too bad so many faded away.

It was an older property, but was clean. We originally booked what they call a suite. Which is just a bigger room with two beds and a sofa bed when we got there they were having some issues with it and so they gave us two rooms and didn’t charge us anymore to make up for. It was actually really nice.

This is an older motel, which is fine. The bed was firm, the pillows were the worst I have had, cigarette burns in the bedding, the room smelled like mold, the clock radio charger didn’t work, it was just dark and felt dank. The room would benefit from updated lighting.

It was very pleasantly surprising. It is a older motor lodge type that has been completly remodeled. Bright rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Peaceful and quiet. Firepit in the front courtyard was available. We just didnt utilize it. Minutes from downtown shops, park and places to eat!

Staff was nice and friendly and check in was easy. The room was ok but bathroom was terrible. The sink counter was falling off the wall and there was dirt and mold everywhere. After we took a shower we realized that there was water under the floorboards in the room and it was coming up between the planks. We had to put towels down and wipe our feet before we got into bed. There was so much water and the floorboards looked like they were already warping so this was a known issue. The blankets are sheet thin and so are the walls. We were cold and cold hear the people in the next room talking until midnight. Overall not a good stay so we decided to cut our trip short. I talked to the husband and wife who work there and possibly own the place. Supposedly we will be reimbursed for our second night but that was days ago and I still haven't been reimbursed. They need to actually fix issues with their rooms and not just try to cover them up.

Clean rooms. Sufficiently stocked with commodities and towels. Clean remote controls (!). Friendly and accommodating staff. Manager handled late night noise immediately and effectively :o) at first notification.
I will return to this hotel. Cozy :o)

Motel front desk were friendly. Check-in and check-out was simple. Room was clean overall. The bathroom shower was small but clean and had plenty of hot water. The walls were a tad bit thin but nothing too bad. Bed were semi-comfortable. Not enough outlets for charging electronics, or medical devices. The site said there was continental breakfast, which was falsified. They have no breakfast at all. Also, the lobby was closed and no one was present after 9PM. Fortunately we had no need to contact the front office. It was not bad overall and wasn’t terrible.

It run down motel. The room smelled musty or moldy. Furniture was outdated (70's). The walls are thin I could hear people in room talking. There was plastic tied on curtains to hold in place. The WiFi didn't seem to work good. There was a few people blaring music outside their rooms. It was ok for 1 night.

The first night their was a slight smell of smoke. This may have been from previous guests. The second night was better. It was a bit noisy from other guests who keep their doors open and talked loudly even after 10 pm. The room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast. The owner brought me some hot water for tea I had brought Along. Friendly family.

The staff is very nice. The room was clean-ish. They have a plumbing issue leads to an odor. Additionally, while the AC did cool the room nicely the unit stunk.
The bed was very comfortable and clean.
Basically, for a cheap sleep with a decent shower and comfortable bed. It gets the job done

Liked that Room you could tell was newly decorated with nice bedding.Not much else to say good about our stay. Room had a musty/mold smell, Bathroom cold no heater but well lit, just small and cramped feeling. Beds were uncomfortable. Coffee pot but no coffee, filter,sweetener or creamer. Chair was taped from a priveous rip. Continental breakfast with shorted hours and basic.

When we first pulled up, it was like a view from a horror movie. Dark. 3 cars, and given the room in the corner next to housekeeping. Entering room, a lot of flies and bugs. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean, however toilet did not flush. Area and room felt weary, so we slept with light on. They stated breakfast, nothing was available, not even coffee. However, if u need to just crash and catch some sleep, I guess its doable, however we wont be back.

Well from the outside it looked rather plain...but the room was great..very large room, the bed was very comfortable, no bathtub but I only take showers anyway..plenty of hot water, very quiet, very nice restaurant right up the street to eat supper..it was very good, they did serve breakfast but we left before it started at 6:00, we have rabbits so having them right outside the door was fantastic..the only thing I would suggest is to have a better tv with more stations...other than that it was a great stay and would stay again.

THANKSGIVING OVERNITE

Stayed overnite to visit with family in Illinois before driving back to Indiana. Clean, beds a d pillowd were super comfy. Everything I needed for a night. Vould hear the neighbors talking through the walls when trying to sleep but overall a good stay. If they hadn't been there, don't think I would have made trip. Six hour drive round trip very tiring in one day. Resting overnite in a big, comfortable bed with lots of comfy pillows......the BEST!!!!!
