The place was beautiful and away from the city. The scenic gardens along with the outdoor amenities made it such a comfy and relaxing stay. The food in the restaurant along with the breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the back of the rooms. Would definitely return for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay the weekend of May 15th-17th, 2026. Our group had 5 rooms. Each one of us had a marvelous stay! We did not use the spa or pool. We enjoyed walking the grounds, hearing the snap and crackle of the fires that were burning outside, and the delicious breakfast every morning. The staff were so helpful and gracious. They were wonderful to have the Montreal-Buffalo game playing for those who wanted to watch it.
Chloe at the front desk was on top of everything we asked of her.
Ophelie was a star in the dining room.
If you plan to work--think again--you shouldn't since it is so beautiful. If you have to, the internet is not the strongest there.
The shower (waterfall and handheld) had great temperature and power.
The beds were SO COMFY! I wish I had more time be in the bed!
We would definitely come back at another time of year for a longer stay. The surrounding area is gorgeous!

Room was clean, staff was very courteous, helpful, and respectful of anglophones. Food was extremely high quality and flavourful. Grounds are not as interesting in winter as in summer but, if you're adventurous and have snowshoes, there's lots to explore, lots of nature. The hot tub water jets were not working, so that was a bit disappointing. Safety instructions were exclusively in French, which I think is an unforgivable policy. Auberge des Gallants is highly recommended - unfortunately it's in Quebec where there is a fascist gov't that does not allow English.

The place is beautiful. The garden sublime. The pool very clean and quite with warm water and clean towels. The rooms were espectacular. The shower amazing. I booked a massage for 9 am next day and it was cancelled. Then re-booked for 4:30 and there was more than an hour delay so I ended not enjoying the masssge. This might have been a unique situation. But I was pretty much looking forward to that massage in my two day stay. The staff was amazing. Beautiful stay altogether.

Love this place! I have stayed here numerous times. Hidden gem in the woods. Great grounds well kept. Walking trails. Beds are super comfortable. Pool and hot tubs are great. Internet is good. The air conditioning in the room that we had was not the best. Our room stayed at 24 degrees, which is warm to sleep.
We had a nice breakfast but we could not stay for the dinner because we had to leave 1 day earlier...

We stayed at Auberge Des Gallants as an alternative to staying at a Montreal hotel for the F1 Grand Prix and I am so incredibly happy that we did! The location was gorgeous - close enough to Montreal that the drive was reasonable but far enough away to truly feel like an escape from the city. Although the guest room was nothing particularly special (but still very clean and extremely comfortable), the rest of the resort was like a dream. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful gardens and so much wildlife that it felt like a fairy forest. The food was amazing - our dinner at the restaurant was quite literally the best food my boyfriend and I have ever experienced (I cannot recommend the scallop appetizer enough). The shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in the bathroom instantly became a new favourite of mine that I’ll be ordering for myself at home. I was a bit concerned that we might have an issue because neither my boyfriend nor I speak French, but the staff were lovely and very helpful and the language barrier was not an issue at all. Considering how affordable our one-night stay was compared to Montreal hotels, we were extremely impressed with the quality of our experience. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough - after spending a single night there, my boyfriend and I knew this would become a special place for us and that we would absolutely be returning again.

La chambre était extrêmement spacieuse et le lit, d’un confort exceptionnel ... il était presque difficile de le quitter le matin. L’environnement est magnifique, calme et propice au repos. Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours attentif aux besoins et souriant, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à quiconque cherche une escapade relaxante, et c’est certain, j’y retournerai sans hésiter !

Very limited choice for dining, although excellent meal. Unannounced breakfast buffet because too many clients on Friday. Limited choice and almost cold. I have had a far better expérience at that inn a few years ago. Will not return.

Lovely room, very large and clean. Great bathroom - a compendium would have been useful, as the shower was very confusing.

Had a very nice dinner and lunch in the restaurant, and the hot tubs were lovely. Beautiful garden area as well.

The information on the webste mentioned laundry facilities, however a request to use a machine for one load (which we would do ourselves) led to such confusion and consternation, that we let it go. A shame, because there was not a coin laundry to be found, even after driving for more than half an hour.

A similar level of confusion arose when we tried to use the $15 food and beverage voucher we had been given. I suppose the most concerning thing was the level of unconcern shown by the majority of the staff. The exception was the young man who was our waiter at dinner - friendly and helpful.

It could be a difference in culture but when I was asked if I had a reservation for breakfast I was taken back. I was traveling alone. After being seated as an exception, I was then told I had to move to the adjacent table. Nobody was seated to dine near me nor was the room full by any means. Trying to provide a “fine dining” experience at the sake of your guests is absurd.

What a gorgeous place to disappear to, not too far outside of Montreal. The rooms and amenities are great, the staff friendly, and the surroundings immaculate. The gardens alone are beautiful to behold. We were just passing through, but I can totally see wanting to get away to this paradise for a few days, or even hold a wedding or other special event there!

The hotel itself is beautiful but very short-staffed and disorganized.
Despite speaking directly to the reception upon check-out and then ANOTHER conversation by telephone, we were charged DOUBLE the amount for the room which required yet another time-consuming phone call. This is despite being assured that this would not happen when we discussed this upon check-out. Very disappointed.

Long check in process with confusing instructions for people coming in after hours. We were first told there was nothing to do, then we were told we need to call somebody to be let in after 10, when we did call this person, they told us we could just get in with our key.

Also, plastic cups and paper cups are definitely not eco-friendly. Imagine the wasteWhen you consider every single room has these.

The property was beautiful. The room was cozy, with an electric fireplace. There was also a spacious outdoor area, complete with a wood-burning stove. Wood was provided as were Adirondack chairs. Finally, there was an amazing outdoor jacuzzi available... so relaxing!! We will definitely be back.

This Inn is paradise. The grounds are breathtaking, the pool is pristine, the food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. I was greeted warmly and the woman at reception took the time to allow me to practice my French - helping me out very patiently and enthusiastically. I felt so grateful for this opportunity (as it is a bit nerve-wracking to try to use my French!). I was so happy the whole time we were there. My daughter and I made memories to last a lifetime (lots of ping pong, swimming, hot-tubbing, walking the gorgeous ground, fine dining with live music, etc). We laughed and relaxed and had such a good time. There was a special person whose sole job it was to make sure that everyone had everything they needed and we watched him connect with everyone in a genuine way. This was a real vacation. And all of this felt non-pretentious as well. Just an extraordinary place all around. This was our 3rd trip, and next time we will stay even longer.
