First thing to say is that all the staff were really friendly and welcoming, I couldn’t fault them at all.
In terms of the hotel, the positives are the small, boutique, style of the hotel (I think just 30 or so rooms), and the fact that it was very private with a nice pool area.
The only real negatives were the fact that the seating areas outside the rooms (where the hot tubs were located) had no privacy at all, very low, open mesh, divisions, and walkways that meant other guests walked right past where your hot tub was located.
The rooms, and the rest of the hotel, were spotlessly clean, and the complimentary wine and water was a nice touch, as was the welcome drink.
The only “fault” was our shower, a very poor design, with a bar on the floor inside the shower area in a position that all the water ran down the glass door and out under it, flooding the bathroom and out into the bedroom, as it could not run away due to that bar preventing it getting to the drain (1not sure if that was unique to our room - No. 107).
