This is a decent hotel. We only stayed one night because we needed to get back to Taipei a day earlier and needed a hotel for the night. The hotel building is a little old but the rooms are clean and well maintained. The area has multiple convenience stores and many dining options.

Solid value for the money

I've stayed at Royal Inn Linsen twice now and at their Nanxi location. Facility is newer in Linsen and overall a nice place to stay. Location is good. Breakfast is okay, but in past stays here it was better. They should improve it back to their old standard. Coffee used to be better with more selections. Also, while there were fairly good Chinese selections for breakfast, it was lacking in western breakfast food - needs more/better pastries, etc. With just a little more attention they can get back to being great instead of just good.

Nice bed & spacious room

The room amenities, bath room and overall space (room coms with a nice sofa) for the room exceeded my expectations. The area is relatively convenient with 7-8 mins walk to either metro lines (blue or red). I only part I would nick picked would be the choices of breakfast that is almost similar for everyday, recommend the hotel to consider different options for breakfast as I really got bored by the 3rd morning.

Overall, it’s a good stay, clean rooms, wonderful and friendly service at the reception. I have stayed here a couple times before. However, the only down side during this stay was that there was only one pillow provided for each single bed and the pillow is so soft that it goes flat and provided no support. They could not provide more pillows when requested due to peak travel season. So because of this, we didn’t sleep well for the few nights we stayed there. I hope they can look into this and change their pillows, also provide more pillows.

We traveled with family with kids and booked two room during our stay. The room is clean and nice view of Taipei 101, but the size of the room is a bit small. We travel from two big luggages and hard to open them up to pack. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is small but great use for family like us. Breakfast was locat in the same building of the lobby area with variety of food such as congee, bread, salad, buns, cereal and fried vegetable. They seem meanly Asian taste. Location is great, only 8 min walk to train station and shopping mall. The hotel was surround by restaurants, clubs, bar, and convenience store.

Great family room perfect for us 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Very lovely staff! Will definitely be on my list of hotels when returning to Taipei.
One word of warning: \"Linsen\" is kind of a 'red light area'. If you go through the streets around the hotel you find many bars that clearly offer more than just drinks. Having said that this was not a disturbance at all, there is nothing happening on the street, I don't even think our kids noticed. So this should not put you off but it came as a bit of a surprise to us.

設備が全体に新しく、気持ちよく滞在出来ました。また場所も日本人が多い地区にあり食事に出るのも便利です。桃園空港からの電車の駅も少し距離がありますが歩ける距離でした。今後も台北出張の際には宿泊したいと思います。

Pros:
1. Check in is swift.
2. Staff is very pleasant, helpful and endeavors to accommodate all requests.
3. Elevators in fine working condition.
4. Breakfast included in our daily hotel price and, although not elaborate, it is above average.
5. Water pressure in showers is excellent.
6. Toilet is segregated from shower room and toilet seat is heated.
7. Hotel surrounded by shops (restaurants, massage, etc).
8. Room is clean and comfortable.
9. Our departure flight is at 7am, i.e. we have to board a cap at 4:30am. Hotel prepares simple take out breakfast for us (sandwich and coffee).
Cons:
1. A good 15 minutes walk to nearest MRT.
2. Recept on 4th floor and there is no assistance regarding our luggages.

This hotel is a great deal. Price is really good and the room is clean and comfortable. It is not a huge room but has everything efficiently arranged. Breakfast was included and had good variety foods. It may be a bit far from the subway station but walkable distance, and is located in safe area with enough things to do. I really enjoyed the stay and am willing to use this hotel again.

Great Location, Great Staff, Very Clean

The Royal Inn Taipei Linsen is in a great location. It's very close (5 - 10 minute walk) from both Taipei and Zhongshan MRT stations. There's tons of shopping nearby and, just as everywhere in Taipei, tons of great food within walking distance.

The hotel is super clean. The room we had was also very quiet. The staff was excellent as well, helping us with all our needs. The front desk staff speak English and will help you with anything you need.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to Taipei!

Stayed there for 3 nights with family end of July. Convenient location that is fairly close to 2 different MRT stations, lots of restaurants and shops close by, room is clean and functional. Free breakfast buffet has nice varieties, and the library provides a comfortable lounging area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Website states there is swimming pool, but there is no swimming pool.

フロントが4階にあり、フロントのスタッフは皆親切でした。日本語が話せる人もいて、話せなくても翻訳アプリで頑張って対応してくれて、嬉しかったです。
部屋は綺麗でしたが、シャワーとトイレがガラス戸でなんとなく不思議な感じでした。シャワー浴びて出るとすぐ部屋なので、シャワー戸の外にマットをひく風なので、友人と気まずい事になる場合もあるかもしれません。
ホテルの1〜3階の店が風俗営業店なので、夜遅くは出かけない方がいいです。

全体的に良かったのですが、お風呂が使いにくかったです。シャワーは水漏れし、トビラの外にも水が漏れ出しました。湯船のお湯もだんだん抜けて来ました。トイレの背後と部屋の窓にロールカーテンがあるのですが、閉めないと丸見え。レースカーテンがあれば嬉しかったと思いました。

チェックインの時のフロントの女性がびっくりするぐらい暗い雰囲気で無愛想で何の質問にも答えてくれず、感じ悪く楽しい気分をへこませます。
他の方はとても明るくて良かった。
お部屋も清掃が行き届いていて快適に過ごすことができました。
食事は種類は多くないが毎日ちょっとづつ変化があって美味しかった。
ビジネスマンが多く　日本人が多いような気がした。
静かで落ち着けるホテルです。
でも次回は無いかなと思います。

地下鉄中山駅や林森北路周辺店舗からも徒歩圏内で立地がよいです。ホテルは客室が清潔で、コーヒーサービスなどがあるラウンジサービスも優良。雨の貸し傘でもお世話になりました。日本語が普通に通じます。台北では、スリッパ以外のアメニティは有料になりましたので、ご注意ください。といっても、歯ブラシなど1品5元ですが。おすすめできるホテルです。

デラックスルームに宿泊しました。

清潔度:素晴らしい
部屋の中もそうですが、館内も清掃がきちんとされています。妙な匂いもせず全く不満に思うことはありませんでした。たまに清掃が不十分だったという口コミを見ますが、これは当たり外れが出てしまうやむを得ない部分なのかなと思います。

立地:何を重視するかに依る
まず交通の面では歩いて10分ほどのところにMRTの駅があるのでそこまで不便ではないです。ただ、台北駅や中山駅からは15〜20分ほど歩くことになるので、観光から疲れて帰ってきた時には歩くのがちょっとしんどいかなと。youbikeのステーションも少し離れているのも残念。
コンビニは歩いてすぐのところにセブンイレブンとファミリーマートがあります。ローカルですがドラッグストアもあるので困ることはなさそうです。
あとで知りましたが日本人がよく行くエリアのようで、日式居酒屋やスナック的なものがよくありました。9時くらいになると日本語で話しかけて来る客引きも居ました。真横がスナックなので気にする人ら気にするかもしれません。
日本人御用達感が強いので、台湾のご飯を楽しみたいということだと、すこし不便な立地なような気がします。

サービス:とても良い
私は中国語のいわゆる普通語もあまりわかりませんがカウンターの方は親切に対応してくれます。エクスペディア経由で宿泊前にメッセージを送りましたが、直ぐに返事も返ってきたので安心しました。

部屋:素晴らしい
グレード高めの部屋にしたからかもしれませんが全く不満ありませんでした。コンセントは枕元、デスク、洗面所と十分な数があります。シャワールームはバスタブが付いており、ゆっくりと湯船に浸かれます。
テレビは日本のBS系も視聴可能、YouTubeも観ることができます。服をかけておくハンガーもあり、ファブリーズ的な匂い消しありました。これで不満が出る日本人いないのでは？と思えるレベルです。

総合的にとても良いです。ただ、少し高くなりそうですか同じロイヤルインの台北南西の方が立地的には便利かなと思います。あちらなら中山駅から徒歩3〜4分、新光三越やオークラホテルもすぐそこなので土産物も買いやすいと思います。

MRT中山駅から歩くと、老人には少し負担になる様な遠さを感じた。MRT善導寺駅の方が一本道でわかりやすく時間も短そう。
バスタブの無い部屋だったがシャワーの水圧温度問題ない。
トイレもウオッシュレットで快適。
就寝時ベッド正面の非常灯が消えない。
コンセントは3ヶ所ありスマホ等の充電に十分。
TVは日本語放送が映るが、NHKは野球放送のみ、BSも映るがTVショッピングだけ。日本語ニュースが見たかった。
ホテルフロントは4階にありスタッフは日本語対応OK。中国語の発音をいろいろ教えてもらった。
朝食は4日間ほとんど同じ。少し飽きたが、最低限のものは揃っていた。
LCC利用のため荷物重量制限があり、チェックアウト時フロントでスーツケースの重量を測ってもらった。
最後にもう少し安く泊まれたら良かった。
