A true gem in the mountains.

Fantastic stay at Rinjani Lodge. What a gem of a hotel. The views are incredible and our room was immaculately clean.

The food was delicious with a very wide ranging menu, both local and western/south East Asian. Presentation was lovely, especially breakfast.

The room itself was a good size, good AC and a large bathroom. It had a day bed outside where we could chill and simply look!

There are two pools - one for those who come to eat/drink and one for residents.
The property is set among beautiful and well maintained gardens with many flowers and trees attracting butterflies and birds.

We had an issue with our safe and it was looked after immediately.

The property is located very close to the gate to the park for the waterfalls. And close to restaurants and local shops/spas. There is an ATM close by.

I leave my last words for the staff who are wonderful, friendly, welcoming and most helpful. A true asset to the hotel.

We would absolutely return to this hotel and we hope to.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rinjani Lodge. Though I did not hike Rinjani, I wanted to be at the base of it to enjoy walks to waterfalls and enjoy the view of the volcano and forest from the lodge's lovely infinity pools! The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner stopped working one night and by early the next morning they had already fixed it. They have efficient laundry service. I read some complaints about the food menu at the restaurant, but I appreciated the variety of options and the prices were reasonable. That said, if you want local food you can find it down the street for a lower price. The staff were warm and friendly, the gardens were gorgeous, and the views unbeatable. Get your camera ready for some beautiful photo ops on the many terraces and by the pools!

We booked it staying there before hiking at Mount Rinjani. We didn’t expect much but the views are stunning. The gardens are elegant, the infinity pool overlooks a gorge, mountains, lowlands and the ocean. We should have stayed here more nights. The service was impeccable and the room was spotless.

Great stay to relax at the foot of Mt Rinjani. The hotel is relatively expensive but provides excellent service, so I think, it is worth the money if you want to have sth more than just an overnight stay. Food is also quite expensive but there are cheaper dining options around the lodge. The wifi in the room was not so good, but it was excellent in the restaurant area.

We stayed 3 nights at Rinjani Lodge and absolutely loved our stay. It was beautifully presented accommodation with an amazing backdrop. Hot water, cold airconditioning, excellent restaurant. Staff were always pleasant and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely small hotel in a highland climate. The food in the restaurant was great. The view of the clouds coming down Mt Rinjani’s flanks in the afternoon was sublime. The staff were warm and friendly. (The macaques were not always so friendly).

Cool Place!!!

This place was really nice - excellent staff (super friendly), very very good food, and cool amenities (infinity pools were nice, and so was my room with outdoor bathroom) .
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely stay here again on future visits.
Another plus - it's walking distance from Sendang Gile waterfalls.
Also, they stored my luggage for free after I checked out for my 3-day backpacking trip. I truly appreciate that.

Don't book anything else ... This was special

One of the most amazing places for relaxing that you will come across! The view from the pool is special and the hotel is just so peaceful. Joanna & Marta are fantastic hosts and they answered all of our questions before we arrived and helped us with our onward travel advice. Arranged both airport pick up and a ferry drop off to travel onwards to the the Gili Islands with them and the cars were spacious and drivers super friendly as with all the staff at Joanna & Marta hotels. After staying at Rinjani Lodge we actually left our paid for room early at the gili islands to check into another one of their hotels on Gili T Martas Hotel .. again the staff and hotel were the best! If your're traveling around Gili islands and Lombok don't mess about and book with these guys! Two very special, safe and friendly hotels. Thank you :)!

A Mountain Getaway

The pictures simply don't do it justice. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious especially the triple room. As the large windows faces the beds, you get a stunning view of the mountain side as you wake up in the morning and the balcony provides you with a place to sit and take in the fresh air and to admire the stars at night. The infinity pools with that panoramic view made it a very relaxing and refreshing dip. On the downside, there isn't much to do there in terms of activities. But it is a great place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy nature as it is. I'm planning my next trip back.

Beautiful Place

We loved this place. As beautiful of grounds as we’ve ever seen at such a price. The rooms were spacious with incredible views. The breakfast was great and the entrance to the incredible waterfalls was only 3 minutes walk. This is the best place to stay if you’re up to see the falls.

Fantastic views of the jungle and volcano!

Great hotel with fine rooms offering fantastic views of the jungle and volcano. Loved the infinity pools too. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! Top notch! Book early as you really should give this hotel a try. Loved it and so did the wife, so what more do you want?

Pros:- amazing friendly staff, infinity pool is great, view is great, room is large with a covered outdoor bathroom, food was decent, breakfast was good first time I've seen steak served as breakfast in Indonesia so that's good, hot water shower was good big rain shower head, literally few minutes walk to the start of sendang gile and tiu kelep waterfalls trek

Cons:- wifi is very slow! They really should upgrade the wifi infrastructure, even a cheap bungalow i stayed at in tetebatu was way faster than at this standard of hotel, no hand or face towels provided

Disappointing: unsafe and noisy but great view

Unsafe: one of rhe door didn't lock. We found it wide open at the end of the night. Intrusion vs wind? The other door had a problem too. Even closed, there was a remaining space of about 3-4 inches... that allowed bugs to get in the room. Personnel didn't do anything about those problems.
Noisy: you can hear others clients speaking and walking in their room. Very close to the road.

Beautiful views, excellent hotel

Absolutely stunning views from this hotel. There are two infinity pools - one only for hotel residents and one for everyone (just as a sidenote, none of the pools are heated). Since the hotel is small that means the pools aren't usually that crowded so you can actually enjoy them in peace!

The restaurant is fantastic - great friendly service, excellent quality food, big menu and free lovely breakfast.

If this place is within your budget, I can't imagine why anyone would chose anywhere else to stay while in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable.
The hotel pool is beautiful! Clean and relaxing with an amazing view.
The restaurant cook good food and decent prices. However, the restaurant's pool is turbid. It's also a bit noisy but you can order meals to your room.

I love this hotel!

Overall, everything is great about the hotel, especially the infinity pool with the scenic view! If I have to pick one thing bad about the stay, it would only be the slow wifi, however, perhaps this is common given that it is quite a remote area. Would strongly recommend this hotel!

Rinjani Lodge does deliver on its views of Mount Rinjani – the bungalow front porches, the infinity pool, and the roofed terrace rooms all pay homage to the mountain splendor. The rooms are basic but very comfortable and give a measure of privacy as well as adequate sound insulation even though quite close to the road at the back of the rooms and one another – the village of Senaru was quiet and relaxing place when we were there. The service and the staff were a pleasure to experience. The dining choices and dishes could do with a bit of upgrade or further inspiration, but the service and the view made up for that small miss. The Lodge was a great place to stay to soak in the scenery and solitude of the RInjani mountain experience.

Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Rinjani lodge one night before trecking the Rinjani summit and 3 nights afterwards. We can only recommend it to everyone as it was very close to the entrence of the park, it was very luxury and clean, the stuff always helpful, food great, pools with the best views you can imagine. It is a piece of heaven in Rinjani. Highly recommended!!!

juste splendide, pour se reposer en profitant d'une vue magnifique qui change au fil du jour , du lever du soleil au coucher.... profiter de la piscine, du jardin bien fleuri et se régaler de petits plats cuisinés et présentés avec soin.....de quoi se redonner des forces pour continuer à vadrouiller sur l'ile

Heaven on earth

Rinjani Lodge oli aivan ihana paikka. Puutarha ja uima-altaat olivat upeat. Maisema oli huikea! Bungalow oli iso ja kylpyhuoneessa oli sekä amme että ihanan iso sadesuihku. Kylpyhuone oli osittain ulkona. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Söimme myös hotellilla, ja ruoka oli todella hyvää. Palvelu oli ensiluokkaista ja ystävällistä. Olimme varanneet vaan yhden yön mutta saavuttuamme paikalle varasimme vielä toisen yön. Saatavilla oli vain 3 hengen huone joka sijaitsi toisessa kerroksessa, mutta sekin oli oikein hyvä. Lähistöllä on 2 upeaa vesiputousta joita ei kannata jättää väliin. Lisäksi lähellä on joitakin ravintoloita. Suosittelen kaikille jotka haluavat nauttia vuoristomaisemista ja hyvistä puitteista.
