I had called the morning of our arrival that evening askong about the pool. They made no mention that the heater was out of order so the pool was cold. Hotel was very clean, very nice and the staff were terrific! Pool was a nice temperature and clean. The elevators were quick with the lobby in close proximity. Breakfast options were good with everything you needed. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful if needed. I booked through hotels.com and my credit card was charged when I booked. However, when I arrived at hotel, they had no record of payment from hotels.com. Krisanne, desk manager, was AWESOME. After a lot of effort on her part, she was able to contact the right organization and get what she needed to confirm the payment. And she was very nice about it and extremely helpful when none of it was her fault. THANK YOU Krisanne!!

Hastings get away

The location was perfect for our need. It is close to shopping basic needs. The indoor pool was a good size, but the tile siding needed to be cleaned. The pool water was chilly and there were plenty of chilly children in towels. The room bath / shower needs another safety bar. The floor of the tub is narrow and slippery. The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in years! The fresh brewed coffee was a treat. The staff was cheerful, and helpful.

We had a grwat stay. It was nice n clean. Breakfast was great. The workout room can use a little sprucing n airconditioning but other than that i was able to get my workout in. The shower needs a new shower head it wasnt strong enough. But if you forgot your toiletries they got you covered from lotion to shampoo, conditioner n showel gel. My favorite brand Dove.

The customer service was outstanding! Matt was wonderful at check in as was the rest of the staff. The pool was nice. Wished they had a hot tub. Breakfast was yummy and again, excellent staff! Super friendly! Only negative was the room smelled a bit when we first walked in. It seemed to be just in the bathroom area.

From our late evening check in to our early check out every staff member was pleasant and accommodating. The staff member who was preparing breakfast went out of her way to talk to each person and help anyone who needed it. We did not have turn down service as we requested but each day they came to check on us to see if we needed anything. If we ever come back to Hastings Holiday Inn Express we will definitely come back and stay here!

Would stay here again

Inside of hotel was very nice. Outside of hotel was just basically parking lot on a very busy road. Our room was very nice, great king size bed, additional seating area and additional kitchenette area with full fridge.

A shining star in Hastings, Michigan!

The Holiday Inn Express Hastings exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Laundry facility is so handy and cheap! It was great. We just wished it had walk-in showers and not tubs.

We had a herd of buffalo above us and a baby next door crying at 1AM for 15 minutes at the top of her lungs.

A pleasure to stay here!

Visiting a family member in a nursing home. I live 4 hours away so I'm tired by the time I get to the motel. Check in is very easy and this facility is very clean. Quiet and comfortable rooms. And let me say, the breakfast they put on is fantastic! Really makes \" the icing on the cake\" for this place! I've stayed a couple of times and I will be back again.

The staff was great, and our room was clean. The only minute area that was inconvenient was that breakfast wasn't until 7am. We choose Holiday Inn Expresses for what they offer and are very pleased. For us we are chasing sporting activities that our kids are involved in and usually it's up at 6am and out the door by 7am. With a 7am breakfast we had to purchase breakfast offsite. It's an added cost that we generally don't have when choosing a Holiday Inn Express.

The staff was great. Breakfast was awesome as is the breakfast attendant. Someone ran at all hours above us and the smell of marijuana on our floor was bad. But overall we enjoy the Holiday Inn in Hastings.
